"He's not my companion. I found him for Syrathos." Li looked to the bird which was resting on her shoulder. "The last time I saw him he mentioned something about wanting a animal companion, so I found him one." She paused for a while. "Do you think he'll like him?" she asked. She took a piece of frybread, "Here, try this. It's really good."

Aura smiled and took the bread. Taking a bite she smiled at Li. "Hm, that is good." She took another bite, then a drink of her wine and looked to the eagle that was resting surpising quietly on Li's shoulder. "For Syrathos, I think he would love him. Such a beautiful creature too."

"Have you seen him lately? I looked all over for him a few days ago but to no avail. I'd really like to give him his eagle." She finished her piece of frybread and got a glass of water. She sat back down and coaxed the eagle into resting on the gauntlet on her forearm. She studied the bird for a few moments. Her people held eagles in the highest regard. They were the most sacred bird. The were excellent hunters and a beautiful sight to watch soar above the land.

Aura finished off the piece of bread she was eating as well as half her glass of wine. "Syrathos, keeps a very erratic schedule here. He'll mostly come around to check up on his daughter, Pheaura. He has biddings to do for the "elders" as he calls them. But rest assured the second he has free time, he'll be back."

"I see," she said softly. "Well, the next time you see him, would you tell him that I have a friend for him?" Li yawned and stretched out. It's been a long day. She stood up from the table. I'm sorry, but I'm rather tired. I think I'm going to go to bed for now. I'll see you tomorrow." The eagle flew to her shoulder once again as she went toward her room.
((Sorry, but I have to go for now. I'll try to get back on later, but I'm not sure. Bye))

"Will do, have a nice rest." Aura tapped her fingers on the table, and finished off her glass. Standing, she dropped the glass into the sink and merely decided to roam the halls as she thought on things.

Bastet stretches and yawns loudly, exposing short cat fangs. She got up and changed, then left her room practically running into Aura. She backed up some, "Oh, Good morning Aura."

Vik opened his eyes and found himself completly surrounded by darkness. "What the..where am I. This isn't my room." From no where, a teary eyed cat-girl appeared. "Are you Vik Maytron?" "Yeah. Hey, aren't you Cleora. That..." "Yes. If my master knew I was here, he'd be furious. But the oracle had to show you something." In a flash, she was engulfed with light. A blue orb formed in front of her. "Ah, Vik. I'm sure Cleora had already informed you of why I'm here. I have forseen a possible future that...well, see for youself." The orb in front of her started swirling. Vik blinked once and suddenly he found himself standing on a busy street. It was his home, Laputa. Children were running around and people were having conversations and buying stuff. At first, he thought the oracle had brought him back hom, but when he reached down to pick up a ball that had gotten away from the children, his hand went right through. "It's a illusion..." Suddenly everything went quiet. Everyone was looking up. A cloud was passing overhead. Vik could make out a small castle on top of it. It was them. It stopped suddenly over the bussy marketplace. He saw what looked like a pyramid and four obelisked attached to the bottom of the cloud. Four lightning beams shot out of the tip of the pyramid and hit the obelisks making a ring. Three seconds later, a gigantic lightning beam shot down and tore right through the the market. Vik was blinded by the light but when he regained his sight, he was standing on air. The oracle was replaying the event. The lightning bolt struck down once again. But this time, Vik saw that upon impact not only did the lightning tear through the cloud, it had created a shockwave that wiped out everything else. "You can probably see why I had to show you this. "When will this happen? Why.." "I truly cannot say. But I advise you, be careful about your decisions. One single mistake can trigger this event. Remember this future is not certain." There was another flash and Vik woke up, breathing hard. Munalsik, who was sleeping on his stomach, got knocked off and slid across the room. "What's your problem?" Munalisk asked

Aura smiled warmly at her friend who she hadn't seen in some time. "Good morning to you too Bastet. There's some bread in the kitchen that Li made for breakfast this morning if you're hungry." She tried to keep a frown hidden. "Ah I'm sorry, but I really must stop procrastinating and get back to some research I'm doing. I'm heading to the library, feel free to join me if you wish, if you need me or anything, that's where you can find me." She gave Bastet a wave, and walked off, she hated leaving her friend like that but she had just been struck by an idea that she just had to look up.

Completely out of breath and on his last ounce of strength a boy no older than the age of ten wiped sopping wet hair from his eyes, catching sight of an old styled manor through rain blurred vision. He adjusted his pack on his shoulder and walked on, coming to lean against the iron wrought gates, using his body weight to push them open.
Continuing to concentrate on his destination he found himself on the doorstep. He would of knocked on the door if his hands hadn't been so painfully cold from the rain. So pressing his body weight to the doors, he manged them open and stepped in out of the rain.
He was tired and hungry, but at least he wouldn't get pounded on by rain anymore. With a sigh, he slipped to the floor, just sitting there cross legged in a puddle of water.

Bastet waved off her friend, she knows how attached she is to magic and research. She walked down the hall to the main room, but before she got to the kitchen she noticed a figure in the corner of her eye. A young boy was sitting on the floor, soaking wet, and he looked exausted. She frowned and went over to him. "Hello, are you alright?"

Khenu's head snapped up from the floor as he stared wide eyed at the obviously half animal half human creature in front of him. In his attempt at blind defense against something he didn't even know was friend or foe, he reached behind himself and grabbed his boomerang, flinging it out.
It merely succeeded in bouncing off the corridor walls, doing no harm whatsoever and creating a recoil from the throw that sent the boy to the floor as he slipped in the puddle, where he merely laid there for a few seconds, before he passed out.

"Leave me alone Munalsik. I've got some thinking to do." "Oh no! Your not hiding anything from me! Aldramech! Probe him!" A transparent golden dragon appeared and changed into a small thread of light connecting itself to Vik and Munalisk's minds. "Ok. Let see here..." Munalisk pulled back, stunned. "Laputa? Destroyed?" "It's only a prediction Munalisk. There's a chance it might not happen." "But it CAN happen...I know how you feel right now. It's my home to. Call me if you need anything." With that, Munalsik left the room, leaving Vik alone to let the whole thing sink in.

Searching the shelves she finally found a book written her ancient tongue, containing what she was looking for. She quickly flipped through the pages until she found what she had earlier glanced; Spirit Synthesis.
And in their want to obtain greater power, they took the spirits of various creatures; mortal, otherworldly, mystical, any kind, and fused their spirits with their own, thus sharing mind, body, and soul and gaining powers of the bonded one. In mind, they would share thoughts, dreams, and any affect on the mind shall be shared, in equal. In body, they would share each others wounds and pains, any affect upon the body shall be shared, in equal. In soul, the bond caller shall determine the life force of the two, if the bond caller's soul dies, thus the bond caller, so shall the other's soul and body die as well.
Upon the bond callers body, a mark shall appear. The creature that is to be bonded shall choose its location and form, in a symbol of shared owning of each other. This mark will take the form of an aspect of the creature that is to bonded.
Aura pondered the passage for a moment. She could bond with Eclipse, he would share her life force, thus his existence would depend on her. No more fearing that her friend would be obliterated by a magic dispel or block of some sorts. But would the winged wolf agree to it?

Bastet shrugged finding him no threat in his current state. She stood over him checking for a pulse. Finding one, she figured he must be tired and picked him up and put him on a couch. Finding a blanket she tucked it around him, seeing that he was cold. She turned towards the library, "Aura! Come in here please!"
