Hiya, I'm Obscure_Shadow777 aka Jillness ^.^ I'm fairly new to conventions but I have been watching Anime since before I could walk lolz I am located in a location not far from Ft. Lauderdale ((Moonlight Penguin we have alot in common, i don't like Inuyasha either))

Hello, everyone!
I'm Rocket, the Queen of Dragons.
I am 18 years old (going to be 19 this year), & I'm in graduate school. Yes, you read that correctly, I have already graduated high school & college, & I'm really that young. I'm a friggin' genius. Hooray for me.
I requested to join this guild in the hopes that I can glean useful cosplay tips from others, as well as share my experiences. So far, I've only been to a handful of conventions, beginning with Jacon 200...something. I forgot. Then Megacon, & then Jacon the following year. I missed Megacon last year. crying
I'm going to be at Jacon on February 16, 17, & 18, hopefully. I might bring multiple costumes, in which case, you can easily identify me as the blonde, green kimono-clad kitsune spirit, or as Fushikidancho Hyunkeru, from the obscure DragonQuest manga. The latter costume will be my entry for the costume contest. Wish me luck. I'll post pictures later.
Fast random facts about me:
*I'm a martial artist, with a 3rd degree black belt in Songahm Taekwondo, & I'm a novice student of Wah Lum (Northern Mantis Style) Kung Fu.
*My favorite anime character is Frieza, from Dragonball Z. (Like you couldn't tell from my signature!)
*I tend to gravitate towards villains.
*I'm extremely double-jointed in my fingers.
*I loooooove dragons. I'm the Year of the Dragon.
*I can speak & write Japanese, though not fluently. I need more speaking practice. My writing is beautiful though, I'm told.
*I'm very cheap. Consequently, sometimes my costumes betray that, & my inexperience at crafting things. >_<0 If it ain't available in my area for a low price, I can't buy it. I don't shop online, either. I don't trust that method.
There are probably more things here that I need to put, but they escape me at the moment. Expect me to lurk & take polls, create interesting &/orcrazy polls & threads, & put my two cents in at any opportunity.

Hi, hi.
I'm Xerios (Also sometimes known as the Arad).
I'm 19 soon to be 20 this May.
I was at Metrocon '06 with my own Artist Alley table (a friend and I split the cost). I was Ino on Saturday and just wore my kimono on sunday 'cause I lost my pink hair dye needed to be Haruko. You may remember me as the girl who lost her Gaara plushie (I got it back at the end, though, happiness).
Um, my favorite anime right now is Deathnote and my favorite mangas are Naruto and the Demon Ororon (gawds, it made me cry).
This year I'm going to JACON, with costumes for all three days. I'm gonna be Waka from Okami, my Gaia Avatar, and Moegi from Naruto...maybe... I might be Deidara or Temari...haven't decided yet wether or not I want to dye my hair orange... sweatdrop
