Greed saw Maki nod so he began to say the words the spell contained. Maki was saying the words as he was but from the book. The spell took a couple of minutes to complete. "Thank you Maki for your help" Greed gently took the book from her and shut it and placed it back onto its shelf" Let us go outside and Ill show you what you helped me do" Greed began to walk out of the library

Maki still felt a bit excited that she was able to chant a spell. It was her first time doing anything magical yet her body felt as if it was vibrating on the inside, wondering if its something all magic users experienced when they cast a spell.
She followed Greed outside and her mouth dropped in awe.
"I did that?"

Greed looked up to see the barrier that they have cast over the island "Yes Maki you helped me do that" he kept looking at the barrier "The barrier will protect the island from intruders, only people who i have brought here will be able to enter through it, or if I bring them here. People like Whiteheart who came here in another way will not be able to get through it"

Maki looked around her, "Wow. That is awesome."
She jumped for joy of their accomplishment and then turned to Greed.
"Where to next?"

Greed looked at Maki "I could teach you to use magic, it might not be strong at first but with practice you could become a very powerful battle mage" he looked around the town then back at Maki " I dont know where to go now, I think back to the mountain where Katrea and I along with some others fought against Dark Tail"

Maki looked at Greed and nodded.
"When this business is all over. I would love to learn some basic magic," she said. Then think about their next destination.
"Yeah. If we went back to the mountains and look around we may find a solution to defeating darktail," Maki said then smiled. "And if he's still there ... then I lead a happy life ... now let's kick his butt."

"Well Im willing to teach you magic when you want" Greed thought to himself for a moment "Lets go back to the mountain and maybe we can get some clues to where we need to go next"

"Okay," replied Maki as she went to her room to retrieve her backpack and supplies then returned to the library. "I'm good to go."

Greed walked out of his manor followed by Maki. he took one more look around at his city then sighed "I will bring you all back no matter what the cost" Greed looked at Maki and placed his hand on her shoulder "Are you ready to see where Dark Tail was at last?"

The spirit of Greed appeared in his library in his manor. Placing his hand over a book, his spirit vanished to be sealed in the book with all of his knowledge and the extra spirits which were harbored into his body. They awaited the heir to open the book and grant him thier knowledge and power. The book sat in the library awaiting to be opened

In the depths of Shadow Island where the great spirit statues once resided a portal appeared from the ground. Rising from the portal was Zetsuei, the son of Greed. As he walked off the portal it vanished and began to make his way up to the ruined city. He sensed two items on the island that were calling him and he knew exactly what they were and one of them wasnt meant for him.

After making his way up to the ruined city he followed the calls he heard in his head untill it led him into a house a the far end of the city. Walking into the house he went up to the second floor and went into a giant library. Looking around he looked for what called him, finally he found out what had been calling it. It was a book in which he sensed his fathers spiritual energy. Grabbing the book, it began to glow as he opened it and the pages were turning very fast as if he was reading. After the pages reached the end a stream of energy flowed from the book to Zetsuei's chest. He was being given Greed's knowledge, and the spirits that were in Greed's body when he died. the book lost its glow as the stream of energy vanished, placing the book back into the shelf
"Thank you father, thank yo for this extra chance at life."
He walked over to another shelf that was filled with books and pushed he releaving a room with a couple of books and a sword mounted above the three books. Grabbing the sword he knew what it was, it was a blade that was given to his father by the cetra in ancient times. He held it in his hand as he touched the books and absorbed the knowledge they contained, walking out of the room he had the cetra blade in his hand and put the book case back in place.
"I guess I should look around and see what else I can salvage from here"

As he walked out into the city, he saw a shop that was in ruins. He felt something pulsing from the ruins and as he walked over he saw a chest that was decorated with a human male fighting dragons. Pulling one of his guns out of his holster he shot the lock which shatter.
"I wonder what is inside"
He placed the cetra sword in a slot in his belt, and he bent down to lift the lid of the chest. As he opened the chest a light flashed and as it faded revelaed a sword. where the blade and the hilt connected a dragon head kept them together. The blade its self was formed with a combniation of an old unbreakable metal and dragon's teeth. Zetsuei knew this was a sword for a dragon knight.
"Yes, father I know who you wanted this blade to go to."
He lifted thew blade out of the chest and took the sheath out as well and sheathed the sword and slid it over his shoulder.
"Now, I wait"
