Lorelei calmed down a bit.
Sighing, she told herself it's alright, it didn't touch her.
Looking at Yoru, new worry overcame her as she continued to go towards him.
She knelt by him, even though Echolia was only a step or two away it didn't matter. Yoru was hurt and even though they barely met a few hours ago, she couldn't help feeling miserable over it.
"Yoru, when did you get these wounds?", she managed to say, now starting to get teary eyed.
"Oh these", also having trouble speaking, the pain worsened, "I was..being punished recently...for disobeying orders".
OOC: I meant stone as in gem. Think that Lorelei's power is strong enough to heal deep wounds (or at least to make them not so deep)?

Echolia then tried to grab Lorelei. Malvin saw this. He knew lorelei was Vertaia's friend. Clenching his right hand, he slammed it into Echolia's face.
Wham!
She reeled and let out a bestial scream. As she did so, Malvin winced. Her scream hurt his ear drums. blood streamed out of his left ear.

A golden necklace with magical harp pendant appears in front of Lorelei.
It mentally tells her it is called the Lyrical Divinity. It also tells her that it can create a sound that can blow an enemy off his/her feet and the music it generates can also make vampires and mermaids sleep.

Lorelei grabbed the necklace, she felt a power surge in her fist.
She stood up and started to sing a spell. Even though it was faint, the power of the golden necklace enhanced it and her song blew away Echolia even deeper into the cave.
She went to Yoru again and sang:
"Heal the wound, make anew the flesh.
Take away the scar,
Make the blood regress.
Salutem Revertar"!
Slowly his deeper wounds became less so and the rest were completely healed.
"Thank you", Yoru said to Lorelei, his breathing was becoming more at ease.

Malvin saw that Lorelei had sung and made Echolia fly away.
He smiled and then ran towards a groaning Vertaia who awoke.

With Lorelei help. Yoru was able to sit up.
"I feel like I've been hit with a ton of bricks", Yoru said, still holding on to his side. "But it's not so bad with you around", he said, this made Lorelei blush.
"Eh...uhm...y-you are..w-welcome", Lorelei forced out. She looked into the direction where Echolia was launched at, wondering what happened to her.
Remembering the golden necklace, she tried to put it around her neck, Yoru noticed she was having some trouble so helped.
I wish my face would stop burning...how embarrassing,she thought, blushing even more.
Shaking her head she looked at the other direction, "Um, Malvin? How is Vertaia's state? And what of that young girl?", referring to Enid, "How do you feel?"

enid blinked. "I feel fine. but Vertaia is not..."
Vertaia was staring at her hands. But she saw nothing.
Her sensibility and sanity had come back, but now... she was blind.
"I... I can't see... Malvin? Malvin... where are you?" Vertaia whispered and she bit her lips, trying not to scream in horror.
She stood up and took a step forward. Enid pulled her back.
Vertaia screamed in fear and nearly punched Enid. However, her fist stopped an inch away from Enid's face when Enid spoke.
"Sorry, cousin. You nearly touched a dark stone."
Vertaia blinked and took a deep breath.
"I... I see. Sorry for ... panicking."
Malvin looked stunned.
"You... you can't see?" He ran towards Vertaia.
"Damn it. What kind of crazy spell did your mother cast?" Malvin asked and clenched his right hand.
Vertaia was confused.
"It seemed to be a love spell... but now... it seems to be a blinding spell..." Vertaia whispered. She clung to Malvin, feeling lost.

"Ver-Vertaia cannot see?!", Lorelei said, here body quivering with a mixture of sadness and anger.
That-that FIEND! How could she do that, to her own daughter nonetheless!, she thought, looking again at the direction that Echolia had been flung to.
Yoru, on the other hand, stifled a smile from his lips, Not only was she dumb but also blind, ha, her mother has quiet a sense of humor, he thought.
Then another thought crossed his mind and he spoke out loud, "So...Vertaia is it? By the mere sound of my voice, any trace of having the need to lounge at me is gone....completely?".
Lorelei looked at him with a stern face for a moment, but then realized what he meant. "I too am curious as to know if you remember if Malvin even exists?", she said, more worry showing on her face.

Vertaia was about to answer when she suddenly opened and closed her mouth several times...
Without speaking.
Vertaia stomped on the ground . She tried to scream. She failed. Tears brimmed in her eyes and she signaled desperately and fearfully at her throat.
"Now you can't speak?!" Malvin made a fist and frowned, his rage increasing with each second.
Vertaia nodded.
"But you do remember me right?" Vertaia nodded again.
"What about Yoru? Was your affection for him true?" Vertaia shook her head and clung to Malvin. She then kissed Malvin and tears fell down her cheeks.
"Are you angry at him?" Vertaia shook her head. Her face was red. She did recall the effects of the love spell and her insanity of rage. While her reasons for yelling at him were valid, her reasons for forcing affection on him was not. she did have an urge to apologize for both things... She was not a person who lost her temper so easily. She was not a person who would cheat on her beloved...
Sheer regret, fear and anger whirled in her head.
Only one person could be blamed.
Echolia... her b***h of a mother.
What was going to happen now?
Her DA was still broken and she felt an extreme amount of anxiety and helplessness.
What next? a loss of hearing? touch? smell? Death? Madness?Misery? What...what would happen to her now?

Lorelei and Yoru both starred at Vertaia, one with a mixture of sorrow and anger then the latter was relieved yet surprised.
"Malvin", Lorelei began, "we have yet to obtain the gem necessary to repair Vertaia's device. Would doing so help ease the effects of the obvious curse laid upon her?"
"Or would it just make things worse, seeing as to this cave is not exactly what anyone would call ordinary", Yoru chimed in. "The effect of the Witch's curse might actually grow sever if we fix that thing, since it deals with magic. Maybe it'll be better to find a cure first then fix it, not like she would die if it stayed broken for a minute longer", he asked in earnest curiosity, no malice behind the words whatsoever for his Fae's sake.

Enid was not sure and she spoke to Malvin, Lorelei and Yoru about her opinion.
Malvin frowned. That b***h... needed to die.
An angry loud scream was heard from a distance.
But what was shouted was clear.
"All five of you will die! die! die!"
Vertaia shuddered.

"Don't you ever shut up, you crazy old hag?!", Yoru bellowed out.
"She is using up the last ounce of patience I have, hey you, Malvin, can't we do anything about her? Lorelei can stay here with the other one while we kick her a-", but Lorelei butted in.
"And do what? You are in no shape to fight, there is still a gaping hole of a wound on your side and you plan to fight?! It will surely open up again, just look at all the blood that you have lost!", she said, her face reddening with frustration and eyes shining with tears.
Yoru couldn't stand the sight, looking away towards the cavern walls.
"Then what, you can't expect for us to stay here any longer. The old Witch is about to do something, you heard her. If those two", pointing at Malvin and Enid, "and I joined forces, we could easily take her out".
"I know but....", she started, biting her lower lip. They needed a way out...but how?

Lorelei stayed quiet. She did not continue with the points she saw.
"So, how should we go about this?", said Yoru.
"I could stay behind with Vertaia if you wish. In the cave we came from, morbunnies took reign. In case anything were to be lurking here I could keep it away from her with the power of this necklace", Lorelei said.
"What do you two think", Yoru said, nodding to Malvin and Enid.

Malvin ran to her side.

"I'll stay, if I went I would be a burden for Yoru, since he seems keen on protecting me", Lorelei said.
Yoru wanted to argue with her on what she meant by that, but he decided to say, "I agree, since my Fae has a great affection for the girl. And she can heal her if anything"
