Nick sat calmly and watched as Reika questioned the man, hit him and then stormed out. She raised an eyebrow at the scene, but did little else. She then gave her attention to Astara and the bird when the hawk let out a screech. When Aji spoke, she stood up and dusted herself off as she replied, "Don't know", she said as she excused herself and made her way out of the room. As far as she knew, she had known Reika the longest so she was entitled to go see if she was doing all right.
Nick walked up quietly behind Reika and took a seat next to her on the stairs, "You all right?", she asked as she crossed her arms and leaned forward a bit, resting them on her legs.

Reika heard the door shut and felt someone come up to her. She tensed up, ready to hurt something or someone. When she heard Nick's voice, she calmed a bit. "No," she replied in a tired tone, lifting her head just enough to be heard. "He didn't answer my question."

"Okay," she answered. Hawk was quiet, but restless with the lack of movement.

"I almost think he lied just to get me to take off the tape and make me mad." Reika sighed deeply and quickly got up, trying to look perky. However, that only accentuated the fact that she looked a little more tired than normal. "Well, we can only stay out here so long until eveybody else starts worrying." Like they're not already. "Let's go." With that, Reika went back inside. Looking at the man, she saw a bruise blossoming on his forehead. She winced at herself for her viciousness and sat down opposite him on the floor, waiting for him to wake up.

Reika looked up, a little startled at not having noticed her before. "Um, no. I'm just waiting for this guy to wake back up. Of course, I'm not quite sure when that will be."

"Thanks." Reika smiled at Aji and then pointed her sword at the man's throat this time. "Good afternoon," she said as he woke up. "You did not answer my last question. Were you sent to capture me?"
He replied, "Yes, but not for the Shapers. We need Solara's power to save us from destruction."
Reika looked at him blankly for a moment. "So why are you attacking me? I am not this 'Solara' you seek."
The man narrowed his eyes as her stared her back in the eye. "You lie. I don't know what you have told these women, or what happened to you, but there's no mistaking your golden aura. You are most definitely Solara."
Reika said in a low voice, more to herself than to anyone else. "Poor man's gone mad." Continuing in a normal voice she asked, "For the sake of argument, if I am the one called 'Solara,' why would you shoot me with a deadly poison?"
"I have the antidote. I wasn't expecting to be attacked by a giant panther."
She re-taped his mouth, effectively stopping any talk of "Solara." "b*****d. I still could've died." After a few moments of thought she stood up. "I will deal with him later. For now, I'm coveed with blood and I don't like it. Someone watch him for me. please." She took off all her weapons but the one strapped to her arm and left the room, heading for the hot spring.
