Blossom refused to let the passive challenge slip.
"No, thank you." Her voice was steady and her gaze neutral, but she knew that in the back of her eyes, fire raged. She took in Angel's innocent, wide eyes and smiling insincerity, looking for cracks in her armor.
Her wrist, Blossom noted, was positioned to put her bruise on display when she could have easily hidden it. It was a show, an act, a game, but that wasn't news to Blossom.
"I'd love some!" The Professor chirped, blissfully unaware of his daughter's cold appraising stare and the witch that was serving him like any good daughter.

"Of course, sir." Angelica smiled and passed the salad bowl and tongs to him. "Do you take ranch with it? I completely forgot to grab it."

~I'd like to grab it and shove it up your nose..~ Buttercup's violent thoughts rambles on in her head. She didn't have any reason to speak, but she had the will to. Though, she didn't and stayed silent, just as her sister.

"If it's no trouble, dear." The Professor smiled, kind and indulgent. Blossom didn't know if she should cry of vomit. Angel had her father wrapped around her finger, and she knew it. He trusted her innocence, her open features, her manners.
She had to use every inch of her might to keep from screaming in frustration. She squeezed Buttercup's hand in desperation. They were stuck on a tiny raft in a sea of evil. Blossom could feel the hate, the pain, the darkness all around this house. But, it seemed like she and her sister were the only ones who could.

"I'll be right back." She got up to get the ranch. Her father was busy with the finishing touches as she grabbed the ranch from the fridge. She calmly walked back to the table and watched as Blossom seethed. She kept her giddiness under wraps. She just needed to charm the Professor and Bubbles, and soon Blossom and Buttercup would follow. "Here you are, Professor," she said.

Buttercup silently gulped, then leaned over to Blossom while Angel wasn't looking and whispered "Blossom... I honestly think that this girl may be the evilest, most deprived, cunning and conniving enemy we've faces yet. " She felt her sister's grip tightening around her hand, and squeezed back. "I can't believe the Professor doesn't know how evil she is. I mean, we've been fighting evil from the day we were born." Buttercup couldn't grasp the meaning of it all. ~It's just not fair... it really isn't! How can he NOT notice her?~ Buttercup thought while the blonde girl set things up. At this moment, nothing made sense.

"He doesn't see it. Bubbles doesn't see it. Her parents don't see it. I don't know why." Blossom watched as Angel left before returning to her sister.
"She has something in mind for us, some sort of play. I know it. I can feel it. I have no idea what it is though." She shook her head faintly, flicking her eyes to the Professor who was happily pouring Ranch on his salad after Angel's unfortunate return.
"But, three can play at this game." She said under her breath with the tiniest of smiles in Buttercup's direction.

Bubbles turned back and sighed and looked at Lil now "I don't understand that....She seems so-"

Bubbles quickly walked back to the house and knocked on the door softly...mabey a bus would hit her...no-anyways...her sisters would come out of nowhere and save her life....

Blossom heard the knock and could see Bubbles through the window in the dining room. She stayed seated. Bubbles would just ruin everything and make it more complicated. She needed to go home.
Blossom shot Buttercup a telling glance, not wanting her sister to do anything either. If Angel let her in, then she would play the surprised sister. But, for now, she would simply think.

"What are looking at, Blossom?" Angelica asked, as she sat down. She looked to see for herself. "Oh, my gosh! Bubbles!" She jumped up and nearly ran to the door. She answered the door for the blonde superheroine. "Bubbles! It's so nice that you came! I was wondering where you were."

Buttercup looked at Blossom and nodded, not looking at the window or anything near it. However when Angel saw her and let her in, she covered her face and groaned, cursing under her breathe. "What a night.. I might just have to run away back to Townsville after tonight." she whispered so Blossom could hear, since she was on the corner and her father was on the far end of the table, next to Blossom as well.
