Aden slipped his arm around her slim furry form. He let her scent overwhelm him. He nuzzled against her neck and drifted into sleep.

Sunlight peeked through the window and woke Kira up. Staring bleakely at the canopy above her head, she rolled over and buried her nose in Aden's chest. Breathing deep, she slips out of the bedd and proceeds to get dressed. walking out to the main part of the lab she puts the tea kettle on the fire and begins to work on mass producing the poison antidote, and completing the vaccine for the vampire venom.
"the work can continue now, and I can finally reopen the store."

Aden felt his love slip out of bed and opened his eyes, starting longingly after her. He tried to get up and felt his limbs were stiff again, and he was having a hard time moving. He decided to sleep it off and closed his eyes, Kira's scent still lingering and her warmth permeating the sheets on the bed.

Aden, Are you awake? Cuz we need to talk.
Kira prepared a pair of energy drinks, and placed them on a tray. Carrying them into the bedroom, She sits on the edge of the bed, and begins to sip on hers.
"You feeling any better?"

It's not what's wrong, It's what's right. Aden, we have a few things facing us. Us being one of them. I love you. I can't deny it. And I'm scared to death of what would happen if I lost you. You mean the world to me, so Please, try not to get yourself so greviously hurt again.
Tears welled up in her eyes, and started to pour over her cheeks
"I can't lose you Aden. I've lost too much in my years, I can't lose you too."

Adenar saw a crystalline tear stream down Kira's fur, and the thought that she was scared to lose him gave him strength of will... but soon turned from strength into regret. He never wanted her to cry because of him. He had been so worried about his mission and protecting Kira that he put the most important aspect of her life in harms way, almost irreparably. Leaning over to he he placed his hand on her face, wiping the tears from her cheeks. He leaned further in and gave her a passionate kiss, only allowing their lips to part so he could say, " I was a fool to think I could protect you and the others as one man... I'm so sorry my love."

Her paw flies up and caresses his
"Aden, Don't go alone again. Please. There is strength in numbers, and I have faith in your skills, but you are not alone in this, and you should never have to act alone"
She breathed deeply, sampling his scent and memorizing it. Exhaling softly, she smiles
"But you're tired, and should be getting your rest."

Adenar took a glass from the tray and downed the mixture in a matter of seconds. The act would have appeared disgusting if not for the fact that he did so in the most graceful and polite way possible. "I will be fine, stay with me... for just a while longer." Aden slid an arm around her waist and kissed her neck softly other hand caressing her back with his fingertips.

Adenar held her tight, stunned at her thoughts. After a minute of lying against the cool headboard with her in his arms Aden smiled softly. Always so scientific... Yes, my love, I would be the happiest I have ever been... Though my house is too small for a family... We could sell it and use the money to renovate the back of the shop, and add a second floor. Aden slid down off the headboard to rest on the pillows, Kira in his arms. He kissed her head and breathed in her entrancing scent. Her fur was soft against his skin and even though the shop was cold, her warmth was all he needed.

"Then I will ask Aracela the next time I See her. As for renovating the shop, that might be a good Idea. I can start peddling potions in the market, help us save up as well. Although Selling your house, Are you sure you would be willing to give up a place of your own?"

Adenar caressed her softly still, speaking in quiet low tones.

Then you have a place here in the shop. As long as you need it, this bed is now yours, this room, is now yours. And you will always have a warm place to go, Should you ever need.
Kira Began to purr happily.
"I am proud of you. Congratulations, I knew you had it in you. You are no longer a soldier, this calls for a celebration!"
In the background the teakettle begins to howl, sounding eerily like a wolf
"Well, that's my cue. Time to get that tea made."

Adenar let he slip away for the tea, catching he hand for a moment to kiss it and say, "I just want you to know... being a defender of the pack may put me in situations where I may be gone for years or die... I did not want to worry you... but you needed to know." His face looked pained...
