*sits in chair and starts concentrating on her hand. she notices her nails growing. This startles her and she jumps* WOAH! I didnt know I could do that...*puts hand down and looks around* I hope no one saw that.

Heh. For me, you can sum it all up in two words. "Fire power." It's a very horrible memory to tell you the truth. I mean...I just wanted to ask directions but when I touched the guys shoulder...POOF! I mean...it was stop, drop, and roll for that guy. I didn't MEAN to set him on fire...

oh my goodness! That'd be a horrible way to find out something about yourself. For me it would be anyway. Im glad mine was a small thing in a small way.

*nods* Yeah well...that definately wasn't the LAST time I would set someone on fire. It's just...well...when I get really excited sometimes I can't control myself. I almost burnt down a town once. Good thing my twin brother was nearby. He was always there for me...until we got seperated anyway. His water and ice powers could usually put out my fires. I don't even remember the last time I saw him...*sigh*

I don't usually tell people but since you asked...I guess I have no choice. Our territory was wraught with terror and war. Many of our people were killed but some of us managed to get away. My brother and I were among them. No one told us of our powers. I suppose it was because they were to remain hidden until we got older. Only when we reached the age of 63 did we discover our individual powers. I never trained, but he did. He always got at me for not doing it but I didn't listen. Some demons attempted to take over our cave so we tried to fight them. We ended up fleeing. My brother claimed he was going to go back and fight them. He promised me he'd come back...and yet...I never saw him again. I like to think that he's still alive and that maybe he'll come back for me some day, but with all my moving and training I don't even see how that's possible. I doubt he would even recognize me anyway...
But...with everything that's happened to me, I generally try to be happy. I think it's the only thing that's kept me going these past few years. Optimism.

*over hears their conversation.* well i guess i have it pretty easy compared to you guys... i have always known i had fire powers and great speed... what i didn't know was i could summon a fire phoenix... that was a disaster when i found that out....

heh... it's actually quite funny.... i was out practicing my double flaming sword technique when some dork attacked me... it was a guy and like most other guys he was a pervert.... he took me somewhere.. i still don't know where and he was gonna make me his "Own". By this time i was ticked off... he had me in restraints i couldn't break with fire... he thought he'd be smart and grab my chest.... that took it too far for my liking... i started to glow red, flames all over me.. and suddenly, a phoenix made of fire shot out of my body and attacked the man... i was broken out of my restrants and i found my way back home... somehow...
