Alex chuckled and took the phone, "Thanks Miss Ellison, i'll see you tomorrow. Report here in the morning right?" He looked through his recent calls and his eyes widdened, "Crap! Im sorry, i have to go right now. It's urgent." He turned and ran out as he was dialing a number. "Hello? Ms Sanchez? Please, come on! I'll be there in 10! I was held up at school."

Lake Ellison Lake smiled at Alex. "Alright, I will see you tomorrow. Sorry for the holdup." She sighed as he left, then picked up Hayate's papers and walked to the copy machine in the office. Even the secretaries had already left. She really didn't like to be alone, but there wasn't much she could do about that. Well, at least she had tomorrow, as well as Hayate's birthday to look forward to, right?

Natsuhiko returned Chris's smile warmly "Sure I'm alright even though your a little to close for comfort." She let out a small laugh for whenever Chris decided to tilt his head he reminded her of a puppy who doesn't understand a simple trick.

Natsuhiko nodded and couldn't resist the temptation. She ran her fingers through Chris's hair before patting him on the head. It was soft and...fluffy. She smiled "I kind of expected you would say something like that." She continued running her fingers through his head "Good boy."

Natsuhiko stopped scratching Chris's head. She was already thinking of how to dress him in a doggy costume and enter him in a dog show. I wonder if the Judges would realize it's a human? She was snapped from her thought at the sound of her name. "Yeah Chris" She asked trying to decide between a black with white spots costume or a brown costume.

Natsuhiko paled a little and weak sheepish smile on her face.she quickly removed her hand from his head "Sorry... my mistake" She straitened the bow around her neck "And I wasn't drifting off into my own world." she retorted quickly and defensively.

Noelle Frost Noelle put down her pencil and closed the textbook. She just couldn't focus on her calculus homework tonight. Too much weird stuff had happened at school today. She pushed back her desk chair and got up. After a moment of thinking, she grabbed her coat and walked to the front door. "Mom, I'm going for a walk to clear my head," she called. Her mother poked her head out from the kitchen, where she had been washing dishes. "Be careful. It's getting dark," she said. "You still do have that pepper spray I gave you, right?" Noelle smiled grimly and patted a pocket of her coat, where the small can of pepper spray was hidden. Her mother smiled and Noelle walked out the door. "Have a good time!" Noelle's mother said the instant Noelle closed the door. Noelle inhaled the fresh air gratefully and began to walk.

Kain sighed. After getting his schedule at school today, he had come home and started unpacking the boxes for his new room. It had dark blue walls with a grey carpet. Two windows were placed on the east wall of the room facing the front yard and his curtains, which matched the wall color, were closed. Opposite was a queen size bed, adjacent to the wall lengthwise. His door was at the foot of the bed and in the south-west corner. He had a table at the other end with a laptop and drawing board on it. There were two sliding doors to the closet that sat behind the whole north wall. His dresser sat in between the two windows and his two full bookshelves were sitting on the southern wall. The room was nice and all but Kain was utterly bored. He couldn't wait for school to start tomorrow. Then he could meet some people, get some phone numbers and talk after school. Not to mention, his parents got their internet installed tomorrow. His computer would once again be useful.
