Hearing a loud crash back at the town snapped Emeriss out of her stupor. In a panic, she flew back toward the little settlement as quickly as possible, diving down and landing by the edge of the town. The balor had done a good job of razing the area, but he left an abhorrent amount of blood strewn about the building walls and paths. The stench was horrendous. Since she was making some sort of attempt to drive the enemy out, she elected to search out her summoned assistant rather than take off. She began to walk into the town, looking around through the carnage in search of him.

Hrothgar flinched, hearing a loud crash in the direction of the town. He glanced over in that direction then turned to Kujaku who was clearly leaving. "W-wait, I was just messing around. Wait up!", he called out as he began to jog after Kujaku to catch up. Obsidion though in a bit of lag did the same.

Emeriss stammered about the wreckage of the town looking for either the one balor she summoned or anything that was still alive. She ran across many corpses, but much to her chagrin the demon had gone off and massacred anything that he could cut into. It didn't matter if they were captured civilians or enemy troops. This didn't so much bother her for the lost lives of native fire nationers but mostly what came to mind is this could be a political firestorm. She begun to sweep the village more carefully.

It took a few minutes of searching, but Emeriss finally found her wayward would be minion toward the edge of the village. As she approached she could only watch as the demon lifted another civilian by the head and crushed his skull in hand. Emeriss waved her arms and called out to him in infernal. "Hey! What are you doing?"
"Killing." He replied in infernal language rather nonchalantly. He dropped the corpse and swatted it away with his tail before he began to walk off in search of more people.
"I can see that! You weren't supposed to kill everybody!", She cried as she followed after him. "Only the guys in..." She snatched a scrap of uniform from an air officer that had their emblem on it, and held it up to the balor. "...This symbol!"
"You didn't give any stipulations like that." he complained, shrugging his shoulders. He rested his sword over his shoulder and leaned forward looking down at Emeriss.
"You took off before I could say anything!", She screamed in frustration.
"Yeah," He said proudly, "Relax, it's a big world, you can snack on souls in another town."
Emeriss slumped over in exhaustion and irritation as she sighed, "That's not the point..."

The balor began to walk off in search of more people to slay. He spotted a young man attempting to flee and charged after him. The demon took his fiery whip from his belt and lashed at the human, catching him by the ankle and igniting him with the flames of the whip as it wrapped around the man's leg.
Emeriss continued to follow after the balor attempting to stop him one more time. "Wait!"
The balor approached the man and stuck him in the back with his sword before turning to Emeriss and putting his weapons away. He growled in irritation with her, "I am getting tired of you constantly flapping your jaw at me." He grunted in infernal as he reached down and picked her up with one hand.
Emeriss squirmed and struggled to get free of his grasp but just like last time, it seemed unlikely unless she was set free. It began to sink in just how much she was in over her head.
"I find it... pathetic that you take such pity on the weak beings of this realm." He lifted her closer to his eye to inspect her face more closely. "You've lived amongst these miserable creatures for too long." He tossed her down to the dirt below and turned to get back to what he was doing.
Emeriss took a tumble across the ground stopping against the side of a damaged house. She lied there a bit beat up and mentally tired from this losing argument.

Hearing a rather large footstep nearby, Emeriss sat up and rose to one knee. The foot in front of her was that of one of the other balors she summoned. Apparently he had returned for one reason or another.
"Hey, Succubus", he managed to work in while gnawing on what looked to be a human arm, "I brought ya something." He held out what appeared to be a little glowing blue orb of flame. "Go on, take it!"
Emeriss took the orb with both hands knowing exactly what it was. Though it was a bit large for its size, Emeriss took the sphere in one hand and stuffed the whole thing into her mouth, taking some time to chew on it.
The balor took the arm from his jaws, tearing away some of the meat in the process. "Hmm... I see why you like this realm. Must be an all you can eat buffet for your type." He didn't seem to mind his snack but the texture made chewing quite a chore. "Though the meat in these things is kinda tough and chewy."
Emeriss held up a hand signifying that she needed a moment to finish eating. Once she did, she took a deep breath and dusted her hands off. "Well sure, Mother mentioned something like that once. The party's over if we're discovered though. And your friend got a little carried away." She gestured to the preemptive attacker off in the distance.
"Yeah, he does that a lot.", he said freely, taking a final bite from the arm. All that was left was bone and bits of torn muscle on the upper and lower arm and a semi charred hand.
Emeriss stood up and stretched out her arms overhead, feeling a much better after having a good meal. Before she could even take a step she felt a powerful surge from within. "Wh-Where did you get that soul?"
"From this guy.", he said, holding up the cleaned arm bones. "Some fighter from the coastline. What difference does it make? souls are souls."

Illusion landed her horse on the mountain tops. Why had they come? To ensure that, she had brought her usual companions/warriors with her. She was dressed in leather, which was much easier to fly in. She began to descend the mountain peak by peak until she ws nearly as the base where it was much hotter. Fire's lands were almost inconquerable without the aid of magic. Same as her land, or most of water's. Come ot think of it, Earth is more than the most vulenrable. She thought as she began to scout the area for fire intruiders.

Moriarty and Katczinski landed softly on their feet, looking dully around. "I hope we don't run into that ice wielding jerk again." Morr said with a humph. "People always think they're so great."

Artemis landed silently a time after the others. Her horse wasn't as fast and needed a few breaks along the way. The air was hot and thick and she had to pump air into her lungs in order to get a real breath. She trodded across the land, searching for anybody or anything of importance.

"No, you're right..." Emeriss replied, hiding her expression from the somewhat more reasonable balor. She heard some loud thumping as the first one who ran off and attacked interrupted by running up to her.
"Alright, what's next? This place is empty!" he grunted, putting away his weapons.
"You're covered in blood. Did you enjoy yourself?"
"Damn straight! It's never fun unless blood showers from the sky!"
"Ugh! You killed everybody didn't you?"
"Everybody I found." he said smugly folding his arms. "Hmm..." Out of the corner of his eye, he thought he spotted something descending not too far off in the sky. A grin of sharp teeth ran across his face as he turned and stormed off.

Illusion opened her wings and slowly glided through the mountains, searching behind large boulders, searching the entrances of caves. She knew that people could be hiding in them, but she had no wish to travel deep into the earth to find them. They may accidentally stumble onto any ancient dark elementalists who had been lost to time itself! And she had no wish to meet the demons they might have become over the centuries. So she kept searching. As a warm breeze went by she caught the words swept from someone's mouth, who must be nearby. However, it was an older breeze, and she could not make out the noise. So we are not alone as I has hoped.. She thought unhappily, but all the same she continued to scout.

To Illusions surprise, a soft light started to glow from above her as she was flying. When she looked up, she would see Tassen.
"You are a princess, so why are you flying by yourself?" He himself had descended from a cloud, hiding himself from view. "I had heard that you might be in need of some more help?" His voice echoed in her mind as it had before, whenever he speaks in his dragon form.

Illusion nodded happily. "You should know that I'm usually being followed by Kat, who is usually my personal shadow of power. But I have sent them to patrol as well, and I never thought that just because of my title, that I would need to fly with someone else. But you're right. We aren't at home now are we?" She thought back. "Yes, I need more help than I thought I would. Even if fire is not here there are rumors that they will try to regain their mountains. And even if they don't, they've gained half of earth, and water is rumored to be creating an army now too."

As Tassen flew, his wingspan easily encompassed (Spread wider than) Illusion. "Flying is always so... relaxing..." He sounded like he was taking a moment to enjoy himself before he went to business.
"So. You're telling me that we have Fire to worry about, and soon water. Two nations against us. Are we ready for that?" He was directing his thoughts to only Illusion, so there was no chance his part of the conversation would be overheard, unless that person was very skilled in mind abilities. "Do we have enough defence to hold back such a massive force?" He was sounding forlorn for a moment, when something hit him.
"Why fight two armies though... when we can have them do the fighting for us?" He left the thought there as the thought some more while in flight.

"Grrr! Where is he going now?" Emeriss half started after the one who stormed off but she paused after a few steps and looked back. She heard some low loud flapping like something heavy flying in at a low altitude.
The last balor returned, flying in low and dropping out of the air with a loud thud as he landed. Apparently he had found something to do. There were a few new skulls on his belt and he was a bit scuffed up. "Hey! Tethir! Succubus! Still hanging around this washout town?"
"I have a name." Emeriss pouted folding her arms, rolling her eyes, and sighing.
"Yes, that's nice." he retorted shrugging it off. As his gaze met his friend tethir, he looked up in the same direction toward the sky spotting something flying off in the distance toward the higher mountain peaks. "The hell is that?"
"I believe they're called dragons. Probably what Rundas ran after." Tethir muttered calmly. he folded his arms and turned a bit, facing away from that direction and now to his comrade.
"Well no worries. If it's hostile it'll drop in on us soon. Even from a bird's eye view, guys like us are hard to miss in a busted out village." He stretched out his arms and wings at once popping a few joints in his arms as he did so. "Hey Succubus? How much longer do we have?"
"MY NAME IS EMERISS!" She shrieked rather irately at the currently nameless balor.
