Lazy people! Literacy knows no vacation! It is a way of life, a constant. Failing to adhere to proper grammar as often as you can help it is against all that is wholesome and admirable, most especially if you already know this fact to be true. Ignorance can only excuse you once, but you don't have that excuse!
I must be one of those grammar Nazis I hear so much about. Perhaps I should put on a hat and run a dictatorship around here. Anyone caught not capitalizing gets shot on the spot with a sniper rifle by my ninja hiding in the bushes behind your window. ninja

Caloric means having to do with calories.. I didn't ask for the definition, so I thought it was coloric or something. Because he said it like cuh-ler-ic. crying Anyway, if your second language is English, what's your first?

He has an army of mutant brownies.. I think that's immense enough. o.O Anyway, Saturnos, it's kind of selfish of you to say such things. It's the internet, and if someone chooses to type a certain way, you shouldn't be mean just because it annoys you. It's you who needs to change something, not Lynnie. Just try to be more accepting of other people and less irritated by things. All I'm saying is, it's impossible to control everyone on the internet, so getting used to it would be a good thing.

Actually I kinda agree with him. I do my best to be literate(buit we all know thats falling misserably). It really dose get anoying when people simple type something like THWFSIGDH and it means how the hell are you xp

How about this for an example?
hello my name is brolem and i like slash i really like ks and mg i dont like kf or hl because they are het i love to write fan fiction which makes people hot reading it because of its high ratings i have a friend who writes better and has partially converted anime chan to ks
To me, capitals and periods are important. I learned in grade 1 that without them, it looks like it's all one long sentence. If people wrote like that to me, I'd die from trying to decypher their horrible writing... Oh ya, about the Grammar Nazi idea, I like it >:3

Yes! Brolem understands me! We actually have something in common! Also remember, people with good literacy live longer and are more likely to win the lottery. And I also am raising an army of mutant rats with laser beams on their heads, so don't throw my rule over the internet out the window just yet. Until the forces of good somehow defeat me and my cheating ways, spell, capitalize, punctuate! Or else. ninja + sniper rifle

Lol.. I totally agree with the punctuation thing.. That's really annoying, even more annoying than chat speak. Anyway, all I'm saying is, lots of people choose not to capitalize casual messages, and that it shouldn't be such a big deal.

Sorry, Saturnos, but you're a**l. If it seriously means that much to you, I'll just capitalize everything. Since you seem to get upset over such little s**t like a big letter after a period and a big 'I', then I'll just type properly constantly. I think you need to learn to cope with little s**t like that. That's all I'm gonna say. Let's leave it at that.

I'm afraid not. I cannot allow things stand as they are. Apparently, you believe I am angry at you, so in turn you have demonstrated extreme discourtesy. You're overexaggerating the situation in an attempt to rationalize your mistake, calling me a**l along with the use of the rather primitive word "s**t". Instead of accepting the critizism and learning from it, you defend yourself, which of course is the more common reaction. Nobody likes to admit they are wrong; I certainly don't, so I don't blame you for doing likewise. I am not upset with you, but obviously are upset with me. Therefore, I must do something to make amends, because I realize making enemies with the guild creator is not very wise. To preserve the peace, I shall concede whatever point you wish to make of this confrontation unconditionally. The mistake is mine, and I was wrong to accuse you. I humbly offer my deepest apologies to you. I beg your forgiveness.

I just want to forget about it. It shouldn't even have gotten to this point that we're talking back and forth about it. I'm not saying I was right, but I just wanted you to understand that I don't use capitalization when I type casually. It's something I didn't think you had to point out or be aggitated by.-You know what? I was gonna type more about the subject, but now I'm just bored by it. This is just really stupid and I blame myself for letting it go so far. Just don't feel I have something against you now, Saturnos, because I don't. Our friendship (if you think I'm allowed to call it that) is no different from what it was before.
So anyway, since you were the one to mention the idea and your critisim is.. constructive, why don't you go ahead and start that "RP Improvement" thread?
And Hanako.. I think it's spelled like: seurkraut
...which is bizarre. xp
