Slowly, shakily, Felicia rose to her feet. She soon regretted it, as with conciousness came the awareness of the splitting headache she now possessed. "Ugh..." she groaned, feeling sick. What had they done to her?
Surprisingly, she could see or feel no real difference. Confused, she leaned against the bars. She immediately let out a yelp, as instead of being held up by the bars of her cell, she fell right through them!
It was as if the cage did not exist! Half of Felicia's body now stood outside of the cell! She hurridly drew herself back in. "Wha....what on Earth?" she pronounced, looking curiously at her hands. Once again, everything seemed normal.
But then, as if in cheeky response to that thought, her skin turned a bright shade of fuschia! Felicia let out another strangled yelp as she drew back, afraid to look at herself. "What the heck is going on?!" she cried, her skin immediately returning to its normal, peachy shade.
What was next? Was she going to grow cat ears or something?!
The answer was yes. Felicia let out another shriek.

Lynet pauses, hearing the other girl stirring and groaning, then strolls over to her cage bars to see if the other girl was ok. The answer was... not really. As Lynet watched, the girl managed to phase through her bars and back, turn her skin a different color, and grow cat ears, all in only a few moments. Lynet was frozen, staring at her in surprise. She felt as confused as Felicia was by what she saw, but definitely not as scared. As Felicia shrieks, Lynet winces, her ears flicking back. Lynet hesitates, then touches her cage bars. She was tired of remaining behind them, caged, when she had the ability to roam free, however briefly. Using that time to go help another experiment seemed more worthy than an escape attempt that would probably fail. Lynet melts a hole in her cage bars, then steps through and starts to approach Felicia's cage. "Hey, its ok. I know you're scared and confused and freaking out, but it'll be ok. You're not in pain, are you?" She asks, reaching the bars of the other girl's cage. Lynet hesitates, staying outside them for the moment, in case Felicia turned into something dangerous and turned on her. Still, her features were obviously etched with a look of concern as she watched the other girl.

Felicia looked up fearfully at the other experiment as her own cat ears shrunk back into nothingness. "N..No, I'm fine...I think..." she stuttered, still very much afraid of what she had just seen. Whatever that scientist has injected into her, it certainly had taken effect by now.
"Do you know what's happening to me?" she ventured as her skin changed again, becoming an iridescent, almost transluscent hue. It was almost comical, the rate at which the changes were manifesting themselves. And yet, for Felicia, it certainly wasn't funny at all.
She resisted the urge to convulse as she watched her body become like a giant prism, throwing off rainbows of colors as light passed through her skin.

Lynet hesitates, watching Felicia's skin turn color, then reflect color. It was actually quite amazing to watch, but Lynet was willing to bet it was probably frightening too. After a moment, she frowns softly and shakes her head, at a loss for what else to say. "No... not really. The changes seem to be something different for everybody." She replies, then tilts her head to the side slightly. "But it seems your body can now change into anything or any color..." She remarks, not sure how else to classify having cat ears one minute and looking like glass the next.

Diego sat in his office, reviewing Felicia's file, trying to look up who had brought her in, etc "Wonder if that boy she asked me about really did betray her..." he murmured, reading the files on the experiment performed on Felicia "Poor girl..." he whispered "She'll have a hard time controlling her own appearance, for the time being"

Felicia nodded helplessly as she folded her arms over her chest with a shiver. The prism-like effect of her skin was soon dulled to a soft glow as she tried her best to be calm. It seemed as if maybe her emotions had some effect on the rapid transformations.
For the first time, Felicia took a good look at the girl outside of her cage. She supressed a gasp as she realized that she had distinctly catlike features, ears, fur, and everything. She had ended up lucky.
"How did you get out?" she asked tentively, glancing over at the melted cage structure a short ways off. Surely the girl hadn't done that...

Lynet read the girl's expression after she'd calmed down some, when surprise flickered over her features, followed maybe by disbelief when she asked how Lynet had gotten out of her cage, even though the bars had been clearly melted. "The cat dna wasn't my first set of changes." She comments, as if that was explanation enough, then holds up her metal coated hands, the metal shining slightly in the florescent lighting as she turns them about for Felicia to see, then reaches out and lightly brushes a finger over a cage bar, melting half way through it before she draws her hand back and shrugs as she lets her hands drop back to her sides. "Anything metal I touch seems to just turn to liquid or melt now." She explains. "Its not a bad power I suppose, though it does make my hands kind of cold." She comments. Lynet glances up and down the hall, then seeing no scientists or guards around decides to remain, even though Felicia wasn't freaking out any more. She rarely ever felt this full of energy, and it was just nice to be out of her cage and free for a while.

Snyder was watching Lynet & Felicia through a security monitor "I knew you weren't stupid, Lynet" he whispered "Just don't make me doubt it & get back in your cell soon..."

A moment after she'd checked the hall, Lynet heard somebody approaching unfortunately. Lynet hesitates, then sighs and glances to Felicia. "Sorry, somebody's coming." She explains in a whisper, then turns and quietly runs back to her cage. Lynet slips through the hole she'd created, then turns back to the bars and frowns. They were completely melted. If the guards saw this... Lynet shakes her head, then looks down at the metal on her arms. Surely if there was a way to turn metal to liquid, there was a way to make it solid again.... Holding out her hands, Lynet touches the bars that were destroyed. The metal on her arms ripples, then flows down them and joins up with the bars. Lynet was amazed, but remained focused, completely reconnecting the bars with the metal coating her arms. As soon as the metal left her skin, it became solid again, if a bit fragile, since she'd had to stretch it thin to fit all the bars. She managed to make it work, though, and a moment later dropped her hands with a sigh of relief, then holds up her hands and looks at them. Half way down her forearms, fur turned to skin, since there was no longer metal coating her hands. For now at least they looked normal. "Hey, step back." The guard passing by instructs Lynet, scowling as he stops and glares at her. Lynet blinks in surprise, then nods, taking a few steps back as he opens the door and sets some food on the ground for her, then walks off. He didn't make a single comment about the bars. Lynet sighs in relief, then picks up the tray of food and walking over to her bed takes a seat, then starts eating quietly, thinking about her little outing.

Suddenly in the lab wheeling sounds were heard. A cage was being brought in. In the cage was a young man who was still fast asleep even through the whole ride. The two large men who were wheeling the cage in just threw him in the hallway not too far where the experiments are usually held and walked off- complaining. The cage fell with a huge clang and yet the man in the cage was still asleep.

Felicia nodded at Lynet and sat back down on her cot, closing her eyes and taking deep breaths as she tried to return to her normal appearance. Concentrate, she thought to herself, just concentrate...
After a few moments....success! No more glowing skin! Felicia smiled happily, but was sobered very quickly as another cage was wheeled in. She eyed it curiously, furrowing her eyebrows as she studied the scene. There was a man in the cage, sleeping.
Once the guards had left, the experiment gingerly stepped across her cell to get a closer look. She turned her head slightly towards Lynet. "Is he asleep?" she mouthed, not wanting to be heard by anyone...or anything.

Lynett, hearing the guards approach, sets her tray down and stands up as they dump the cage in the hallway without care. Walking over to her bars, careful not to touch them this time, Lynett peers out into the hallway, looking curiously at the sleeping man held captive inside the bars. At Felicia's question, Lynett glances at her, then nods silently, also not wishing, nor needing, to use words. Raising an eyebrow slightly, Lynett then turns her gaze back to the new experiment, quite surprised that he had slept through all of that. Then again, if he was as drugged up as she and others had been, then she wasn't really. How many more experiments would they bring in, though, she had to wonder? Lynett frowns softly, hoping to herself no more would come to this horrid place.
