Lex smiled at the friendly group "It's nice to meet you all" she replied. With a change of subject she asked "So have you experienced anything fun so far at the festival?"

"Well," Steven began "Kinzo and I just got some of the cotton candy, and we were all just about to go ride The Phoenix." He said while pointing to the ride.

Kendra nodding in agreement to Steven.
"and we were also going to check out the unicorn they have."
she added, smiling gleefully at the idea of seeing a unicorn.

"Wow. I've never seen a unicorn in person before," said lex. Animals always seemed to interest her. Though her house was known for having a hunger for knowledge, Lex could not deny finding classes despondent and tedious. But she always seemed to enjoy the hands-on experience of Care of Magical Creatures. "Do you mind if I join you?" She asked.

"Awesome." Lex said to the group. "I'm going to have to warn you though, I might scream a lot on the pheonix," she admitted sheepishly.

"Hey, that's part of the fun!" Kinzo loved rides, especially roller coasters, but since her mom wasn't particularly keen on them she only got to ride them with her friends. "So, are we ready to go?"

"Ready." Lex said to Kinzo. 'This ought to be interesting,' she thought to herself. Lex was a fan of adrenaline rushes, especially when she rode her broom, but the lack of control on a rollercoaster always made her a bit uneasy. It always seemed to make it more fun though.

"Actually, when Im really scared, I dont scream at all."
she said, thinking about the last time she had been truly frightened.
"But Im sort of a thrill seeker so I guess it's my own fault."
she gave a quirky smile, and thought about how she would probably laugh at Lex for screaming.

As the group walked over towards the ride, Lex was getting more and more excited. The bright red carts that soared through looked like dragons set aflame. Its riders' frightened shrieks seeming like the beasts' battle cries. As they approached the line, Lex said "Wow. I've been on muggle roller coasters before, but I've never seen one like this."

"That's for sure!" The one time she'd been at a muggle amusement park, Kinzo was so bored she'd rather have stayed home. They just didn't compare to the wizrding world.
