She looked into a room where a few people laid torn to pieces. She felt as if she we're about to vomit from the site, she grabbed Ryan's arm and held it tightly. "Ryan, look." She whispered as she pointed to the bodies. He looked at the people and he could see thier sprits floating around not passing on to the next life."Laura..I can see them their spirits"he said then pulled out his zanpaktoo. He held his blade backwards so the bottom of the handle was in fornt. He tapped the spirit softly and they dissappered. It look funny because he could see the spirits of the dead one. He sheated his zanpaktoo then look at laura."come on let's go"he said and grab her by the hand. She let Ryan lead her away from the bodies hopping there would be no more of that but there were. Dozens of bodies were spread out around the building, blood smeared all over the walls and floors. She closed her eyes for a second as she covered her nose with her shirt trying to get away from the smell of death. He kept leading her until they stop infornt of a door saying medicine storage room. "let's go in maybe we can get some medicine"he said kicking down the door. She nodded wordlessly as she stepped into the medicine room first. The room was covered with dust and the tables were broken. She walked over to one of the medicine cabinets and tried to pry it open. "It's locked." She said as she turned to him. He looked at her then at the lock. He pointed towards the lock and his finger glowed a bright white and the lock breaked."There we go"he said.

He let Tomei down onto the rooftop of the building they landed on and gazed at the creature that emerged from the middle of the broken street. His expression hardened, and he turned to his sister. "Mei, go now," he said. "Look for any survivors and take them to the temple. I'll buy you time."

Slowly drawing his katana, he waited for the creature to look up and see him. When it did, he was nowhere to be seen, then it suddenly shrieked in pain as it found his katana impaled in its head, with Jin slowly dragging the blade forward, slicing open its skull and erupting a fountain of black blood. With a final glass-shattering roar, it trembled and fell to the ground, dead. Its cry seemed to alert the other monsters in the area, and Jin headed off in search of them before they could get to him.
