"Perhaps...or perhaps he's just reminding me that I'm slipping...." Aura stood from her bed and scanned her room once over. "At least you can control it, I just...disappear and I'm...stuck there. I just feel alone and lost...that's why I couldn't do it when I was little, can't do it now." She cast a smile to the vampire. "But you're comfortable in that sort of inviroment...it's different for you."
((You're on early Saradin..recover from the *cough*thread*cough*? Hey! *points to sig* me and Bastet got the stairs to ourselves! And for crying out loud I'm the brightest person in that room!))

Vincent smiled at her" that is very true, but if its being alone that your afraid of then perhaps you should get somone to travle with you, when you shadow jump you are planeshifting, you are leaving this plane of existance and passing threw the plain of shadow then you arrive at your destination....Most people make the transtion so fast that we have no time to notice, but it seems that you are getting stuck there, going slower then others. The plain of shadow can be a very scary place, if you don't like the darkness."

((Naturally I intend to fill in other members of the RP in the center should they attend this evening.))
Voices, familiar ones at least, did anyone actually sleep around here or just dissapear for stretches of time? Not close enough to understand the words but to recognize the voices, Saradin recognized both Aurahkah's and the vampire's. Not wanting to eavesdrop, Saradin passed right beyond her bedroom door. Unfortunately he stopped just passed it concern, or was it curiosity, to much to bear. The tone of discussion sounded little more private than any other, so he wasn't to concerned with his location. But of course he realized their relationship and was more than willing to depart in case of *cough* certain activities. (( rolleyes ))

"I never said I was scared of darkness..." She walked over to the door and placed her hands on the wall next to it. "I may not be able to do such things as you and I may get "stuck" when trying, but I have found that I can do this." She pushed against the wall, the shadow that had been casted on that wall engulfing her. A second or two later, she stepped out of the very same wall, just on the other side, now out in the hallway, outside of her locked room. "Ow, ow ow...still hurts though..."
SHe reached for the handle on her door and laughed. Right, Vincent had locked it and she didn't have a key. So in an awkward situation she knocked on her own door. "Vincent dear, unlock my door and come out here...I don't think I can do that again right now...ow..."

Saradin of course made himself scarce, no need to be caught standing outside her bedroom at this time. Saradin vanished into his second reality, quite surprised to find Aurahkah there as well. He lingered in the relative safety of the dimensional gap, slightly out of synch with Aurah enough for vision of her to be blurred as she slipped through otherwise solid objects. This may have been a share of her inheritance from Eclipse. Naturally he wondered the exact extent of her new found abilities as he stood swamped in darkness.

"it's a start" he mumbled to himself making his way over to the door "humm...all alone in Aurahkah's room...the things I could do" he said with a laugh. Vincent made his was over to the single candle that was on her dresser and blew it out before disappearing.
He piped in and out of the dimensional gap several times in the space of about twenty seconds, one time carrying a small child in his arms. He didn't seem to notice Saridin, and if he did, he payed him no mind.
The lock on the door behind Aurahkah slid into place, sealing the door form the inside. Vincent appeared standing behind Aurahkah about twenty seconds later "hello" stated out form behind her

"What? Are you trying to show me up?" She looked away a moment and gritted her teeth, then looked back to Vincent. "This has to get easier at some point...how do you Saradin and Eclipse do this all the time..." Aura reached a hand up and poked at one of his fangs. "And must you pop up like that...it's bad enough I'm hearing a voice..."

Now Saradin could clearly catching bits and pieces of the conversation as the sounds rippled through layers of space. Voice in her head, bad jokes made by Vincent, mention of his name. But most noteworthy of all was the small child. A silent prayer went out that she was unharmed or at least seemingly so during his brief glimpse of her. Within his mind, he felt outward through his composite material around him and could feel it like it were a part of him. He became part of the shadow opposite of the room in which they were standing, sensing it as if he were within. And of course, he attempted to manipulate the substance that formed the dimensional barrier, softening it to passage for Aurah's ease of use should she attempt to continue her practice.

"it's what I do" he said with a chuckle, He snaked his hands around her waist before lowering his lips to her ear and speaking"If you wish continue your training, might I suggest trying it in my room. I think you will find it easer to pass threw those walls then most others.."The room around him changed then and there, it was strange, It must have been the person he felt lurking in the shadows." but i wouldn't suggest anyone elce trying it, it may be easer to get in but I don't think many will like what they find" he did know who was watching them but he made sure to say the second part loud enough for them to hear. He didn't like uninvited visitors.

Either one of two people or both were being addressed. Saradin and or Eclipse. But Eclipse had his "feathers ruffled" right now and wasn't to happy with Aurahkah herself. She placed a hand on Vincent's forearm to draw his attention. "Perhaps later...that one kind of really hurt..."
"Can't go two feet without complaining can you?"
A shake of the head to dismiss the plague and she smiled again.

He was fully aware that his proximity had been given away, but remained attuned to the location, taking the opportunity to stretch less used muscles. The shdowstuff bent to his will easily enough and being far enough from the core of that reality there were fewer dark spots that posed any concern he was free to continue unimpeeded. This was a blatant invasion of privacy even if he wasnt even technically in the same plane as them, but he always justified himself in one way or another, knowing that Eclipse was likely off sulking (Or maybe tormenting Bastet's dreams.) and wouldnt be doing this himself.

"Very well" he said with a smile, her door unlocking, he released his grasp on her moving over to the door and opening it. He waited for her to enter before closing and locking it. It was making him a bit uneasy that someone was just sitting there watching them. He couldn't see them but he could seance there presence. His crimson orbs locked onto Aurahkah's tattoo once again, it was odd that she had gotten it as an answer to a problem but the tattoo itself seemed to be raising a whole new set of conflicts.

Eclipse was just staring at Bastet. He could tell when one suffered from troubled dreams. So he let her be. A few moments later he shadow walked through her locked door and out into the hall. Seeing the two people he didn't' want to be around, he stepped back through and took a route through side walls of rooms, both occupied and unoccupied. He growled as his stalking led him to the great hall. "That girl...now she pushes me away when I'm trying to help, what next? Letting him use her as a personal snack bar?" The wolf shuddered at that thought. "And the nerve to threaten me...
Men. She was always amazed by them at some point. One possibly two were skulking in shadows and another didn't seem to happy about either of them. Aura looked over her shoulder to Vincent, a hand raising to flick a piece of hair from her eyes. "What is it?"

His heightened awareness granted him temporary knowledge of Eclipse's movements, sliding through the halls in a bit of a distemper. Knowing that he was simply compromising the situation further by staying, Saradin slipped away through the darkness as he released his grasp over the area, leaving only faint trails of himself behind in the matter. Trust in Aurahkah, that was he was trying to convince himself as he wraithed his way into the great hall to become solid again.

Eclipse paced in a circle, claws clicking against the marble floor. He licked at his muzzled and let his wings flare in agitation. "Break me in half? Vampire or not, he couldn't kill me. My life is connected Aurahkah's...and if he is true to his word as she says then he wouldn't dare lay a hand on her." He stopped a moment as he noticed Saradin then resumed his pacing, growling ever so slightly.
