Hikari takes her best option. She tucks her knees and falls backwards, slipping into a roll to avoid all damage. In the time it takes, Shunketsu is allowed to land, but Hikari has created a pendulum force, allowing her to spring off using her bent legs straight for him. She notices her first strike, with the longer bokken, is way off. The swing is slow, but she decides to use that to hide her second strike. The shorter bokken makes a fast swing straight towards his waist as she prepares to duck and roll again.

Shunketsu was busy looking at that big bokken...and like Hikari planned, the 2nd one hit him dead on...Shunketsu flew back a bit, since he was still in midair...and landed with a roll...but he quickly got up to his feet...
damn that midget is accurate...
Shunketsu made his move to rush in again, making it look like he was going to do that first attack all over again, but when he got close enough, he ducked low and came up at Hikari with a scissor-like cross slash...thing...he had to aim lower to hit Hikari around waist-height instead of on the head though...

Hikari grunts when Shunketsu's attacks both land. Not one to feel sorry for herself and finding this duel quite worth having, a wild glint enters her eyes. If he's paying attention, he might notice a thin streak of red reiatsu bolt across her left eye. Unbeknownst to them all, it's her inner hollow. She quickly recovers, however, as she loops both bokken around and sends them in a powerful thrust down towards his shoulders.

For a slight moment, Shunketsu felt something different from Hikari...it wasn't her normal self, but he didn't really have time to think about it since her bokken were already coming for him...he didn't even have time to hate himself for actually hitting Hikari...

Since Shunketsu was hit by that small one earlier, he neglected to pay enough attention to the big one...and that squared him right on the shoulder...causing him to fall back, flip, and land with a thud, front-first...on the bright side, that falling back did avoid the smaller one...
Shunketsu wasn't too far from Hikari, not far at all, and he did something like a push-up so he was aimed for Hikari, and then pushed off with his feet, rushing in...he thrust his right-handed bokken in first, aiming for the waist, and hit or not, Shunketsu was going to spin counter-clockwise and deliver an upward slash with his left-handed one, aimed for Hikari's chin...This was done mostly on fighting instinct however, and his brain was too slow to do much about it...
I'm so going to hate myself later...why am I going all out against her? is it because she's still standing and seemingly fine after a hit that would've knocked most people out? why??

Hikari manages to take a step back to avoid the first strike, but the second one catches her squarely on the chin. She can feel her head rattle from that one, but she's smart enough to keep her mouth closed during a fight. If she keeps her mouth open or clenched, there might have been some serious damage done to her teeth, even with bokken. Still. She's sent into the air for a moment, but she recovers quickly enough. For one reason or another, her next breath is forced and sounds like a cough. A red ring of reiatsu outlines her iris; though, it's probably too slim for anybody to notice right away...without a great ability to sense reiatsu.
The moment her feet touch the ground again, she stumbles backwards before bending her knees and springing forward again. She notices that her shorter bokken is caught in a slower swing as she bolts towards Shunketsu, but that won't matter. She's, more or less, hoping to use it defensively. The stronger swing of the longer bokken, though, she hopes at least lands. She needs to deal some more damage! She can already tell that Shunketsu is much stronger, physically, than her. At the same time, she can also feel her reiatsu is greater than his. With a smirk, she hopes to see the both of them grow much stronger.

Shunketsu didn't know what was going on...he was sure she should've been down for the count...but she came at him once again, catching him off guard...he tried to avoid it, but it clipped him and sent him spinning a bit...he landed on his feet though, and rushed for Hikari again, adrenaline a-rushing...
He used his right-handed bokken first...he didn't want anything blocking his hit...he used it to force any defensive measures out of the way...He then intended to thrust his left-handed one forward, aimed right for Hikari's throat...
His brain kicked back into action right then and there though, and he halted the bokken before it really hit her...it was touching her, applying a slight amount of pressure...but that was all it did...and he just held it there...signaling that his attack would've hit...

Hikari can only feel that she's out of breath. Shunketsu had won this one. That much is obvious. Though her breathing is heavy, it's no labored. She can only smirk as she throws her arms up with the brightest smile she could possibly muster, which is pretty bright to say the least. "That was great, Hentai-san!" She might not be up for another spar so soon, but she knows he's definitely a sparring partner to keep in mind. "He doesn't have as much reiatsu, but he's definitely strong." Though neither of them are likely to realize it, there is still a slim, red ring of reiatsu around the iris of her left eye. With a blink, she tilts her head at what he said. "Neh? Sorry?! I'm not that weak am I?!"

Shunketsu didn't notice the ring of redness...since he couldn't really look Hikari in the eye...he was ashamed of himself...and after Hikari being all happy and whatnot, yaknow...being her usual self, it made him feel that much worse about himself...
Shunketsu let himself fall back away from Hikari and landed sitting down...he was a little tired, but he was more angry at himself...he didn't intend to get that serious against her...
"no...Hikki-chan, you were probably one of the stronger people I've faced...You're the first one in a while to land several hits on me...what I'm sorry for is that if I hadn't stopped myself, I was ready to do as much bodily harm to you as possible..."

"Neh?" Hikari really couldn't understand what he was so glum about. He'd just won. She's also not so weak as to not be able to recover from a few additional hits. Although. She has to admit that her chin smarts. That one hit might have done more damage than any of his previous strikes if she hadn't known a few things about protecting oneself in combat. She leans in and looks at him with all the curiosity a child is expected to have. "Then we should train some more! We can't grow stronger if we regret how we fight. How can we kill hollow if we can't even recognize the strength of those around us and fight?!" A strangely serious moment for Hikari; though, she has quite a few serious moments in her head. She then pats him on the head. "Hentai-san! We just need to get stronger!"

Shunketsu wasn't really too sure what to feel after Hikari's little speech...but he decided that she was attempting to cheer him up and he did...even if it wasn't much...he did cheer up just a tiny bit...and when Hikari patted him on the head...he lowered it a bit to hide his eyes and kinda felt like crying...((wuss...hehehe))...but Shunketsu then suddenly looked back up at Hikari with his own smile...it wasn't as bright...but it'll do...
"you're a funny little kid you know that? but let's try our best to get stronger, neh?"
Shunketsu then stood up and stretched a little...apparently, being called 'Hentai-san' all those times stopped bugging him...

Haruko had gotten back in time just to see Shunketsu land what would have been the knock-out blow. Maybe Hikari would have been a better sparring partner after all... she thought, but she quickly lost her concentration. Something seemed to be distracting her... something kind of familiar, yet different. She couldn't quite pin-point it however, in fact it was so small she wouldn't have noticed it if wasn't such a familiar feeling. She wasn't even able to tell where it was coming from, just that it was... there. Plus, she could have sworn for a second she felt it in the tent to. But, as suddenly as she felt it, it disappeared from her perception.
Haruko walked over towards Shunketsu and Hikari, feeling kind of silly when she noticed the large number of bokken she had missed... not that it was of any consequence, thanks to Medixia-san. The medicine seemed to have worked wonderfully, and the medics said it would do everything healing kidous would, even if it would take a bit more time. So they just bandaged her up and let her go on her way.
Haruko deeply wished she had been able to see the fight, but it didn't really matter to much. She walked right up behind Shunketsu, poking him roughly in the back of the head, not quite noticing that Hikari and him were having a "moment".
