Bastet wrinkled her brow as she heard the movement and saw Vincent standing by Aura. Then she looked to Eclipse again, "Memories? What sort of memories could haunt her now? I guess the dame kind that haunt me, bad memories that were buried deep, sparked by something recent."

The shadows seemed shutter off Vincent like smoke as he stepped into the light. His hands came up wrapping around her waist, holding her close" what happened to you?" He asked ushering her back to the couch, he took a seat next to her, his arms wrapping around her shoulders and pulling her close again.

Much like she had with Eclipse, Aura buried her face into the crook of Vincent's neck, one hand still clutched to his coat as she tried to calm herself. She had already fallen apart enough, she had to get a hold of herself.

"Get a hold of your nerves girl! Now get up, you'll never get anywhere with your face in the dirt." Another resounding crack in her head. Aura herself let out another sob.

She tried to calm herself. Not often did she break down like this. This wasn't supposed to happen because of the bond she had made, yet she knew it was. They rose from the very darkness Eclipse had exchanged in their bond. "I...everything was just dark...then I was outside, in the woods...and everything just faded in and out and then I saw Bastet...then I was back here and..."

"Can't you talk straight? When you're scared you spit in the face of your fear, not fumble and speak like a fool with your sentences."

She shook her head and merely silenced herself, trying to steady out her breathing.




Eclipse looked up to Bastet and nuzzled her. "If she would tell me what scares her so much about shadow walking I'd help. It's like she's afraid to even try...and I can't quell the shadows that make up a past that she won't reveal. How can I protect her from her own memories?"

Eclipse watched Bastet go off, then took a deep breath himself. He fluffed his wings once then walked over to the pair on the couch and sat down in front of them. He simply watched the vampire holding his master. He'd tolerate Vincent for her sake. "Aurahkah....don't cry, please..."

"I believe she did as well...though it's a simple task, she shouldn't be acting like this." He moved slightly closer and rested a fore paw on Aurahkah's knee.

Aura herself was quickly calming, willing the gruff voice in her head away...or at least to stay quiet for a while. Eclipse's voice and Vincent's touch seemed to be enough to fight that voice off.

"I told you once before, you don't belong, no one cares about you. Now do what you were put on this plane to do and nothing more! I have no time to piddle with filth like you."

She cringed once more then after a few moments lifted her head and brought her hand to her face, wiping at tears an the khol around her eyes that had run. A bit more composed she rested her head back down on Vincent's shoulder, and reached one hand out to rest on Eclipse's head.

Eclipse growled slightly. "I'll teach her, or Saradin, but not you." His ears flattened back and he received a harsh smack in the nose and a glare from a still teary eyed Aurahkah.

"Don't start!" She took a breath and settled back into Vincent and looked back up to him. "Someone once tried to teach me...scared me so badly...I was only nine then though. But I guess I have to learn don't I?"

She smiled slightly. "You have no idea...." Aura ran a hand down her arm, touching over the scratches that had been left. Oh she must of looked horrible. The state of just her cloak told her that much. She forced a laugh out. "Haven't seen you in days love and this is how I look..."

Eclispe made a whimper mixed with a growl. He then flared his wings but yanked them back in quickly. "Listen to me vampire...you lay one hand on her in anger, cause one injury to her...and you're mine." He flicked his tail and turned, walking down the hall and shadow walked into Bastet's room.

Aura frowned and looked up to Vincent again. "I apologize for him..."
