Der: Hear, hear!
And to all those Americans that don't give a crap: shame on you! At least put a flag up or something. I mean, today is the celebration of the country you live in. (There are only 5 some houses in my neighborhood with flags out. Pittiful, yes?)
Non-Americans: Have a nice day.
Fresh Me...Newcomers: Thank me because I let you into the guild! Er... Welcome. biggrin
(Sorry, Der. I had to copy you their. It was hilarious. xd )

Whee! I'm a super cool trend setter! XD (which is incredably Ironic seeing as I'm typing this in my loose breeches wearing an Empire Strikes Back Yoda t-shirt. XD )

I found an interesting quote in the GCD a few days ago.
"The GGN: where guilds go to die."

Well, we all know that's not true. rolleyes Just look at the United Forums of Gaia. Or whatever is highest on the list. xd
And PAF is still going strong, luckily. My own guild, on the other hand... I've been neglecting it lately. sweatdrop It's not exactly dying, but... not many people post there in a day.
So let's make that "The GGN: Where some guilds go to die." mrgreen

I've been trying to fgure something out, but I think that I just don't have the education for it. So are there any biochemistry geeks in here that could help me by answering amazingly complex questions about fatty acids? (You may just want to pm me. I don't what to make anyone's brain explode. Mine is on the edge of doing so.)

Gaians are poll whores. -_-;

Gaians are poll whores. -_-; Oh, yeah, I forgot about the poll guilds. I'm a member of Magical Poll Land, too... although I don't actually go there often. ninja Yea and verily, we all must be poll whores. It used to be that guilds of some substance were at the top. gonk

true, true. but nothing can be done about poll-whoring, so we might as well endure it. oh well. just don't look at the top guilds and just search for one that might fit your interest. That's what I did. I'm only in two, but they are both nice, respectable guilds that I like. *looks around* this is a nice, respectable guild, right?

Hi every one I just started a website in honor of Lord of the Rings. I just made it yesterday so there isn't a lot of stuff on it. I made a chat room though. The website is www.freewebs.com/tolkeinlordoftherings

Nessa Linwelin Hi every one I just started a website in honor of Lord of the Rings. I just made it yesterday so there isn't a lot of stuff on it. I made a chat room though. The website is www.freewebs.com/tolkeinlordoftherings The colours are nice, and I'm sure you'll have good content soon, but I have a piece of advice: Drop the leaves and butterflies. They're very distracting and make it dificult to take a site seriously. I look forward to seeing it in the future, though. You may want to start a section for articals on LotR. People could submit things they've writed on LotR and Arda to you and you could post them. Sort of like the Greenbooks section of TheOneRing.Net, but from the rest of us. I've never seen that on a LotR website before. And I'm sure there are members of the guild that would be interested in submiting things (I know I would and I'm guessing Tirno may). That would be a good way to get content up fast.

Thanks for the comments. I can only add a couple of things before 7 days is over (stupid activation thing). I was going to add info about the characters but I could aslo do what you said. I already have a gallery set up for art but I need to my hands on a scanner. People can email me there pictures and I can put them on the website with there title and name next to it. Its killing me to wait for 7 days! gonk

I think I am going to have to buy the premium service to be able to have enough space! All of it is free unless you want to get more room. crying
