She sat down apprehensively beside Kino and didnt say anything and she glanced at him briefly before looking out over the water. She looked over her shoulder and got out of the boat and grabbed Kyo by the arm and began to pull him to the boat. "You're coming with us..."

Kyo smiled his usual self, even though he felt miserable, he didnt let his face givt it away..."Of wourse im going with you. Where else can I go...?" than he though to himself,"well i could in theory help grandfather with the attack...but im gonna choose to die for a cause i care about." before snapping out of his thoughts and getting on the boat. He had no possession, just his swords and the clothes on his back. No armour, no potion.

Kyo sat in the bow of the boat, the icy sea spray chilling him to the bone, but he sat there unphased and not moving, his eyes staring into space, but his body trying to protect his sword from getting wet. His mind was flashing back to happier places and happier times, before Lin had entrered his life, and he knew his time was running out...

Swiftly moving form tree to tree, he circles them. He takes four arrows from his quiver, each one sliding between his fingers. He hunches over, his knees by his stomach, watching as they moved over his branch. He jumps, performing a perfect back flip, and fires all his arrows before landing. They fell to the earth, taking the orcs with them. He focuses for a moment, finding where his enemies were, before firing rapidly, the arrows raining down on their victims. As he climbed down from the tree, is heart still racing, he took the dart from behind his ear, and moved ever closer to the last orc that remained. His foe pulled out a machete like sword, huge in size. The elf moved closer and closer, before leaping upwards, and landing behind the orc, placing his dart into the back of its neck. The opponent fell to the ground, hunched, but barely bleeding. He took his dart, and gathered his arrows, before leaping once more into the trees.

The 'thing' was incredibly fast for its size and within a few steps it had reached josh and butted him with his snout into a cave wall. Josh grogilly got up and pulled his rapier, if he was going to die it would be fighting. He lashed out more than once on the beast yet it seemed to no effect, the animals skin was impenatrable. The lizard latched onto joshes leg and pain erupted in the elfs shin, it felt like it would shatter soon, with a last ditch attempt josh swiped across the animals jaw and it let out a yelp and let go. The creature growled then hissed as it charged, Josh eyed his bow that had been flung from him, as the beast charged he side rollled and picked it up then shouldered it again, but that left crucial seconds for the thing to attack and it did with ferocity it lept and landed on josh then swiped at his face leaving a gaping claw mark in the elfs cheek. It bared its teeth then opened its jaw wide as if to bite joshs head off, Josh went pale white but his brows knitted as if he was trying so hard to stay alive, he then rammed his rapier into the beasts tounge, suddenly it shuffled back and screamed, then it lifted its head up in angony. that was all the time the elf needed he took his bow and strung 3 arrows simultaneously, and let them fly at the soft skin on the animals necks. A gurgling sound was heard as it moved from side to side then finally slumped to its death.
Josh lay there exhuasted and bloody panting with deep breaths.
