After she had changed her money for the silver and copper coins, Mickey pocketed them. Admittedly, the dollars would have been much more convenient to carry, but she didn't mention it. She was glad Hari had offered to treat them to a night at the inn; she didn't think she had the money to do so, as well as buy any clothing or supplies that she needed. Mickey had decided she would spend her money mostly on herself, Larissa, Nariko, and Claw; she knew them and knew she could trust them... Larissa and Nariko, at least. The half demon wasn't so sure about buying clothes. If she could clean the ones she had then she was sure she could make do until she had money to spend on new ones. Luckily she had chosen to wear pants and combat boots that day, so she wasn't very inconvenienced by her outfit. Really, all that she wanted to do was take a shower and a nap.

Claw continued to watch Mickey, scanning her every twitch and blink. He had nothing better to do; if he wandered the city on his own, it'd get boring soon enough, and that would increase the chance of getting lost.

Mickey noticed Claw watching her. Her cheeks went pink and her lips pressed into a tight, slightly forced, frown. "What?" she asked him.

"Entertain me, hun." He told her simply. Claw's hands were stuffed into his pockets, and his expression was bored. "You have the money, so I'm going to be following you around and asking you to get me stuff."

Mickey's frown became a slight smirk. "Wow. The rich boy has no money. That's a first. And who says I'm gonna get you anything?"

"Hey. I don't know about you, but I got sucked into this place in the middle of the summer. Be glad I chose to wear pants that day." said Claw. He casually walked up to her, and rested his arm on her shoulder. "And don't remind me. It's a good thing that you have some cash on you."

Mickey laughed, but it was kind of forced, and somewhat only to hide her blush. "Alright, I'll pay for your food," she relented.

"Look, the bank's right there. Get the money, pay me, and we can go our seperate ways."
"Somebody's eager to get away from me." The comment was followed by a small chuckle before Apollo's expression settled to a smile once more.
"Look, it's not liek I don't appreciate what you did; you saved me. But we had a deal: I get you to Esterspring, you let me be on my merry way." Keara, though she would never admit it, even to herself, didn't want to be a burden. She had already almost gotten Apollo killed and herself raped. She wasn't a good bodyguard, it seemed. Also, she was a little ashamed that she, the one who was being paid to guard, had to be saved by the one she was protecting. Still, she didn't address the subject. "Besides," she began; "I need the money to get a new shirt."
"What about the 20 silver pieces I gave you before?"
"That doesn't count."

 The bank and the town hall were perhaps the closest things to the temple that Anfisa lived at. It was in front of the town hall where she stood, her fingers gently caressing the instrument as her breath was blown into it. She didn't mind if others were listening to the melody that escaped from the flute or if they continued on their way. She enjoyed playing the instrument.
Though she didn't mind if people enjoyed her songs or not, there were still coins littered around at her feet. Many of the residents knew who she was and that she tried hard not to be a burden to the priest. They did not, however, know that she had the Chanson de Anges, though the notes from the flute were remarkably better than any other flute.

"How doesn't it count? You robbed me fair and square."
"You-!" Keara paused, hearing some music coming from not too far away. The sounds was only perhaps a couple streets from where she and Apollo stood. "That's pretty," she commented, her entire composure changing. "Where's it coming from?"
Apollo didn't point it out, but that was the first time since meeting her that he'd heard Keara compliment anything. "That way," he spoke, answering her question.

There was a small pause as the song ended. Anfisa's eyes opened for about half a minute while she caught her breath and took in the people in the street. When she had finished looking out at the people, the flute was brought up to her lips once more and a new song was started. There seemed to be a lot of councilmen walking around and there had been a small crowd around her, mainly composed of women and children.

The girl didn't seem to be aware that two people were headed in her direction. How could she? There were thousands upon thousands of people who lived in the city so she would never suspect that someone who chased after the key and one who bore the mirror were headed towards her.
