"So you're telling me Hasphaestus built these crystals so that Zues could give them to this civilization of worshipers? Quite odd...mortals do not usually get gifts from gods, due to the abuse of power that would ensue. Hence, the reason the gods didn't want to give fire to the humans. This is terrible news! I do not know of this Zues civilization, but if there could be many clues to their whereabouts. A floating fortress....no doubt anything doing with heavy worshipers would revolve around the famed Mount Olympus, or anywhere in the general area. If you hope to find them, looking up things about the colony, the history of the gods that may link a sort of praise to them, or heading to the location of Mount Olympus would be the three best options. We must make haste! Who knows when this madman could strike, or where else he could attack!"

Nailah nodded. "But that would require knowledge of a very difficult and ancient type of magic. Well that is , unless special circumstances caused him a prolonged life...much like mine." Nailah lost herself in thought. She could tell that this was worrying Bastet and that didn't make Nailah feel very good. She also knew that if Rashidi or Manu were still alive, Bastet probably would not hesitate to try and get rid of them yet again. The thought sent shivers down Nailah's spine.
((Yes Saradin. I'm afraid you have sparked my curiousity as well.))

"First off, this happened along time ago. That guy is long dead. Secondly, the crystals were not created by the gods. Alchemists made them from stuff. I don't really know how. The people just called themselves Zues because they could command thunder and lightning. As for that fortress, it got caught in a hurrican and it crashed onto a cloud. It's safe to say it's not going to bother us."

"If he needs practice I'm always here... and much less threatening. I think." Dismissing the scattery Khasis, he returned his attention to Bastet and her story telling, if it was still going on. "Rashidi... I knew someone by that name once. He was an old man, and a great wiseman. I studdied under him for a short time, and learned that he was quite insane. He carried some old powers with him, tried to turn me to stone in fact. But of course he could be a completely different person."
((Hehe, if you don't get the references I just made, then I have nothing to worry about!))

Bastet's temper flared, then she calmed it for Nailah, "Nailah? I used to be a cat, just a cat, nothing more. Now I am alive after 5000 years and heal at an accelerated rate." As she took in what Saradin said she shook her head, "It really should not surprise me so much that either of them might still be alive..." Then she saw Nailah a bit worried, "I am trying to keep my emotions in check. If anything happens and you have not had a lot of training, I will try to keep the confrontations away from you."

"Just because a god made it doesn't mean it wasn't by godly powers. Gods were accustomed to nonmagical habits. Either way, it doesn't matter. That crystal is threatening them, and we need to find out what's going on before something happens. And who's to say the other five crystals aren't doing the same to other locations around the world? There's a lot we dont know...and need to know! When dealing with items of mass destruction, there's no time to dilly dally. Wait....a castle, crashing into a cloud? Clouds are just percipitation...they can't become solid form on their own. Ugh...there's a lot more I need to hear possibly."

Nailah looked at Bastet, hurt for her burst of anger. "I'm sorry Bastet. I only meant to look at the positives. But if he is still alive, what are you going to do? And don't worry about me. You will know when I am about to lose control. There are signs." She looked at Saradin adn thought about what he had said. Seh hoped that RAshidi was dead but knew that it was probably likely he was alive. Or maybe..."Bastet, you said Manu was Rashidi's lackey, right?"

She looked a little puzzled at Nailah's hopeful sound, but was grateful for it, "Yes, he was the underling. Just a dreadful a person but not quite as clever or forceful. Why do you ask?" Then she pondered on what Saradin and Nailah had said. She hoped that they were not alive but could not shake a feeling.

"Don't let my experiences concern you, from what I know the Rashidi I knew met a gruesome end during an attempted coup de'tate he attempted on local rulership." Into the fridge, contemplating making something to eat, Saradin continued to focus on what they were saying. "He can't be killed more than once, I dont think."

"I was simply wondering why Manu had an amulet. I mean he was the underling. Unless of course Rashidi also had an amulet. But then that takes me back to why did Manu's amulet end up here adn not Rashidi's? And if Rashidi did have an amulet, where is his now? It's a lot of 'what if's' but it's really all we have to work with right now." Nailah continued to think and soon her mind was totally devoted to the point where she could barely feel the emotions anymore. Nailah smirked at Saradin's comment. "Don't be so sure. Egypt has a lot of ancient history and with that history comes powerful magic. Some of it is good but much of it is evil. There are ways to bring one back from the dead. Especially by one trained in the art."

Vik walked in just in time to hear the part where Ryo asked about how it could crash into a cloud. "How do you think I could live on a cloud if it wasn't solid?" "Oh Vik. I tried tell you sooner but you blocked me out. Here." Munalisk handed Vik the book. "Oh that. I learned about Zues in history class about 4 years ago. What that got to do with anything?" "Don't you get it. That's what was in her vision. That's what going to destroy Laputa!" "First off, it was," he pointed at his right palm, "who were going to destroy Laputa. And like you mentioned, that fortress was destroyed. It crashed onto Laputan turf. That space was actually supposed to be the place for the next sports arena. Now it's a archaelogical dig site." Munalisk shook his head. He turned back to Ryo. "We know that five of the crystals are still hidden. The former subjects each created a temple to house the crystals. Each were then enchanted to look like a natural object. Like a mountain."

"Just because something was made by alchemy doesn't mean it can't act upon its own. Perhaps it is doing so, or perhaps a descendant is commanding the crystal? I'm not sure, but it's suggested we find some answers here."

"Rashidi had one, he was well revered in that time." She clucked her tongue a few times as she thought. "I will just have to investigate it by going back to that spot in the woods and look aorund a bit more. I will deal with what I find there." She sighed and stood to head to the door, "I will be right back."

Nailah nodded and watched Bastet leave. Turning to Saradin seh said, "Well this is interesting. I mean it seems we deal with a new crisis every night. But I'm curious Saradin. What are your thoughts on this?" She leaned back in her chair and waited for him to answer.

Ryo lifts his head up and simply laughs, unsecuring his partizan and twirling it high above their heads. "Well boys, looks like we have ourselves another adventure! Let's get crackin' at the info then stop this crazy crystal of chaos! Whaddya say?"
