I need a job gonk

I need a new job. :<

Jobs are evil sad They suck my life away and get in the way of drinking.

They sure are, or at least for the most part, unless you are actually lucky enough to find a job that you enjoy... Which is probably pretty much unheard of at this point in my life. But it will pay the bills, and put food and drugs into my tummy, so it is required. And right now my job is a 40min bus drive away... Not to mention the fact that I do like everything there and get paid nothing for it.

My hospital gown kept trying to slip off of my shoulders. There I was, sitting cold, alone, vulnerable, naked except for that gown which kept trying to fall off and expose me.

As cute as this neglected 3 day old kitten is... it's a pain to nurture!

An old college friend is addicted to crack. I saw her today. She's bone thin, and her eyes are so empty. She used to be so...her... and now she's just... there.

There's actually artists who are incorporating Product Placement into their music?

Oh, for ******** sake... there's enough advertising as it is. From all your popups on your PC, to the ******** anti-environment billboards on the intersates. What the ********? MySpace is becoming more and more advertising-oriented....

Makes me want to squash the huge corporations like a ******** mosquito with a case of herpes.

Anyone in their right ******** mind won't incorporate PP into their music.

Here's a few steps toward the right direction.

#1: Boycott Fergie.
#2: Buy a Mac.
#3: Stay true to the music, and don't be a ******** sellout to the corporate whores of the world.

ARGGGHHHH!!!! So pissed.

An old friend of mine from High School was addicted to crack and I just recently found out. Unfortunately, my friend went to go buy weed from him and he was super skinny (always was skinny, but now was even moreso), and he had a really skittish look about him. Was kind of weird and saddening, so I know what you mean jopwie! sad

read "No Logo" by Naomi Klein, sweatdrop it's nearly 10 years old but doesn't make it any less pertinent to our times. a slightly smaller and slightly lighter read is a book called branded (the authors name eludes me at the moment) for those who are afraid of a book that rivals most text books in size.

It may not be better in every way, shape, and form but it saves a lot of headaches by going Mac. Trust me, I've used both. I have NOT used Linux, however. And, I don't see any reason to at this point. Besides, I was going off on the idea that commercialism is at it's finest with all the diseased open windows Microsoft has. But, there's windows people and Mac people. So, let it be left at that. wink

And for the record I own a PC with 98 (yeah, it's old but I hate XP, it looks so gay). But, I've used Macs quite a bit. I started with an old Apple Iggs back when 5 inchers were still big. Anyone older than me should remember those huge a** floppies. But anyways. I don't hate Windows as far as the GUI is concerned. I just hate all the ******** assloads of rim shotted viruses that gets infested on there. And, if you're anything like me, you'll notice AdAwareSE doesn't do s**t. I can't even use Internet Explorer on this thing because it'll put my PC into a smasmodic fit. I basically HAVE TO use FireFox. And, IE is HARD to get rid of on '98. I can't even open folders because they are ran by Explorer. I have to put my PC into safe mode, THEN open the folder, take out the files and place them onto my desktop. THEN restart. Rinse, lather, repeat. It gets quite frustrating. And, I hear Norton ******** everything up more than it helps.

why not? it's practical . there's no real need to have something that you have to basically build yourself for the vast majority of people.
