Diclonius Toshiro ' We're good.' Saya chimmed in. ' Saya. shush. We're fine. yuki just left. I heard a helicopter in the distance. Can you see anything from where you are?' Jon scanned the skies as he was driving, keeping an eye on the road, but couldn't see anything. Then he noticed a flash. "Nope, I don't see a thing. No wait, I DO see something. It's like a flash coming from the distance. Shall I follow it?"

Jon chuckled and repositioned himself in his seat.
"I know her from when I first ended up in this country. She, Shion and I traveled quite a ways. She's a good traveling companion, lemme tell you."

Jon stroked his chin, nearing a four-way. He shifted into neutral and held on the brake, making sure nobody was coming before making a left turn, back in the direction of the old warehouse.
Unsure how to word it, Jon thought back to when he first met Shion, way back on the beach. He had miraculously ended up ashore and she was one of the first he met. He fast forwarded through all the experiences he had, good AND bad, and could only think of one thing to say.
"Shion is a good friend of ours. A good friend of mine. Someone who needs a helping hand right now. She's counting on us and we're not gonna let her down, not as long as I'm still standing."

"Shion is at the warehouse. I'm pulling up now."
Jon pressed the button and disengaged the headlights, watching the lights retract into their compartment. Shifting into neutral, he pulled on the parking brake and cut the engine, which came to an abrupt stop. Grabbing his key, he threw open the door and stood, stretching after being stuck in the car.
"I can wait out here if you'd like. Or I can head inside to check on Shion. Would you rather I wait here and we'll go in together?"
