I'll admit that I don't like Mukuro either, not because I'm jealous, but because I find her character to be very boring. (I'm sorry to the fans, I'm just stating my opinion sweatdrop ) I don't think they are in love, even though there is emotion coming from both sides. I think that emotion is respect and care, but not love. I find their relationship to be more of a friend/friend, employer/employee type of thing. Mukuro did assign Hiei as her heir and general, and I find it hard to believe you would do that to someone you were in love with. I also don't see that type of connection people who are in love have. At least with Kurama, Hiei shared everything about his past with him verbally and willingly. Mukuro found out about by looking through his mind without permission. To me, this violates Hiei's code, but there is not much he can do about it as Mukuro is stronger than him. Also, there was a part in the manga where Hiei politely asked about her father, which resulted him getting the crap beat out of him. Why is it okay for Mukuro to know everything about Hiei, but not the other way around? At least he asked about it, rather than peaking into her mind. For this, I doubt Hiei could love her. I'm not saying he dislikes her, because that isn't true. I'm just saying that I don't think they share anything beyond a good friendship.

Yoshimi Urameshi Blackangel93 Tusyo Blackangel93 Tusyo O_< Hiei...is...NOT...gay! WHY WOULD YOU THINK THAT YOU !$^&%^%*^@#^#&^#@(^@)#@*&)#)@(@*@^#)&*@%$&)*^!&!*(&^@%^!^$%@!*^#*!(*@!^#!*^&*)^#*&!%#)*!$!^%#^!@%@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ....sorry....I get angry easily at this subject. HIEI IS NOT GAY!!!!!!!!!! (He falls in love in the Three Kings Saga anyway...*jealous*) i no hiei isn't gay but who does he fall in love with in the mangas(makuro probably)?he doesn't fall in love with anyone in the show.... I know he falls in love with Muruko in the manga, and I hate her for that (*jealous*), but I'm pretty sure they follow the same thing in the anime, if you go to the Yu Yu Hakusho website, and look at the episode summaries, the title for one of the episodes, where Hiei and Mukuro fight, has something to do with love. ;_; It makes me want to cry! I'M JEALOUS OF AN ANIME CHARACTER!!! My life is hopeless! yeah i have that episode on dvd...but i didn't really think much of it...not in that sens anyways....oh well atlest his happy right(i still dont like Makuro though....not because i'm jealous but because i find her character to be wierd like sluty wierd.....no offence to the people who like this caracter... sweatdrop )I think that cuz of one of the episodes....bleh! I think he's happy because Mukuro was treated the same way as he in a way... And he's glad someone knows how he feels... yeah i know i'm really happy for him but that doesn't change the fact that she's "wierd"

I would say yes,but that's just because I like yaoi,Kurama/Hiei,and I don't like Hiei with girls.
Still if Hiei really had to be with a girl,I'd rather it be Mukuro, since there are hint of that in the show.

It's pretty clear during the fight between Hiei and Mukuro though.

The creator himself said that they were JUST BEST FRIENDS in a Shounen Jump interview! Sure, I like the pairing, but I know it's NOT TRUE.

I'm not saying I myself can see it in the show, but if you really look for it,it is there.I'm talking about all that Hiei worries about Kurama, and Kurama worries about Hiei stuff. The stuff that we think as friendshipy thing, other take as Hiei and Kurama being together in the show. But,I myself don't really see it,unless,I look for it really hard.I know what Togashi said about it. An example: The second movie when Hiei used his Black Dragon and passed out,and Kurama held him. Some people said that it was because they were friends, but other took it and said that they must really love each other because of that. It really depends on how you look at it.

However, in the anime it is strongly suggested that they, in the least, have strong feelings for each other.

Personally, I think that the whole KxH thing isn't there...at all. They're just really good friends. It wouldn't bother me if it actually were true, but it just isn't. If it were, I might even be one of those people who are obsessing over it.^^"But it isn't, and I like the Mukuro pairing better simply because it's at least more realistic.
