Misty starts to doze off in the chair by the front desk as the fire warms the room. Just as she falls asleep there is a knock at the front door of the inn. Drowsy she awakens slowly and figures out someone is knocking.
"I wonder who that is? It is late but the inn door is not locked."

Jade looks out the window but cannot see who is outside knocking at the door. "I hope it is a new guest!"

"nn? A guest...? This late at night...hey, at least it's some business" Ichigo turns to face the door. She stands up and starts walking to the door.

"Well, we've had quite a night with squirrels, demons and now a sudden freeze in August."
Suddenly the lights began to flicker then went out. "Oh now what? Well at least we have the light of the fire." burning_eyes

Ichigo quickly runs a grabs a blanket and wraps it around Shep. "Here, go and sit by the fire. We don't you to get sick, now do we?"

shep walks over to the mysterious man and begins to whisper to him... only parts of the conversation were heard.
" is it safe yet? you know when ... and he hasn't returned.... i've been pretending to be a cleaner here and.... did you bring my axe?"

Misty overhears only part of a strange conversation in whispers from the two guys in the corner. She only catches something about an ax? She wonders what they are talking about. Perhaps Shep is going to chop some more firewood? But he just got some a few minutes ago and why are they whispering about it?
She goes and takes a seat by the fire, feeling the safety of the light and heat. "It is probably my imagination," she whispers to herself.

Ichigo over hears the conversation, but still acts as if she didn't hear anything. She touches a spot on her leg checking something. She hears Misty whisper something. "what is it...is something wrong?" She reaches for her jacket searching for something, she finds it and hands part to Misty and another part to Jade.
The object they held in their hands were different colored crystal necklaces. *wear them* she gestured.

Scedd looks around to get a good sense of the place b4 whispering to shep"its near my campsite just don't get it yet till i..."cuts off and looks at Ichigo for a second*left eye shimmers then stops*

Jade was sitting on a stool on the other side of the room. She does not hear the conversation of the two men. Jade wonders why Ichigo is giving her a present to wear but she puts it on. "Thank you," she says quizically as she sees that Ichigo has a look of concern on her face. confused

Misty slipped on the necklace that Ichigo gave her and gave an appreciative nod to her. She whispers, "I only heard something about an ax?"
