Admalia sighed and shook her head. Why did they run off on their own? She shook her head and then looked around the park again. "Anyone else want to take off before I start my work? I want to teach you guys how to survive but I can't if you run off on me." A pickle went down her neck again telling her something else was about the park. She looked at the two rremaining students before nodding taking their silence as that they would not be leaving. "First when tracking the unknown....stop and listen." There wasn't a sound in the park other then their breathing. "Its too quiet so there must be something here. Get under the cover of the trees and stay low to the ground."

It was another glorious night for hunting and perhaps this hunt. There were humans about and Sanura would be there to have her way with them. She didn't much care about the other vampire that she smelt elsewhere. It wasn't her maker and there were human's enough for them all. She walked to the start of a path into the park guiding an unsuspecting man into the solitude within the park area where she could feast on him.

On the roof, the lone shadow rested. Her mind watching all of this happening... She would make an appearance soon, afterall, that was why she moved here. It was going to be time where the fated few would have to end it all and reborn a new essence into the world. A new guiding, a new way. And she knew for a fact that she was one of them... and also knew for a fact, that many did of the few did not know of themselves as well as she did them or herself.

"I can wait." he said, as he walked in behind Brendan.
"Besides, isn't this part of our project?" he asked, as he shut and locked the door behind him. Turning back to Brendan, he continued "I mean, Ms. Granger said 'something' was following her. And I think 'something' might have been following you, too." he said, glancing out the window. "I'm not just going to leave you here; you're not going off alone, again. But if you want privacy, I can just wait here, then."

Damn...I feel like there's something out there...they said you should pay attention to this feeling.
Might as well check; if I can take it, I can take it. If I can't, a door isn't going to slow it down. he thought.
Frustratedly, he said "You've got your privacy; I'm going to check outside the house." he said as he opened the door and stepped out. "Happy screwing." he said as he closed the door behind him.
He looked around as he slowly walked around near the door.
Stay near the door. If there is something, keep it from getting inside, get in first if you can and shut the door, buy some time...
Nothing...maybe it's just a feeling...but I'm almost sure something is out here.
Wait...I forgot to look up. Don't forg- he thought as he walked out from under the roof and looked up, directly into Hikari's blue eyes.
He immediately raised his hands at her, fingers spread, but stopped when he recognized her.
A classmate; Takayama Hikari. What is she doing here? He remembered Brendan's lookalike. Another lookalike, a shapeshifter? he wondered. Still, it could be her.
"What the f*ck are you doing on Alyzandra's roof?"

Hikari looked at him expressionlessly. Her voice was soft and whispy when she spoke, but full of power, equally as expressionless as her face. "First of all, I would rather you not direct an expletive at me. As to your question... answer me this. Why should I NOT be here? I am not intruding upon him, staying outside. And I am not bothering him. What am I doing wrong?"
With a gentle sweep, she leapt off the roof silently. "The shadows called me here. That's why." Her eyes found the strangers. "What is your name?"

Stan blinked. "Alright, I won't."
"You can call me Stan." he said, still keeping his hands raised at her as she jumped off the roof.
Shadows called her here?
"You were standing on Alysandra's roof; not exactly the most common place for an evening's stroll." he said, sarcastically.
"Alysandra and Brendan have already been followed by 'something'; a 'creature' up to no good. If you talk to shadows and jump on roofs, you probably already know what I'm talking about. And I know there's at least one 'something' around here."
"Now, who, or what, are you? And what are you doing here?"

"What does it matter who or what I am? You know my name, it does not suit me at all... As for the creature, the shadows have informed me. But neither of us knows what it is or of its whereabouts." She looked at him with a stoney face. "We've been tailing it for a week... that's why you haven't seen me often in class." The twelve year old snapped her fingers and a raven flew from the sky to her wrist.
"Kuro, will you check the perameters of the seeker?" The raven nodded and flew off.
"They say the thing is near, I'm checking for it. I think my friends and I have targeted its main position... we should have it shortly."

What do you mean, what does it matter? Ah, whatever; she's just trying to be 'mysterious'. The odds of me getting a straight answer if I ask "What do I call you?" are slim to none.
"Fine. I'll just call you just Hikari, then." he said, lowering his hands and leaning against the wall.
If what she says is true, I guess I'm working with her.
"Brendan and Alyzandra are busy with something inside, so I guess it's just you, me, and your friends. I'm ready."

Hikari saw Kuro flying back. Her eyes narrowed when the raven spoke. "The sentries lost it? That's not good... Will you call the generals please?" Kuro made a few piercing caws into the air. A small flock of ravens appeared from different points and flew around the three, landing on the ground, roof, and other perches.
"Moon and Sara, post five each on the eastern ring please." Two of the ravens nodded.
"Kira and Yui, you're on the west ring, five each." Another two nodded.
"Nari, you're stationed on north, but post twelve sentries and a guard for each two, same with southside, Kasia. Finally, please post your scouts in the lightest reaches. I know this is odd, but keep them visible. Place the assasins in the darker sides. I will have shadows to aid you." Every bird caws in reply.
"Kuro, wheel check please. Dismissed." The raven army dispersed. Kuro, the ravenqueen wheeled overhead, serving as sattelite.
"We can't take any chances, I have my little army of ravens and shadow wraithes out on defense and semi offense already. There's little we can do until they sight something. Unless if you can get a seeker."

Well, she's got an army. A pint sized army, but still an army.
"A seeker?" he asked. "Sorry, but I'm a little new to tracking. Ms. Granger might be able to help, but I didn't get her contact number."
He sighed. "I guess we wait, then. At least nothing is trying to eat us. Yet." he chuckled.

"It's not out to eat us." Hikari replied. "Rather, you are right in an aspect... it seems as if it is collecting powerful souls. I've read an analysis after compiling the ravens' findings... it leads to a soul eater."

((I've seen not only the OVA of X, but the whole series. Not the movie though))
Brendan glaced back at Stan for a moment as he went out trough the door and shrugged. Right now it was more important that he got to talk to Lyz. "A sandwich sounds fine" he said as he followed her to the kitchen. "Is anyone else here that I should be aware of?"

Brandon watched the two people outside of the house. His hearing was good enough for him to hear every word they said, so he was well aware that there were now lookouts. "Pah, upstart weaklings" he though to himself. He know that even if the shadows were eager to help the girl, they were just as eager to help him as well. They could turn out to be a problem in a long run however, and he was thinking that maybe he should eat after all. That was, if they would give him any trouble. Right now he'd prefer just watching and waiting. Blowing the cover was not a part of the plan. He couldn't help a smile when hearing that they thought he was a shapeshifter.

The communicator that Stan carried vibrated telling him that someone was trying to get ahold of him and possibly Brendan.

In the park Admalia shivered slightly as the couple walked through the park. She had pressed the page button to try and get her students back together. They were far too wide spread for her liking.
It wasn't until the couple walked under a solitary light post that Admalia gapped at the sight. It was her sister....long taken by the creatures of evil and who she wanted to free.
It seemed that Sanura felt an odd shiver as well for her looked about and sniffed the air even. Therre...she smelled a scent that was most familar and yet she had not smelled it in well over 10 years. Her eyes narrowed and looked around the park until her escore paused and looked at her trying to find out what was wrong. "Nothing...I was...just looking at the trees. " Sanura frowned a little getting the feeling that she would not be able to feed tonight after all.
