Sora only smirked, returning all the water into his battle pack. Turning towards the door again he opened it and looked back grinning.
"Deal, after you replace what you've ruined we'll fight then."
With that he was gone, towards the stairs.

"Fine," he hissed, fists still clenched and teeth still gritting as he watched Sora leave. Shelden stood there for a few moments, his anger still raging around despite it begin over for now, his body still shaking in fury. Finally he took a deep breath, beginning to mutter inaudibly under his breath as he stormed through the kitchen door and to the front room of the inn. He marched over to the fire place, keeping his eyesight straight and down as he sat a swiftly yanked on his boots. His robes weren't quite finished drying, though he hadn't intended to waste time putting them on anyways, wet or not.
With a final tug Shelden had both boots on. He flipped up onto his feet, marching to the door and attempted to unlatch it without tearing the chain off. He continued muttering under his breath, the words fading in and out and beginning to switch between the common and elvin tongue. Finally he got the chain off and quickly yanked the door open, the feel of the cold air inviting to him for once.
He stood there in the doorway a moment, staring outside. He wanted to get away from this place as far as he could manage. He was angry and unhappy and if it got any worse he'd go and make himself sick. With another swift suck in of breath he went out, shutting the door firmly behind him.
The snow had lightened up now, falling in a light powder. Shelden stared at it a moment, looking around and noticing the areas scarred from the battle earlier. He frowned, turning the opposite direction and making his way away from town. In a few minutes he was a good distance away, the town just a dark outline in the distance behind him. Shelden took a deep breath, plopping down right where he was standing in the snow. He placed his face in his hands, resting his elbows on his knees as he took a few deep breaths. Slowly he began to mutter something, a sort prayer in his own language. He continued, the words slowly falling into rhythm as he said them. He shivered, the cold getting to him slowly though he ignored it, focusing hard and continuing with his prayer.

Sora blinked watching from his window as the elf left, with a small sigh he noticed the battle worn lands and smiled at a small idea, slipping on his cloak he made a mad dash for outside, in moment he was outside grinning as the cool weather seemed to revitalize him, the water about in the air making him alive.
"Ahh, I love the snow..."
He said, his breath comming in white puffs of frozen air, he grinned and taking a stance once he was far enough from the inn began to undo as much of the damage as he could, the ice he'd created turning to water then snow, the wall of ice bursting into snow as well as he continued this for some time.

Shelden blinked, halting in his prayer and looking up from his hands because of the sounds he heard. He blinked and frowned a bit, noticing Sora messing around with the snow. He rolled his eyes a bit and grunted, looking back towards the ground in front of him. He stared at the snow as though studying it before dipping his hand in and rolling the snow in his hands. He crushed it in his palm, another shiver coming from the coldness. He was beginning to think that leaving his robes was a bad thing, his underclothes certainly not serving as decent winter gear, especially since they’d been wetted from the water used before.

Sora smiled as he was just about finished the remains of his ice tree the only thing left to return to powdery goodness, grinning as he did so he rubbed his cold arms and sighed, adjusting his cloak he looked towards the moon and smiled, the cloak's hood falling back revealing his hair, his eyes sparkling at the sight of the glowing rock he couldn't help but seem to day dream now, of the cooling refreshing waters of his home, at least they had once been that way...

Shelden sighed, throwing down the snow and rubbing his arms to form some warmth friction. He brought up a small fire aura around himself for warmth, getting up and swiping the snow and dirt from his pants. Wrapping his arms around himself he turned around and headed back for the inn, staring at the ground blankly almost the entire way.
He glanced up as he passed, noticing Sora change the ice tree he'd formed into more snow. He gave a slight frown.
'Stupid water bending show-off...' he mouthed silently to himself as he approached the inn door, opening it up and going inside. He sighed, once again welcoming the warmth as he'd done the first time before heading over to the fireplace. He grabbed his tome from up top, sitting down cross-legged in front of the flames. He reached over and dug through his travelers pack, finding a quill, ink, and a clean sheet of parchment. Unrolling the parchment, he spread it over the cover of the tome and dipped the quill in the ink, beginning to write carefully.

Magdalena shook her head in a sigh and leaned herself against the counter. She stared with mild irritation and concern at the table, thinking about Shelden and Sora. She ran a hand through her midnight hair, wrapping it behind her as she stood and half-stretched. Her eyes glanced around and stopped at Envy.
"I don't suppose you know anything about how long it takes humans and elves to grow up, do you?" She asked dryly. She hoped that the pair would quit their pety quarreling and get along...especially now that Shelden had been forced into helping Sora.

Envy smiled at Magdalena. "It depends on the elf and the human, though there are rummors that elves are supposed to be wise..." She said with a smile. "Then again, Sometimes I wonder how that rumor got started..." She said with a chuckle.

Sora came through the door a rather wide grin upon his face, his face rather red from the cold, but he seemed in better spirits as he set him self by the fire and laid on the floor soaking up the heat. He sighed happily shutting his eyes, letting the water from his wet clothing puddle out around him, small figures comming up form the water they danced about him like little fairies.

Shelden watched Sora with testy suspicion, scooting away a bit when the water bender laid down in near the fireplace. He continued writing, flipping through the book and pulling out what seemed like old parchments to read them over before refolding them and replacing them in the pages. He etched a few more words, re-inking his pen and catching sight of the water dancing around Sora. He blinked, raising an eyebrow while giving a small confused frown before looking away and returning what he was doing.
'Best keep my mouth shut, or he'll over react and I'll end up doing something else I don't want too...' He thought to himself, looking and rereading what he'd written.

The water swayed to and fro before seeping into his pack vanishing from sight. Sora himself only looked towards the cieling sighing contently as he swurled a small ring of water with his finger, grinning at the thoughts in his head, he knew the elf would walk outside sometime.

Shelden continued writing, giving Sora side glances of suspicion once in a while as he did. Eventually he sighed, looking at the paper once more before giving a satisfied nod. He blew gently on the page to help the ink dry faster, carefully folding it and placing it in between one of the pages of his tome.
"I'm thirsty..." He muttered to himself. Shelden stood up, setting the tome back in its original place on top the fireplace. He corked the ink bottle, setting it back in his pack, the quill still in hand as he needed to clean it off before putting it away. He took a deep breath, walking around Sora's sprawled figure despite his desire to simply step on the water bender and headed for the kitchen to make himself more tea.

Magdalena blinked and thought a moment. She made a quiet laugh and sat herself down. "I suppose most of them are, if not provoked. But they are good cooks. At least Shelden is." She said with a warm smile. Magdalena tilted her head to the side, her raven black hair falling gently along. She looked solomnly to Envy a minute.
"So what are you here for?" She asked curiously.

Shelden hummed lightly to himself as he entered the kitchen, glancing at Magdalena and Envy before searching out the kettle he'd used before. He glanced around, a small frown crossing his face.
"Is the water reserve empty?" He asked, noticing an empty bucket that looked like it had been filled with water before. He looked around a bit, making sure he hadn't missed any sort of special tank reserve the inn might have.

Magdalena blinked. She looked at the bucket and shrugged. She didn't know either. She made a thought and a grin.
"Well, if it is, you could always ask the helpfull water bender if he has any to spare." She said. She walked over to Shelden and patted his shoulder before turning into an owl and made perch on his head once more. She seemed comfy, ruffling her feathers and getting herself situated. She yawned and burried her head in her back and nodded off.
