Chloe stretched, but the movement was interrupted by the rumbling of her stomach. Scratching her head sheepishly, she laughed.
"I guess its time for some lunch."
Kaze instantly perked up, "CHAR!"
Chloe sat down, unpacking a few things to make something to eat.

Munching on a sandwich, Chloe looked up to the sky. Kaze was sitting next to her, chowing down on a bowl of Pokemon food.
"Hopefully it won't rain," Chloe murmured, taking another bite of her sandwich.
Kaze looked up to Chloe, then the sky, which was still clear. "Char!"

Kaze finished up eating, licking the bowl clean to make sure he got everything. Chloe finished up her sandwich as well, packing everything back up into her bag.

"Alright, first thing's first," Chloe started, rising from her seat at the base of the tree, brushing off her cargo pants in the process.
Kaze looked up expectantly, "Char?"
"Well, maybe some target practice with you Ember?" Chloe suggested, looking up to the branches of the tree she was seated under.
"Nope, not that one..."

Kaze nodded, noting the tree as well.
"So do you want to start close, and then we'll move back, to see how far you can aim from?" Chloe asked.

Stepping back, the Charmander inhaled, releasing a ball of fire. The flame orb crackled, before hitting an Oran berry right in the center, knocking the sizzling fruit from the tree.
"Great shot!" Chloe grinned.

This one was a little off, scorching the trunk of the Oran berry tree. The black mark sizzled.
"Chrrrr," Kaze muttered, narrowing his eyes.
"Aw, don't be mad, that was a close one," Chloe said, patting Kaze on the back. "I'm sure you can hit it if you try again."
Kaze got a determined look in his eyes. Sniffing, he headed to the other side of the clearing.
"You're going even farther away?" Chloe asked, curious. "You think you can make it?"
