Trunnk Jasae Bushae Trunnk Scarlet Jile Jasae Bushae i wish the sold them in alaska crying all i have is an starter deck of my mushroom legions stare Ebay, my young friend. Ebay. I would agree with Jile since there is still Vots and ND box out there for cheap i dont do online shopping stare evil hackers stressed yeah few people know its coming back i had gone to a1 comics (my card shoppe) to find out if they where getting more in he believes that its an old game that has been retired crying there not going to bring back the original game again, it will be a whole new game just same story... logic would say why would they come out with a release of the old game, when there is tons of Cards and sets that are above Base set if there was a tournament old players would rock just because they have more choices and probably better cards... i.e. try playing against Dark Twins with just Base set stuff its not to pretty... SO to invite more players to play and for to attact the die hards the company will have to come out with a Set that is all its own but still say universe when it comes to story and Mechanics (since there Copy righted) I would guess they will have new backs and other sets won't be allowed... But 2i is/was a very giving company[how many companys have animite points for free cards] and I could easily see them allow past cards or them reprint everyone favorite cards/charactors... The point is more that the game comes back period, cause if it doesn't then why are we here talking about it, when its almost impossible to teach people to like a game that doesn't exist. Ah... but your logic forgets that they could always do the the magic bit, and have only the most recent cards count for certain tournaments and include the older ones in others... And seeing as the reason it was such a great game wasn't just the story, nor just the sweet mechanics, from the people I've talked to/heard from they almost all played largely do to the graphics *bows to the golden statue of the great and mighty Holmburg*. If they really start printing 'new' cards they'll either have to get the greats back, which will probably cost a little more then just getting new people all together which could hurt in further pissing off their fan base. I could see them actually printing TR at some point just because they have all the art and all the problems of the set squared away... they just lacked the cash to mass produce it at the time. My bet is on Second Edition being what they sell when they start up again. They had already been working/planing on it for some time before even TR. It's probably all done already since they were mostly going to be reprints of erratad and seriously popular cards anyway, just needed some new shiner art which if I recall they had quite a bit of done before they started letting people go. Just like magic with their what? 9 core sets is it up to now? that people still buy a ton of even though they already have a ton of it... rolleyes

points taken but Magi-Nation has always tried to be different than Magic, (less wasteful) if Magi-Nation was like Magic they wouldn't allow Demo or old Promos as playable cards... And Magi-Nation had a no-Banning policy...
IMO the game is dead to the world, People I ask don't even know what it is... It makes more sense for them to Make an whole new game with same art and same Mechanics,(I would even suggest a new name to the game, like Moonlands, since Magi-Nation sounds to much like Magic) think of it from a retailer point of view why would I invest 100+ dollars in a Booster/Decks to a game that came and went, in most parts of the US in 2 years. And now its been over 2 years since they producted anything! Many retailer would say no way, until it went crazy like Pokemon, if your lucky...
I'm sure they would rehire or keep on Matt Holmberg since he has made almost all the Second Order art and your right why waste art pieces? But I think they will have to Start over (and maybe more backwards) since this is a Business we are talking about and its all about the bottom line. And to stay out of the red, you need new players and no one wants to play a game that they have no chance of winning...
Bottom line is that they do something, your way or mine something...

DeathArisen Tue Dec 06, 2005 11:54 am
1.) Name DeathArisen, IRL: James Elder 2.) Preferred deck-type Bograth Swarm 3.) Why do you play? For fun, but I really liked the flavor of the game before it stopped in my area. 4.) Why do you wish to join? No one in my area plays or likes the game anymore, and I'm looking forward to being able to chat/play online games with people who share my interest in MN. 5.) Any ideas or suggestions? Not really.
Another new Member everyone Say hi and welcome

you know what i should of found this thread out (man i am so lazy). well i guess i found the cafe and now i can just sit down and type all about magi-nation (sorry if i sound addicted well i am hehe)
my duty when i started to play magi-nation was to collect all orothe cards from all sets so far im not complete but at least my deck will speak for me. if i can find anybody in my country that plays this overwhelming addicitive game then i wouldnt have to be typing about and plus my brother stopped going to gaia he is probably now preoqupied(sp) with all the new games he got for the xbox (man i wished they had magi-nation for either the gamecube or the xbox that would be so cool).
well anyways thats pretty much it for what i got to say cause im pretty much bored with all this research on both school stuff and magi-nation although i consider magi-nation to be more fun.

anyone here think we should make a IM either Yahoo or Aol's the official League IM? I would be willing to get either one to battle or talk with someone in real time verse posts, plus it would come more in handy for Card table or Appr...

Shameless plug: http://www.gaiaonline.com/avatararena/index.php?mode=vote&postid=302 whee I've looked at the Yahoo Groups MND stuffs and things hardly seemed to have been moving there, so I left it be. As for AIM playing that will be difficult to organize since not everyone interested can always be on at the same time. I, for one, am a 3rd shift worker, so I'm usually asleep in the afternoon/early evening when most are usually able to.

I had one submitted last week. It didn't do too well. For some reason everyone thought I was a freak for wearing the butterfly wings...
But anyways, as for the official IM for the guild, MSN is pretty good. Either that or Yahoo. AIM and I have never gotten along very well.
