"Perhaps," Eilla began to say, looking over at him, still void of emotion. "Perhaps the name of Suzaku shall jog your mind?" Her eyes were judging him, and she was quite sure he could feel it. For, she stood there in the train station and she was boring deep wholes into his mind, wishing to see, wishing to find who he was, why he had her powers. None of this seishi business made much sense, but she wanted her power back so she could go on with her fight.

Kyo blinked. Suzaku. Suzaku. Familiar, but...
"Oh, yeah! Wasn't there a villain named that in that one show, ah, c'mon, we watched it as kids Uremi, what was it called...?"
"Yu Yu Hakusho," Takashi supplied numbly.
"Yeah!" he scowled. "What th' hell does that have t'do with me?"
"Somehow I don't think that's who they mean..." his friend remarked, voice still sounding somewhat faraway. Because the name meant something to him, and he couldn't place it at all... all he knew was, when that woman said it, he felt as if... as if Kyo was about to be snatched away... and that he had to do something to stop it at all costs...

Kitty Little Korin-Chan "Foolish twit." She snarled in a glutteral tone, a similar tone to that of her lupine form, "More fool her when he tears her apart and steals her the only thing that sets her apart from the rest...I pity her." "My setiments precisely," Ryu stepped silently into the lamplight by the injured Keiko. "And what is your take on this faux dieu?" "If I could put my feelings in to words I would let you know," she muttered softly, her lips rising into a grimace as she sat back against the bench and continued to stare at the wall, "I was not born yesterday and I have already heard of his plans...his accusations that I am a thief when he, the one who intends to 'reclaim' our powers is the one stealing them from us...we were given them in a birthright NOT him." She hissed and then released a quiet chuckle.
"Then again...Who would want MY gift?"

With a shy smile, Charles lowers his pant leg and rubs the back of his head. "That is not too far off, actually. Same basic idea- four powerful godlike beings. Each one in the form of a kind of animal. Suzaku the phoenix, Genbuu the turtle, Byakko the tiger, and Seiryu the dragon. This time though, they are the good guys. That mark means you are powered by Suzaku as one of her warriors. Each one has seven . . . any of that make sense to you yet?"

Kyo barked out a nervous laugh. "Powered by Suzaku? You gotta be shittin' me, right? Damn, an' here I thought you were gonna give me a real answer." He turned his back on the boy and towards his friend. "When's th' next train comin', Uremi? I need t'get home an' prep myself fer th' hangover from hell."
The other youth offered no response, so Kyo prodded him sharply in the ribs. "Oi, Uremi...!"
Takashi jerked, glancing up at his comrade. He blinked a couple of times, his eyes sliding back and forth between Kyo and the strangers on the platform. Why did these names mean anything to him? If they weren't bothering Kyo, who these people were far more interested in, then why should it...?
He shook his head and put a tense hand on Kyo's arm, leading the drunken young man further down the platform. "Good plan. It should be here pretty quick."
As an afterthought, he shot a warning look over his shoulder, a look that he hoped wouldn't be missed by these unusual people. They didn't know how dangerous he could be, even in his current condition, and he doubted that they wanted to find out.

Jun'ko Taji (arsenicjunkie) "Yeah..." Jun'ko said, still smiling at him. She seemed to regain her senses for a moment and cocked her head at him. "I don't think I got your name. Ryu found an ironic amusement is Keiko's words; "our powers" which "we were given." It almost sounded to him as if she implied they were comrades. In the past, Seiryuu Shichi Seishi Tomo had not once considered himself to be on some sort of team. He, like so many others, was used. Unlike those so many others, he understood his position fully, and accepted it. No, he relished in it. He was the confidante to the mastermind, and when he could make himself useful no more, he became as easily expendible as the others. It was inevitable. But in the end, they had failed, though not for their lack of team work. Or perhaps it was... ss Ryu contemplated it further, he could begin to see where perhaps a mutual effort may have been beneficial. Not that it mattered in his present life... until now.
He flashed a serious glare as Kigen glanced their way a second time. Ryu's narrow eyes remained frighteningly serious and unblinking, even as he took another sip of his coffee, which, much to his dismay was beginning to cool.

Watching the drunk pair go, Charles sighs and decides to wait for the next train. Looking to Ellia with a shy smile he chuckles. "Well . . . that could have gone better!" In truth, Charles had little worry that the man would come back. Somehow that pull is undenyable and will compell him back to the group. Such is how the Seishi works. Hopefully he will be sober next time . . .

Eill, who in part felt responsible for the boy having left, took his comment as a jab at her expense. This resulted in a cold glare from her.; True, the glare lasted but a second, but it was quite obvious she had not enjoyed the comment. Sitting down on the bench, she wondered if they would see any other seishi. Or rather, she wondered if she would ever have her powers back.

Despite meaning that both of them did not handle the meeting well, Charles is taken aback by the ice in Ellia's eyes. Neither of them were what they should have been- her too cold and him to blunt. Still, his companion seemed to think it was a personal attack. The question is, should he apologize and tell her it was aimed at them both, or just drop it?
Judging from the glare he recieved, the latter seems to be less painful. Turning to the station itself, Charles remains silent as he waits for the next train. Boy . . . for a seishi she sure is angry- and cold. I though suzaku was fire? I would bet this one has ice in her veins! Charles thinks as he waits.

Kyo slumped over on the subway bench, rubbing at his arm as if he could will the strange symbol to disappear. He glanced over at Takashi, who continued to pace back and forth on the platform, shooting nervous glances in the direction of the two strangers, now a good ways off. Kyo raised an eyebrow. "What's th' matter, Uremi?"
"I'm jus'... those two're jus'... I dunno... didn't they make ya nervous at all?"
"Not really." Kyo said it with a shrug, but he rubbed even harder against his shirt sleeve. "They're obviously jus' a couple-a Tokyo nuts, y'know, th' kind we used t'hear about back home. Either that, or they've been drinkin' too, an' it's jus' harder t'tell. But c'mon, what they were sayin' didn't make any sense!"
"We didn't really stick around to let it make sense, either..."
"You want to go back an' talk to 'em?" Kyo queried.
"Do you?"
They stared at each other for a long moment, trying to read into the other one's thoughts. Finally Takashi looked away, waving a dismissive hand. "Screw 'em. Ain't got nothin' t'do with us, anyway."
"Yeah," Kyo agreed.
But neither of them could keep their eyes from flitting, again and again, towards the unusual pair at the far edge of the platform...

He would not have to work towards "converting" her to his caus..and this would help in "recruiting" the others until he could find out how to get his power back. At this point, as she looked around him towrds the others at the bench, he kept his stance but also faced them with his posture. It had to be her...and the other one..he was one of them...and already they were talking..that could be bad...he had not had time to "straighten out" his enoucounter with the Ex-Lupine yet. And this could work against him. For the moment..he was actually a bit lost in what to do and how to engage these ones..but he knew he would have to do it quickly before things got stickier than they already were.::
