Jack gives Akane a reproachful look, too caught up in the tragic demise of the bottle to even realize he has a female lying on him. "How could you do that to that poor rum...it was so innocent!"

Akane quirks her eyebrows at Jack, didn't notice William Turner walk away in hunt for his love, Elizabeth. She swats at his nose sharpily and narrows her eyes at him "So you care more about the rum than me?? I can see it now.. you drinking your life away while being alone.. tsk.. sad vision but I guess I couldn't stop it" She sticks her tongue out at him

"It's not my fault you killed my rum..." Jack gives Akane a baleful stare, then blinks as her comment finally made it's way through his rum-addled mind. "Now why would I care more about rum than you, Akane? But a nikko really craves...companionship once in a while..." His paws slid caressingly up her body, holding her against him. "But the only thing that seems to be willing to give me any these days is my rum."

Akane scoffs quietly at his accusation of her "killing" his rum before she quirked her eyebrows as his old self start to showing through the drunk haze he have been in. She shakes her head grinning impishly "I am sorry but we don't do that companionship thing until we become mates.. thats the unspoken rule of Lakia Mountains"

"So I've gathered...that's a rough thing though, love. Settling down with one female is just asking for trouble, after all." Jack smiles at Akane, his paws continuing their slow caresses. "How are you supposed to know if a female is any good if you can't spend time together before getting tied to her? She might wind up to be a dud, and then you're stuck. It's much better this way...and it prevents boredom. The same stuff all the time is tiring, after all; surely you females must agree on that."

Settling down with one female doesn't mean you are asking for trouble... it could mean that you could get all of satisfication and not get bored if you find the right female" She rolls her eyes at his caresses, resisting the urge to just pounce on him and take him

"It could, but how are you supposed to find the right female without proper sampling? The potential for satisfaction is there, but so is the potential for lack thereof. I couldn't imagine the sufferings that would come from a bland and unadventurous female..." Although still a bit tipsy, the current stimulant was more than enough to keep Jack focused and on topic...or rather, the topic on him.

"Personal satisfaction comes from different outlets.. it doesn't have to be inimate." She countered before she rolls her eyes at him "And I don't see any bland and boring females around lately, all of them are lively and fiesty as always and what about me? am I bland and unadventurous" She throws the verbal barb at him as she gets off him.

"Maybe to some males, but I'm rather fond of that second kind, myself." Jack strokes a paw down Akane's leg as she gets off of him, determined to try and change her mind a bit. It'd been far too long since he'd been able to spend some quality time with a female, and Akane definitly had all the traits that promised a good time for both of them. "I dinna know if I'd agree with you on lively and feisty, love; take Skylar, for instance. Lovely lass, but far too serious about everything. And there are others like her, at that..." He stood up, managing to steady himself as he walked up to Akane, rubbing himself against her side. "And bland and unadventurous aren't applicable to you, love; you're defintily an exciting one." He purred at her, his tone light and seductive. "Just looking at you, any male can tell you're no innocent, Akane...what harm would it do to have a little fun? Surely you enjoy it...."

Akane swats at Jack's paw playfully before she shakes her head grinning at Jack. She sits down in front of him, trying to act indifferent toward his come on attitude "I may enjoy it but I rather if I follow the rules. Aye I know I am exciting but that doesn't mean I will bend the rules just for you Jack." She nibbles on his neck and purrs deeply, grinning because she is enjoying the effect she is having on him

Jack, however, was determined not to get swayed; the nibbling was very enjoyable, and he wanted it to continue, with extra. "Ah, but you do enjoy it; therefore, it's not an unknow experience to you. But I don't see a mate at your elbow, trying to fend me away...so you must not be totally adverse to a little rule bending." He slides his paws around her waist and pulls her snuggly against him, stroking her sides lightly. "Besides, rule-bending can be fun..."

Akane laughs lightly before she shakes her head, nudging him away from her grinning impishly. "I may like it but I will stick to the rules, rules are fun to follow ne?" She teases him as she dances away from Jack's arms giggling "But this is soo much fun for me right now"

Jack harrumphs slightly and flops down on the floor again, licking at the boards where the rum had spilled. "Rules are no fun at all." stare He sighs, finally deciding that maybe there was no such thing as fun in domestication. He'd have to stock up on more rum...

Akane leans against the wall nearby and watches Jack before she rolls her eyes. "Perhaps for you my love.. but its fun for me.." She mumurs in nonchalant tone while her tail swishes back and forth in slight agiated manner while watching him trying in vain to get to the rum.

After a few minutes of effort, Jack gave up in despair, staring down dejectedly at the dark patch where the floorbards had sopped up the rum. Selfish boards, not even saving him a single drop; no rum, no companionship...talk about a lousy evening. Akane could just give him a little bit; after all, she'd been the one to kill his poor rum.
