Maki was getting irritated with the verbal battle rattles bouncing back and forth. She nudged Greeds elbow and whispered, "I noticed when he held his hand up to absorb Chase's flames he was in pain. He may not have shown it but he did favor the hand that took the flames. Maybe to stop him is to cut the source of the chains down ... his hands."
As Maki watched Chase and Whiteheart continue their verbal fencing, her temper rose and shouted "Oh GAWD! Would you just SHUT UP! Leave or Knit a damn sweater already! Your killing me with this chatter!"

Greed turned his head towards Maki, and whispered to her "Yeah i noticed that as well, the spirit links must not be as strong as he thinks, or the chains are where his strength lies and his body is weak. But i hope Chase doesnt go with him" Greed turned his head back to Whiteheart and Chase

"Yes, I would perfer to." Chase said as she glanced at Maki And Greed as if she had a plan. "I don't care which continent, just as long as we get off this pathetic island." Chase was up to something more than just going after the orb, and she hid it well. At this point nobody could really guess if she was good or evil. Chase then turned and started to walk off, "And I wont wait." She said as she left them and walked off.
{Just a heads up, I'm leaveing over easter so I wont be able to get on. I'll probably be back on monday, but until then you guys can control my charater a bit if you need to. Sorry, about leaving though. sweatdrop }

Greed looked at Chases eyes and it seemed as if she was telling him that she would be ok and had something planned, he turned his head to Maki " Chase will be ok, we got to think of something to do now in our search"

Maki nodded, as she concentrated on whiteheart. She watched Chase soar off into the distance, she knew she must have planned something just now, now all they can do is wait for her to make the first move.

Greed turned around showing his back to Whiteheart "Lets go Maki, I have something I need to do before we leave" He started to head back to his manor

whiteheart headed off with chase satisfied with getting only a few of the souls from this island and then two walked off into the forest. as they did greed and maki seemed to be going off as well.
"well then I guess we can head to Zilbul Bedonis then, you ok to fly yes?"
whiteheart walked though the forest with her for some time, there were monsters in the forest, but whiteheart with Chase made an intimidating party to look at. then the shore came in to view through the forest trees. whiteheart chains shot from his body and griped around about five trees.
he pulled the trees out of the ground and laid them on the ground in a row. all his chain lifted into the air letting go of the trees.
two of the long chains lit up red and came crashing down on the far ends of the trees, they cut the roots and the branches off. he did this a few times with more trees, then once he had enough his chains wrapped around the logs and held them tight together. weaving in and out of the logs the chains made the logs form a raft. it didn't have a sail just a big flat base which was two logs thick.
walking on to the raft whiteheart used his chains again to push out to sea. Chase could easily fly across to the other continent, but whiteheart pulled her on the boat for now.
"just rest for now, we will get there in time."
whiteheat sat down in the centre of the raft and more chains came from his coat. it made the raft into a more boat like shape, with a bow and rear to it now. a few chains released out the back and started to flap in the water, pushing the boat forwarded and out to see.

Greed and Maki made it back to his manor and walked inside and he went up to his library "Where is that damned book, i know its around here somewhere" Greed went looking shelf after shelf for one book in particular " I need to find that book, then we may leave here"

As Greed kept looking through the shelves of book he spoke to maki "Its a rather old book, its spine is tattered and the cover dull and worn. It contains a spell i must cast to portect the island from intruders. I will need your help to cast it though"

"Okay," she said peering on the high shelves. On the fourth shelf just out of her own reach she turned to Greed pointing to a high shelf above her head. "Is this the book?"

Greed looked up to see where she was pointing "Yes that is the book" greed pointed hsi finger at it and it came floating down off the shelf and into his hands. he began to flip through the pages of the book untill he got to a certain page "This is the book, now all i have to do is memorize the spell then we can get out of here"

Greed looked at the spell and memorized its words "Maki all you have to do is say the spell as I do. It will only work if two people say it at the same time" he handed her the book and pointed to where the spell began "Let me know when your ready
