Sam stopped then turned around, hearing Jared. "Yes," she said walking to the enterance of the cave.

Jared smiled at Sam as he saw her again. "Nothing just... seeing if you were still here..." he said as he blushed, realizing he was worried. "Jared, Jared, Jared." he imagined his father teasing him. "Just tell her how you feel." He never had this advice given to him, but he had read about it in his books.

"Ok," she said then left again, her wolf followed after her.

Jared cracked his neck again and stood up. He looked around the cave and saw the mural he made for his father. Tears rolled down his cheeks and he sat on his knees infront of his fathers photo.

Sam watched quietly a deer who was grazing. Sam grabbed her knife's handle then sneaked around the bushes as her wolf walked the opposite direction of her. Sam looked to her wolf as it jumpped out and bit the deer's leg. Sam sighed, then aimed her knife throwing it at the neck stunning it. Sam then cut the deer's neck deep making it die. Sam cleaned her knife by a near by river then dragged the deer back with her wolf pushing behind.

Jared sat there teary eyed for a short time. His memories brief and satisfying and he wiped his tears from his cheeks. "Father.... You were the only person who really understood me.... But i must leave you in my past." He whispered to the picture as his fingers traced the glass.

The snake slithered around the cave, the hawk looked to where Sam and her wolf were coming with the deer. "I'm so tired," she thought. She now relized she was still bleed from her wound.

Jared smield one last time at his fathers picture before standing back up and walking towards teh entrance. He smiled as he saw Sam walking back with a dead deer. But her speed suggested exhaustion, seeing this prompted Jared to walk to Sam. "Need some help?" he called to her.

Jared walked down the slope to Sam. "Let me take it. You head up to the cave for now and rest." he said to her. "And we'll see to that arm of yours."

"Butdon't want me to help," Sam asked but was still feeling a bit weak.

Jared siled at Sam until he noticed how sickly she looked. He grabbed her shoulders softly to keep her form falling. "Sam are you okay?" he asked her softly.

Sam shook her head, "I feel dizzy," she muttered as blood came out of her wound and dripped down her arm.

Jared picked Sam up and cradled her like a small child. "I got you Sam." he said as he carried her up the slope.

Sam closed her eyes stil feeling dizzy as he carried her.
