Naku nodded in approval. "Good. As you can see, Tetro, the Sith view of the the force is different. They believe the use of emotions, mainly, anger, hate, the children of fear and despair to use the force as a tool. The last part, 'the force will set you free,' is different in meaning for everyone in the Sith." Naku continued. At this point, the holoimage of both the Sith and the Jedi code appear. It would be apparent that both codes contradicted each other.

"The force in it's purity, are both the light and dark. It is as much your ally as it is a tool. The force can help you, guild you, show you glimps of the future, keep you. But it can also harm you, corrupt you, bring you to your destruction." Naku continued. "To be a true force user, you must be willing to be the perfect balance of the two sides. This is difficult however, as the darkside and the light side have both their strengths and weaknesses. And some things could only be used by one side easier then the other. Each and everyone of us have both darkness and light within our own beings. The force can allow you to bring out what is in your heart, your being, and use it in a way that could be helpful, or harmful. Now this is not to say that if your a darksider, you can't use the light, and like wise the other way. However, it is more difficult, and taxing on oneself."

Tetroneaque nodded his head at Naku's words as he'd deduced as much just from hearing the two creeds. It was interesting that two seemingly opposing forces could come together at this place to try and learn from one another. It was a testament to just how open minded these people were. "How do I know which side I'm more inclined towards? I think I already tapped into the darkside a little when I did that... well howl. I was just so frustrated and angry and then it all just sort of came out in one burst, which is odd cause I'm usually quite patient." He had a sudden feeling that his emotions had been somewhat manipulated by Thanatos...again.

"So how exactly does one tap into the light side?" He asked politely, his inquisitive nature showing up once again.

Dremora stepped to the plate. I can answer that first question. After examining you, I can tell you have more of a light side aura than the dark side. To learn to utilize both aspects is difficult when one has spent a lifetime learning one way, but you, you have no knowledge of either, so perhaps you will be able to grasp them easier than anyone here. perhaps you can learn the Twilight Force better than most here...

Tetroneaque listened intently to both Naku and Dremora speak, picking up little tidbits of knowledge. It was like one big puzzle, with the pieces being shown to him one at a time but up to him to figure out where to place them to see the whole picture. When Dremora mentioned the Twilight force though his ears perked straight up in attention.

"Is the 'Twilight Force' what you call a balance between the lightside and darkside?" The thought that his lack of training might actually be beneficial now was something he hadn't considered before, but this news excited him! Maybe he'd be able to learn both sides equally well and earn the respect of everyone else in the Temple, especially Janlu...

Wait? Where had that last part come from? Tetroneaque shook his head slightly to clear his thoughts, still not quite sure what had come over him for that brief moment and instead turned his attention back to Naku and Dremora. "So what can I do now to further my understanding of the Force and it's two side?" He asked with all the eagerness of a willing student.

Dremora grunted in contempt, only out of habit. Darth Vader was a Sith Lord that had nearly wiped out the Jedi order long ago. After a duel with his former master, he was left with no limbs but the mechanical arm he received years earlier. I believe master Naku is able to go into more detail on Vader. Dremora next went on to explain one of the Dark Side's drawbacks. The Dark Side does not have many healing qualities, unlike the the light side, and thus requires much use of one's negative emotions, and even if that darkness is broken by even a brief moment of bliss, the concentration is gone, and all your work falls to shambles.

Naku smiled. Tetro's question was a good one, but he was looking at it in a different way. "The force does not have any side. The Force just is the Force. It is the Jedi and Sith order are what make it seem like there is a side to it. It's how you use the force that makes you who you are." Naku said, though it would seem as if he was being complex, he was right. "To truly understand the force, you must know yourself, and know of the force. What you just did, was use the force to amplify your own howl. It normally is used by the darksiders, since they use it in a manner to harm, using anger in the process. In a sense, it would be Force Scream, by that standard. However, using your emotions is not a bad thing. The dark side show that you use the force in a matter letting go of your emotions, though in a dark matter with little control. The Light teach you to use calm and control. To approach the force, in a matter that keeps you as a peacekeeper, not a fighter. Both teaching have flaws. But together, they can benefit one another. I can teach you the basics. The path you follow though is ultimately your choice." Naku said.

Naku deactivated the Holo-emiter, the blinds disappearing once again, bringing back light from the outside. "I can only show you the path, and teach and guild you in the way of the force, to prepare you for the path. However, I cannot walk your path for you. Are you willing to learn the way of the force?" Naku looked at them all. "This question is not just for Tetro himself, this is also for all of you. For together, you can benefit each other, teach each other, and learn from each other. We all walk a similar path, we all can help each other. But when we reach the end of this path, the path you take from that point on, will be yours alone. But know that even then, you will never be alone. We are brothers and sisters in the force, and we will always be able to help each other." Naku said.

Thanatos went half-way to his room, when the jedi-in-master-robes's words took effect. He did a abrupt turnaround, until he found himself in the training room. As soon as he saw him, Thanatos said, "I actually would like to learn something that only a Jedi master would know. Its name is Morichro." This particular power is not normally taught to even masters within the Jedi order and they guard this secret perilously.

Tetroneaque was literally bouncing in place with excitement as he answered Naku. "Yes! Yes, I wish to learn the ways of the Force!" He answered quickly and without hesitation. He didn't mind if it was something that would challenge him, as he enjoyed a challenge. It also meant that he wouldn't be at the mercy of people like Thanatos, who seemed to think of Tetroneaque as nothing more than a distraction or pet as far as Tetroneaque himself could tell.

Then as if simply thinking about him had conjured him up, Thanatos strode back into the room and asked Naku about some sort of Force technique. The name 'Morichro' meant absolutely nothing to the Kit'aru, nor did it seem that it's name would reveal any hints about what it could possibly be.

Hoshi listened to the others talk without a word. She watched everyone passively. When Naku asked the question "As long as I can I want to learn more about the force and other things." It was not very loud at all. As Thantos entered again she watched him carefully. "Tetro would you like to look at the view again?"

Naku walked up to Tetroneaque. "Then allow me to first give you something you will need. As much as your telepathic technique is useful, you will need to learn of our language, at the least." Naku said, as he used the force through their telepathic connection to teach Tetroneaque the language of Basic (english). To Tetro, it would be slightly painful, as Naku had to force his knowledge onto Tetro's mind, and how to adjust his voice to be able to speak Basic.

As Naku done this, the question that Thanatos asked was something that almost distracted him. Once he finished, with Tetro, he smile. "Sorry, but now you should be able to speak our language."

Naku turned to Thanatos, trying to find a way to explain to Thanatos that what he asked for was something he couldn't even teach him. Not just because he was a dark side user, or that it was the most secretive technique that the Jedi ever hold, but the fact that Naku himself didn't know how to perform the technique. Although Naku did run into it in the Jedi archives when he was a padawan himself, but he was never taught of the technique. Naku had to ask. "Thanatos... how did you hear of that?" He kept his feelings of his knowledge deeply guarded at this point. Thanatos has proven to be a great manipulator, and to give him any chance to read him would not be a good idea at this time.

(edit. Sorry Tetro, don't worry about it.)

( Thanatos already forced Tetro to learn basic with the Force in my first thread... Thus why Tetro has been speaking to everyone just fine instead of using his telepathy in this thread. sweatdrop )

Thanatos smirked at the master's caution. He said, "The known knowledge of this certain rare technique was found to me the day I tore the knowlegde from a certain now diseased Jedi Master, by the name of Dorvuhn. It would seem that one of the other aged masters were ready to teach him the art. I only know what its capable of. Not how to utilize it for myself. You Jedi guard it with great caution, therefore my lack of knowledge. I also know for certain that one of the reasons why this is so secret is that, the jedi believed those with my nature would use it to disastrous effects. After all this technique is not exclusive to only light side properties, and if it is? I can work with it."

Naku listened. It would seem that Thanatos did uncover a secret well kept in the Jedi order. Though Naku couldn't teach him even if knew the skill. It was dangerous, the misuse of the technique could kill someone. It was simply too dangerous for anyone to learn. "I'm sorry Thanatos, but I cannot teach you that technique. It is dangerous. Although it is a technique very few Jedi use and is kept secret, to the point that no known Sith has done it, it isn't a strictly light side force ability. It can save you, keep an enemy in almost suspended animation, in a sense. But it can also kill both you, and the person you use it on. But you already know this part. The real reason I cannot teach you this is because I know not how to use it." Naku admitted. Naku had mastered the force with Malice, but not everything. Naku never tried it.

Thanatos's grin faded. Disappointing. He said, "How disappointing, it would seem that I will have to find other ways of attaining the skill. However, there is another technique, I have on my list. It is known as Dark Transfer. The ability is also something I seek. Do you know of it?

Thanatos felt that this place had only so much knowledge. To find the powers he sought. He felt he needed to find elsewhere. This place however was a good base of operations. Although Thanatos could think of a few spots to find the technique of Morichro. Thanatos was good about uncovering secrets.
