((How heavy is that buggy Jack&Svelte are in - is it feasible to spend last resort on psychokinesis and stop it from colliding with Davis' car? Of course that doesn't take into calculations the speed of which they are travelling and the force about to collide with Davis&Angela's own...))

((Side note: at least Angela is wearing the seatbelt.))

((You could certainly lift their car by spending your Last Resort on Psychokinesis. But that would effectively be like tossing them over your own car like a flapjack...which, while funny, wouldn't be too considerate of those inside. Or you could use your Last Resort/Psychokinesis to attempt to cushion the blow...that's up to 5000 lbs of force you can manipulate, so it should be enough to keep folks from being thrown out the window...

...if your reaction time is fast enough. Go ahead and roll me an Observation+Luck Feat.))

((Okies! I was going for the cushiony effect, for the record.. and tbh Angela might be more concerned with protecting her own hide - there's 911 for after))

As the lights of another vehicle blinked into view Angela felt herself stiffen, heart pounding and eyes wide, and she fought to keep down a yell of surprise. When the vehicle did lose control, as it would in theses conditions, and when it's speed and direction seemed determined to take both Davis and Angela into the oncoming vehicle, she did scream.

Instinctively she raised her hands to ward off the danger of the collision.

(( [3obs.]+[3luc.]+[-3 to difficulty] *prays*))

She felt a familiar buzz on the edge of her mind, a rush of warmth in her limbs as they raised to shield her, and she recognized it as the familiar psychokinetic energy. Fueled by her fear and her primal need to protect herself she felt it go out around herself and then forward, ahead of Davis' vehicle, and balloon outwards to interrupt the colliding vehicles.

((ha! Nice save. Barely. wink Your actions will prevent anyone from dying or even being injured in the wreck...however, Jack will still need to roll since he's completely unaware of any psychokinetic shenanigans and would most likely react by trying to avoid the accident. Plus, he needs to keep from careening off the road too.))

((Sorry... rolling! Ag 2 Tech 3... WE get to go rollercoasting!! WOOOO!!))

The first Jack knew about the other car was the flash of lights coming around the curve...

((Gonna do a "Coin toss" roll, see how we stop. Even its on the wheels... PS... that's also the damage roll for the rolling...))

Of course, the next thing he knew, they were rolling to a stop next to a tree. Unfortunately, the rolling happened to be lateral, rather than on the wheels, which ended up in the air.

"Heh, good ting Ah gots a rollcage..." he stops with a groan, unbuckling his seatbelt with one hand, the other braced against the roof, along with his legs, to keep him from falling out of the seat. "Dis ol' girl kept me good... don't hardly show a scratch after sometin like dat. Now..." he paused a moment, crawling out of the car.

"Who, in GODs name was DRIVIN dat PIECE o' CRAP dat HIT ME!!" he screamed at the other vehicle, only now coming to a stop.

((Svelte is upside-down, likely irate... and forgive the forcefulness, but I wanted to test the waters with Pheromones :'b I don't know if Davis is a loose cannon, but I think everyone needs some "Calm" right about now! Activation, Pow4 + Will5.
Side note... I believe my pain tolerance sucks up all the roll damage. ;'3 ))

--- [Svelte, Ilusha-Hegal, " Nima "]
Svelte, woken up, irate, upside-down and held down roughly by the seat buckle grumpily opened her eyes. The pain from the belt biting in and the vehicle rolling had only barely registered. She had been resting, peacefully, if but fitfully. And now, as she looked down at her long, frazzled braid of hair resting on what should have been the roof of the car next to her bag, Svelte grumbled inaudibly at her luck.

Still, if she was angry, so would others... Especially Jack, by the sounds of it. With a groan, some trouble and both hands braced, Svelte managed to slide her legs out from above her in a way to put her upper back where her rear had sat. It is now officially, Cramped, Methuselah. Svelte stamped on her shadow as she set her feet down, awkward position as she was. She was in no mood for its lip, she thought angrily as she undid the seatbelt before her long braid got caught up in it.
Willfully, she took a moment to visualize pumping out Calm, as if it was a scented perfume... Something from an ages' old bag of tricks painfully gathered and learned. Where this particular one came from, she did not remember and oddly enough did not care. Eying the buildup of rainwater though made it seem a hopeless cause as she picked up the end of her braid before more rain seeped in.

The tree did not seem to be block her door directly, but the windshield kindly obliged with an obstruction of its own. Broken glass bits, she had fortunately not stepped on too hardly... It probably would have been both better and worse if they had simply collided with the other car. At least the glass would have flow away from the car at that point. "Jack? If you would be so kind? Be a dear and see if you can still open this door? The tree does not seem to be in the way, but I would rather not crawl out for fear of broken glass." She would definitely need to check the contents of her bag for water damage...

"Eh? Oh, sorry." Jack immediately broke off his tirade and went to the passenger side.

"'Ang on dere, miss," he said, pushing on the back end in order to pivot the vehicle away from the tree, giving enough room to open the passenger side door. Having achieved what he thought to be enough room, he pulled open the door, which was only slightly wedged at the roofline, and offered her a hand out.

Following the unexpected, albeit extremely welcome, psychokinetic reaction to her fear Angela opened her eyes without lowering her arms. At the moment she had no desire to move, still unconvinced that everything had not resulted in injury or death, and took a moment to begin breathing again. Her chest rose and fell dramatically in reaction to the length of time she'd been holding it out of panic.

When she did lower her arms it was to look at Davis, her parter and apparent suicide driver, with a look that was an equal mixture of disbelief and scathing anger. Words would not even come to her, likely a result of the closeness to collision they had just about come to, and so she opted to open the door and step out of the vehicle.

It wasn't her intention to rush to the other vehicle, she simply needed to place her shaking legs onto solid ground. It had been too close for comfort, and even closer to a memory of her own she'd buried a long time ago, and even the rain was a comfort to her as opposed to remaining inside the vehicle.

From where she stood, a cold gaze wandering the road to survey the damage, she could see the other car and hear yelling. So someone else was angry too.

Finally she brought herself back around and leaned into the car, checking on Davis under an act of simply retrieving her backpack to check on the condition of what was inside, and managed to find something to say.

"Smooth driving, Hasslehoff."

((The perk to at-will. The trying again!! Later though. I'm adding a quick title in my posts like the one below to keep aliases straight.))
[Svelte, Current Alias: " Nima "]

Svelte, picked up her bag and shouldered it on her left with both straps. As crude and large as it was, it still had perfectly good shoulder straps. It didn't slosh or anything, nor was it all that wet, and most importantly of all, glass free. Though deep down she wouldn't have minded a little pain...

Though her voice was like fresh, sweet honey, Svelte thanked him as she accepted his offered hand with a slightly peculiar accent, likely from her past, "Thank ye Jack." She certainly used his strength, relative to her own, to get out of the vehicle.

Out in the rain, Svelte pulled up the hood of her jacket and simply coiled her braid in the back of it. She didn't think it would do much, but at least water wouldn't pool in the hood. Her jeans wouldn't help much either, unless letting water into her boots so they could slosh around was help. Still, the other car seemed upright. Still, Svelte donned a beatific smile and used her calmest, honeyed velvet tone of voice as she suggested, "Perhaps we should go see if they are kind enough to give us a ride in? Out of the rain and back into civilization?"

"Ah wouldn't trust dat manjay, louse-riddin, basted, even if ma jeep were busted. Which she prob'ly aint..." he stopped, looked at it, and then went to begin trying to push if back upright.

"And Ah don much cair if 'es hurt, kneetha."

((Looks good to me! Let's just wait on MJ, though... but here's a Dare roll, just in case... need a 9))
((I'd say that about decides it.))

After a few pushes that didn't really do much other than rock the vehicle, Jack felt all the anger at the other drivers' carelessness and the damage done to his precious care burst forth in physical might, allowing his vehicle to roll onto it's side, and further, settling onto its wheels.
