Hector unlocked the door and opened it to distract Tanya. "Okay, Tanya, I've got a surprise for you, but you need to close your eyes." He took a short glance inside at Kia to show her it was part of the plan.

[[i had to run errands with my dad today. normally i'm on about all the time]]
Tanya stopped immediately and stood in front of the door. "Aww I knew you'd see it my way Hunny Bunny." She grinned and covered her eyes. "Okay I'm ready!"
Kia couldn't hold in the little burst of anger she had. She quickly left and ran around the house turning on the hose and dragging it around the side of the house. Turning the nosel she turned the water on soaking Tanya.
Tanya screamed with rage when she opened her eyes and saw Kia. Screaming more profanity she ran through the water. She felt the water fall to the side as she was on the ground.
Both the girls scream and faught in the front lawn. It was a definite scratch and hair pulling war as they rolled across the snow screaming at eachother and throwing punches. The mother in the house next door came out of her house with a phone in her hand approaching the scene.

Hector looked on until it got violent. Then, he attempted to break it up. When he saw the mother next door approach the scene, he quickly picked Kia up and got her inside. He closed and locked the door, so no one could get in. "Kia, you should know that when there probably is an onlooker, don't get violent."

Kia frowned, "But she ran at me...." she said. Kia was surely a sight. She was covered in snow and her hair was everywhere. Some stuck to her face. There was a small nail cut on her left cheek that was bleeding although she was too cold to really feel it.
Tanya was picking herself up off the ground and looking at the neighbor. She stood there and let her yell at her for disturbing the neighborhood. After she walked briskly down the street under the neighbors close watch before she dissapeared and the woman silently went back into the house with her phone.

"Kia, you're going to get really cold in a bit, you're covered in snow. You better go change into some dry clothes before you freeze to death." He looked over her one last time. "And you're cheek is bleeding..." Hector ripped off a piece of his shirt sleeve and held it up to Kia's cheek.

Kia shrugged and held her hand to her cheek, "Huh, I didn't even feel it." Laughing she shook her head, "I only hope I left Tanya some battle scars..."She said looking over towards the door with a slight smile. "I guess I'lll just take a shower then...If the oven beeps just take the lasagna out, it should be done then." She kicked off her shoes over to the door and headed toward the back of the house to look for some clothes and a towel.

Hector went downstairs to the 'letter room' and closed the door. He was only wearing the thin white shirt and white pants from the hospital. Hector got out some warmer clothes on. When he was done redressing, he had on dry socks and shoes, jeans (with upper-calf length shorts underneath) with a long sleeved black shirt with a white T-shirt underneath. Hector exited the room and went back upstairs, where he sat on the couch. The Christmas special that had been on earlier had went off, and 'The Grinch' was now on. Trey joined him on the couch. "It's almost back to normal, buddy," he said scratching the dog between his ears.

Kia stepped into the bathroom and started the water. She set up everything for her normal shower 'ritual' before looking at herself in the mirror. She laughed at how messy she looked with smered make-up and wild hair. "That is sooo attractive." Shaking her head still laughing she stepped into the shower and got washed off. Stepping out once she was done and getting dressed she looked in the mirror again. "Much better!" she exclaimed brushing out her hair and of coarse not bothering with make up or anything since shw was just in the house. She heard a distant buzz from the kitchen and opened the door, "Hector can you get that?" she called down the hall before throwing her dirty clothes down to the laundry and heading back out to the livingroom.

Hector heard the beep from the oven. He removed the lasagna using an oven mitt. After removing it, he sat it on the island, and closed the oven door and turned off the heat. Hector also got out two plates and forks and napkins. He had no idea what to do since, frankly, he had never heard of lasagna before.

Kia smiled at Trey who barked and wagged his tail. She scratched behind his ears. "You ready for your food too?" she asked as Trey quickly ran into the kitchen by his bowl. Kia laughed and walked into the kitchen seeing Hector on the counter, "On sec." she said pouring some dog food in a bowl for Trey then walking over to Hector pulling out a drawr that was underneath his leg. Pulling out a knife she cut out two squares of lasagna and set them each on a plate handing one of the plates to Hector, "Hope you enjoy it!"

"Thank you," Hector said. He took a bite of lasagna and nodded. "It's good," he commented, taking another bite. Hector looked outside of the kitchen window. "Tanya's finally gone away."

Kia nodded taking a bite of her own lasagna. "Yeah, but how long till she comes back is the question. I think it's going to be awfully hard to get out of this house. Laying low has reached a new level of safety." She turned her eyes to the window also.

"Well, you had just got groceries, so we'll have enough food for somewhere near a week. Besides groceries, why else would we need to leave?" He asked, taking another bite of lasagna. "It's not like you can't just leave your bakery closed for a week or two while things simmer down."

Kia nodded thinking, "Nothing wrong with that, but if Chris decides to come back how can I get a hold of him? And what are we going to do here for like a week?" She walked over to the refridgerater to get something to drink. Walking back she clicked open the pop and took a sip looking back over to Hector to see if her had some answers.

"I am stumped." He finished eating his lasagna. "Well, we could always go in the backyard and make snow sculptures, have snowball fights, stuff like that. But that would only keep us occupied for so long." Hector went and got a soda from the refrigerator. He returned to his place and looked at Kia. "what ideas do you have?"
