Mizar lifted her tiny hand toward the undead. This was a familiar thing to her, something as simple as breathing. Without even needing to think about it, she pulled out the magic that held the corpse together, drawing it into herself as she watched it fall, lifeless for the second time, to the ground.
"The magic here is raw," she said to Sovern, though she kept her canary yellow eyes on the corpse. "Its been lying untouched for decades. It begs me to drink it."
She looked at him, but she didn't need to hear his command to know what he wanted. She raised her altitude as high as the chain that bound her would allow, outstretching her arms as her eyelids closed over her canary eyes. The magic of the place poured into her like water rushing down a drain. Her body would reach its capacity soon, but she knew that Sovern would not allow her to stop.
Suddenly she felt something, and her eyes, now stained a pinkish orange, opened halfway.
"There are two other beings in the ruins," she said. "And there are three approaching fast...a demonic energy, and a celestial one among them. I can feel other energies, but they are too far to feel my pull."

Ein Lich ((but you said it could have landed in front of him as well, it's feesible it only did that. besides, his whole stomach area is missing, why are you complaining? >.<)) (( "Once they inpacted either Torren or the ground right under him, they'd explode in a single massive explosion of black flame." It would have either hit him or the ground right under him so that if he didn't move he would have been completely engulfed in black flame and since you have already admitted that he can be harmed by it, he would have been destroyed unless he moved far enough away. I'm not complaining, I'm doing what any good RPer does and getting the most out of my actions. smile ))

Shadow Blade623 (I was hired to kill a demon, and Ive mentioned Im a demon slayer several times) (no, Valin never said once that he was a demon slayer, just because he was hired to kill a demon doesn't mean that he's automatically a demon slayer, and besides, that could have just been my character's error, argue it in your post. Or quote one where Valin said he was a demon slayer.)

Jet stood there, semi-satisfied. His attack had told him that Torren was basically undead and thus Torren could not even get within five feet of Jet. Jet had hoped that it would go ahead as solve the problem, but it had been a while since there was any sort of conflict.
"But you can eliminate something that is dead. Nothing is forever. It seems that you've performed some sort a necromancy on yourself that allows you a false sense of immortality. Now, the bad part about necromancy, is spells like that have to be tied to something specific and you have to keep it with you. I'm sure that it's not a part of your body, so it's probably either that book that you have, yes I noticed it, that dagger, or that syth. The book is the most logical choice since you never strike out with it and it's hardly ever in any danger. Even if I'm wrong, without the book you're abilities with necromancy and the dark arts that go along with it are severly hurt and decreased. Oh, and you wont have much luck running around anymore without notice for anyone can tell that you have virtually no abdominal area. I've made the first move. The next is yours old man."

"Your wrong about my phylactery." He tossed his dagger before Jet, followed by his book and then finally his scythe. "I do have to admit, I'm somewhat partial to that book. It has my life's work in it, but I have spares else where..." He sighed.
"It doesn't need to be on my person, it can even be in a different plane. And besides that, where it's stored hasn't existed for a long long time."

Jet narrowed his eyes.
"Then you're older than I thought. That talent of magic has been lost for about eighty years. You have given me information though. You've used an amulet, however, from what you've said, I cannot get there. Still, ashes can not do a single thing and what good is false immortality if you cannot even move an eyelid?"

"Fool! what amulet? Your speaking nonsense," He stared up at Jet, " Your mad. Clearly you are." He took a step back, not in fear but to separate himself.

((In this text phylactery can only mean amulet. Here)) "Apperantly, you don't know the meaning of all of the words you use. Perhaps a list of words would help you. No matter, you'll be gone in a few moments."
Jet brought his hands up in an 'x' fashion sending two diagonal slashes of black flame at Torren. Both slashes formed a 'X' shape and the center of the 'x' was headed straight for the bottom of Torren's breastbone.

Torren exploded into black dust that crumbled and blew away in the room, finding it's way in the cracks and crevices everywhere. He did this silently, there was no begging, no cry of pain, nothing. He was going back to where the phylactery was, where his wife was; he would not do so in an uncouth manner.
((a phylactery can be anything, normally a tiny little box that has a break DC of 40 or so; but they can be anything))

 Veslore slowly crept away from the tree, trying to not be a distraction to the fight that was happening below him. He slithered tree to tree trying to get away.

Bones cracked loudly, the sounds of growing flesh screaming into existence; like a soft whisper that can barely be heard as it stretched out across the bones. He sat up, laying there next to his wife; and leaning over kissed her boney remains as gently as possibly before sighing dejectedly.
