Hearing the voice, Kira instantly dropped her almost response to Shade and spun, a dagger appearing in her hand as if from thin air. It came within inches of Rene's neck and rested there, pausing. Her eyes quickly took in and realized that this must be the third adventurer however. Kira scowls, glaring at him in annoyance, then takes her blade away, spinning it about and resheathing it in a hidden sheath, so fast it was hard to tell whether it had gone up a sleeve or on her belt. You shouldn't sneak up on people." she growls, more annoyed that this person had gotten within striking range of her without her noticing than anything else. Kira straightens up, still glaring at at the cow girl slightly.

Rene rolled her eyes at Kira. "Sorry if you weren't paying attention. You know I don't sneak around with feet like these." she said referring to her hooves.

Kira scowls, knowing she was right, which only served to annoy her further. Kira didn't know how she'd gotten so unaware. Kira shakes her head, dismissing the adventurer and returns her attention briefly to Shade. "Are there any further orders for me sir?" She asks.

"They both did, but on quite different matters I think." She replies as she heads for the door. Kira steps out into the hall, glancing over at the butterfly girl and releases her bindings first. "He'll talk with you now." She explains, nodding at the opened door, then sits down nearby in a chair and yawns, folding her arms as she observes the two adventurers silently.

"With people like these taking your orders it's no wonder a lot of people think you're evil..." she said to shade stepping to the side of Kira.

"It shows." she said quietly- deep down she had every single intention to want to harm Shade, but then the odds of turning back to what she once was before would be a good solid zero. "So...what do you want me doing here anyways...and no I won't be in the kitchen for obvious reasons."

"Yeah yeah...it makes me think I'm doing a Benedict Arnold though by doing this..." she said quietly looking down at her chest. She just couldn't believe how...big it was.

Titania waited rather impatiently as Kira was gone for her to return. She became even more impatient with each passing second, as with each passing second, her resemblance to a small fluttering creature increased. Her skin was steadily turning black and slightly scaly - the farthest contrast possible from the pale, smooth elven skin she was used to. Her vision was changing, too, though it was happening slowly. There became several dozen visions of what was happening around her, all from different angles. Most irritating of all, she could actually adjust to it. And, by the time Kira released her, she was a mere 4'8".
"Thank you." The now half-butterfly responded to the girl, and quickly proceeded to follow her to Shade's chambers. She entered with a hand on her hip, compound eyes blinking eerily. "You're Shadetwist."

Rene looked over at Titania- she looked kind of familar...sort of anyways. "Uh...aren't you with the group?"

She looked over at Rene idly, hardly recognizing her for a second. Even when she did realize who it was, she didn't even gasp - at this point, she couldn't care any less what was happening to her supposed companions. She was, had always been, in this for the money and the money only, and her own safety was more of a concern to her. That seemed to be increasingly in jeopardy. So faced with a choice between asking what had happened to Rene and continuing to talk to Shadetwist... well, okay, the option involving Rene didn't even enter into her head. "Was. Was with the group. I quit. Forfeit." She responded to her rather quickly, as much for the sorcerer's benefit as for the hybrid's. "And I'm Titania. I was one of the people hired to capture and or kill you. Yes, I do mean hired. I'm a mercenary. I have no personal vendetta against you, I had no idea who you were until I took this case." She told Shade, still talking at extremely high-speed (and pitch) to try and get this over with fast before she turned into a butterfly. She noticed that she was quieter than she had been before, and realized with irritation that her vocal chords were shortening. "Problem is, I've got no idea why the hell I did. Why anyone would take out an order to kill you. Your city's ten times nicer than most that I've been in. Everyone loves you. The cruelest thing I'm aware you've done is to start trying to turn us all into animals. So, Shadetwist, I'd love to know - who the hell would want to have you taken out, and why?"
