Seth closes his eyes at Werlis. He knows this, he know he can't protect her from all the troubles of the world. But he does know he can try. This area and its blasted rules, why can't it be easier? He turns to face Werlis, giving him a glare, though it wasn't meant to be towards him. "At least I try. . . You know she won't like it, but she won't deny her father." Seth said quietly. He wasn't going to wake Lina.

Seth looks over at the door, letting his mind slowly slip, but not enough to lose control. He can see that the empty fireplace had burst to life at this, but he didn't seem to care. "I won't take that chance, I don't care what happens to me. I was given this power, I am going to use it." Seth said flatly, still keeping quiet.

Seth narrowed his eyes as he watched what Werlis did. He didn't get it, why was the man helping him now? Wasn't he just moments ago telling him to back down and let Lina do what she needed to? But he watched, making sure the man didn't cut too deep. He didn't like it, but he didn't want to deny the man's help. "I don't get it." Seth said quietly.

Seth watches as Werlis leaves the room, but he can't help but feel bad about this. He didn't want Lina to have to take pain, just to make him happy. He couldn't allow it. "Why? Why would you do this?" Seth asked quietly.

Seth closed his eyes and kissed Lina atop the forehead, a single tear slipping from his eye. It landed on her body, mending the shallow wound that Werlis had created. "I will return. . . I promise." Seth said quietly before looking at the fire. It had stopped, the flames no longer pulsated in the empty fireplace. He slipped out the window and jumped down the balcony. He landed landed without a sound and stood up. He knew what he had to do, and he knew why he was going to do it. He could sense him, the man who dared attempt to take advantage of Lina's kind heart. The man would pay for what he has done, and hell would have his soul for the atrocities he has done. He walked through the halls, the ground below him cracking just slightly below his feet. Seth approached him, the vile man who deserved what was coming for him. "I request an audience with his majesty." Seth said, a dangerous tone to his voice but it was calm and clear. He could feel a well of emotions surging in his body, and he knew he wouldn't be able to hold it back any longer.

Seth had made his way to Lina's room. He entered the same way he had left, climbing up the wall. If that man was going to persist with his actions, Seth won't hesitate to kill him. But unless pravoked he wouldn't strike. Seth noticed that Lina was growing cold in her bed, and he noticed that the curse was acting up again. He swiftly closed the balcony doors and pulled the curtains again before hurrying over to Lina. He sat down on the bed and slipped his hand into her hand. "It's okay, I'm here now." Seth said softly.

Seth smiles down at Lina, giving her hand a gentle squeeze. "You will never have to do anything like that again." Seth said quietly. He was curious about how all this started, but he would wait for a better time to ask.

Seth smiles and runs his hand along Lina's cheek gently. "Did I wake you?" He asked quietly. He scooted a little further along the bed to get closer to Lina.
