"Right! She's right...I'll just go now." Without anything else said, Ryo got up and left. The pressure from everyone else around her would surely flare up some anger in Bastet, so Ryo thought. He wandered aimlessly down the halls to the library, taking a seat and watching Munalisk read. While he watched, his mind was wandering elsewhere. 'Just....how old AM I?'

She sighed agian, removed her paws from her face and leaned back. She looked to Nailah, remember that research I was doing on a person that came to my attention? Well, I had found this amulet with a name and symbol engraved into it. The symbol was royalty and the name read Manu. At first I could not place it but then I remembered Manu was one of Rashidi's lackys..." she mumbled off to herself. Then she turned to the new person, and narrowed her eyes slightly, "Yes, I know the tongue, and who exactly are you?"

"He didn't hesitate to ask. Usually, people wander around for a while"
"Munalisk! What are you doing in my head?"
"I got bored. What are you waiting for? Say hi!"

"Hiya!" he said to the newcomer, "I'm Vik!"

Dont worry, some of my...ah... friends informed me so. I am Torrigan, Greetings Vik, I am honored to make your acquantence. Torrigan slowly patted his black jackal on the head, mumbling some indecipherable words into his ear... the jackal bowed onto his front paws and slipped away. "Well, I must retire. I bid you all a good night's sleep"

Nailah raised an eyebrow at teh newcomer. "Yet another who speaks the ancient tongue. Seems the number grows quite rapidly." She turned to Bastet, "Rashidi...hmm the name does sound familiar but then Manu did too and I don't believe I was very much help to you with that one either. Where exactly did you find the amulet?"

Back at the library, Munalisk opened his eyes. He notice Ryo had entered.

Saradin had of course kept an eye on the newcomer, he smelled of death. Though he was certainly more bold, and nonchalant than most of the people living here. He eventually made himself known to the room, looking back to where Torrigan had left. "That person..."

Bastet nodded, "If you have not heard of him I would be worried. He was the priest I killed, he was well knwon in history, but after he stopped aging and people questioned him, he changed his name a few more times. But he was alway Rashidi, my priest. And Manu was his lacky right before the Romans invaded." She readied to give the worse news, "I remember killing them both, but I found the amulet in the woods near the mansion. I do not know whether to be alert or blame Aurahkah for stealing and leaving a trail." She half-laughed, then went to make herself another drink.

Ryo was caught off guard, as his mind was zoned out at the moment. "OH Um...hello Munalisk. Just...thinking about some things. What's that you're researching and becoming zombified by?" Ryo chuckles, looking over the materials he was reading.

Nailah's eyes widened at Bastet's words. "Um Bastet? I'm sorry but maybe you should start at the very beginning. I don't believe I have acutally been privy to your past yet. I know you know mine and I have learned slowly Saradin's and Aura's but yours is still a great mystery. Although now I understand why you knew exactly how I felt about my dream last night. Actually your slight admission clears some things up for me."

"I never learned of Bastet's past in detail either. All I was aware of were the basics." He carefully dissmissed the newcomer after another careful thought. "You always guarded the specifics from us." Saradin rested himself into a chair and wondered if he might be able to garner some new information about her tonight.

Munalisk rubbed his head, still feeling a little dizzy from the whole thing.
