Diana looked around a bit before setting down the chest. "Perfect" she soon said. Keenling down, she opened the chest. Taking just the hilt of the sword throwing it to the side before gathering ever shard of of the blade. "Alright...I think I have enough to melt down for half a normal 3 foot blade. If you could get me the other half that be great."

Dipps watched the ballon just bounce away. "I was joking. Don't you like killing things anymore?" He looked around then pointed to his shoulder. His scar from her blade was still pretty clear and healing. "You did that. Nearly killed me. But I'm fine. So don't worry."

*Earthsea noded abit* "Sure thing" *earthsea started digging around befor setting differint bars of metal on a table* "say what Kind of metal are you useing anyways? I don't think i'v seen anything quiet like it.. is it some kinda of Mix bach?.."

*rats rested her hand on one of her 'dead' legs... it hurt something horable, but other then a few tears she really didn't show it... seeing dipps scar seemed to only make her more uneasy.... but soon it made her suddenly stoped and started to look around, as if she herd something and she soon stoped her glance at one of the windows where he seen a small glowing ball of light zoom by...*

*Star mean while had finished talking with the elders, as there wasn't much to talk about as the clan it self was doing fine, she haded to return to her room, there she wrote in her journal then laid down to rest, something she oddly hadn't done willingly in a long time...*

Diana looked at her with a look of, 'don't you know?'. But taking her lag in time, it might have become something of an oddity now. "Its old. But its just a standard metal. Back when I was growing up, my mother spoke of the ghosts of the world. You know how sometimes you just feeling like some things that arn't real are real. Like your favoret toy growing up is your favoret. Why? Something draws you to it. Positive engery the object gets from you, and thus become more in your mind. The same Idea works here as well." She said dumping the shards on the table. "By mixing blood, ashes, anything really, to the metal while you are forging the blade, you will obtain something that is alive. No one but my family can feel it, but this blade as a clear heart beat. Love and care, hate and dispare, it can feel it all. I have even heard of blades that can transform, via this meathod. Even rebuild themselves. Its only when you put you whole soul into, can it truely protect you. One draw back, the more negative engery put it, doing acts harming others, then I fear the blade will consume its user. Or worse."

Dipps continue to think of what would bring the real Rats back before he noticed her looking at something. He glance behind himself, and saw nothing.

"ah, I see... the very walls of this palace are very much the same way... a unseen force that binds us all..." *he said with a smile befor seemingly geting a Idea and digging deeper into the piles of extra metal* "ah, so we do have some of it left..." *he said pulling free a bar of tetal that seemed mostly broken and bent up* "not too long ago the palace was attacked by a dark force, and brought everything down to the ground, this is one of the fewparts of it left that have not been reused into rebuilding the palace, it was part of one of the pillars in the grand hall, It's very strong, and easy to sharpen." *earthsea smiled handing Diana the the chunk of metal befor going to fire up the metaling pot... Diana soon could see the same thigns that rats seen early, a glowing ball of light moving about the palace.. it looked alot like... Nefer?...*

*when dipps returned his vew to rats, she had not moved from the spot she was at but in her hands she had the doll that dipps made for her.. she had it siting on her lap and she was looking at it....*

Diana's attention couldn't help but be drawn away from Earthsea. What ever it was its movements where speratic. She got that deep unsettleing feeling in her, like something terrible had happen to bring Nefer all the way down here. She went back over to the chest and picked up the hilt at set it on the table. Whatever Nefer was down here to do, she seemed to be lost or rather still looking for something.

Dipps sighed a bit, happy for her to be warming up to things a bit more.
"Do you like her?" he asked a bit shly.

*what ever the reason Nefer was there oddly none of the dragons paided any mind to her, as if they couldn't see her... after awhile though she seemed to be out of diana's vew*
"Is something wrong?..." *earthsea asked seeing diana lost looking the other way as she was firing up the nessary things to help her with her sword, one thing being the molds for the sword, including a odd thing made to fold and layer metal for kitanas...*

*it seemed rats was starting to understand that the doll looked like her self... lost in looking at the doll she seemed to pay no attenshion to dipps as she started to touch it's hair*

*star meanwhile was asleep again, lost in herown dreams that where nothing but darkness or space. small twinkles of light could be seen now and again. but for the most part it was a dark quiet place*

Diana whiped around and grined. "oh nothing, everything is fine." She said finding busy work shorting out the peices of the blade. In the back of her mind the apperance of Nefer just was too unsettling.
"I'll need a medical kit though," she said graping a still shape shard from the orginal blade. Looking over the shard she couldn't help noticing a thin layer of black resen. Seeing this she quickly constured the blade with the few shards she had. What ever broke it, it about mid blade. The bent metal would suggest it was almost torn from her hands. "Sorry" she then said again.
"I don't think I can do it."

Dipps stood up and walked over to the door, picking up his things on the way. He then sat back down and waited. He thought perhaps now was the time he back off and see what she would do next.

"Ah" *earthsea noding to diana calling over one of the hachlings how was playing to get a medical kit that diana requested* " Kinnle almost ready" *earthsea spoke as he was washing the larger chunk of metal trying to get as much dirt and such off it...* "may I ask.. what do you need the kit for?.." *he pased seeing her looking over the bits of the broken sword* "you don't think what?.."

*rats pated the doll looking it all over... waching her she looked alot like a ghost child with the way her jet black hair draped over her face abit... but after awhile it seemed she was actuly starting to play with the doll, holding it by it's little hands and making it move around and almost dance.. and even later soon starting to talk to it although what she was saying was beond anything anyone of this world could understand*

Diana seemed a bit lost in thought. Something just dawned on her, that there was a reason why her mother never fixed the blade. Perhaps she did something to cause it to begain to consume her. Of course, who knew what Zargata was doing to ruin her blade. She could only hope that what ever happened to it, wouldn't still hang on it. There was only one real way to make sure.
"Heh, its nothing, just having some second thoughts on something." With that she grabed the shard again and hovered her left hand over the blade. "Just be ready, I might faint." In a second she took near dull shard of the blade and drove it straight though her left hand. Far enough to see it coming out the over side.
Diana remained focused, trying not to swear or even yell. Though she seem a bit unsteady. But with a keen eye, she hovered her hand long enough over the blade to cover and begain to pool in center of the blade. As soon as she completed this task she pulled the shard from her hand.
"Wheres the med kit...?" she said half swearing under her breath.

Dipps wanted to play. Though it was odd enough seeing Rats do it. So he sat back and closed his eyes. Soon enough he completely fell asleep.

*earthsea gasped abit waching diana stab her self with a part of the broken sword, but noded when the med kit was handed to him by the hachling he set to go get it setting ti on the table next to diana befor opening it to help her with her self made wound*

*rats soon too fell asleep holding the doll made by dipps, curled up on the floor with her blanket and pillows*

after days of rigorus training on the lakesurface trying to create and master an as of yet unnamed attack that he had thought up, kenjiro now lay exaughsted on the lake surface laughing weakly"ha ha its done its completed heh heh." and grinning like an idiot
"did what? reach a new level of reckless did we, it looks like you nearly killed your self training." dream night stated with a slight chuckle. " a mortal can only use so much energy at a time child." came dream nights voice from a couple of feet away as he swam a slow crcle around kenjiro.
"ha ha, you a** but yha could you help me to shore i can barely move." kenjiro replied to dream night still grinning.

"I had to," she said claiming her self down a bit. "Like I said before, it has a heart." She glanced back to the shards hopeing this would be enough. "I don't know what my mother last fought with the blade, but what ever it was left its mark on both her and it. There is a reason for everything...and I can only hope this can be enough to mask what ever that was."
