"I guess we better go,"Nariko said to Izumi and transformed in to her fox state and once more became the dark blueish fox and hoped on to Izumi's right shoulder.
Kaiya sighed."Fine then let's go blondey boy!"

"Alright! Let's see which path you all take," the man spoke, starting to walk onto the boat before pausing. "It's brown by the way... Like... mongies fur." Though he assumed that they all knew it, a mongie was a monkey with a different name.

"You know... those things that sit together... Jump around like this and go oo oo aa aa?" the man spoke, hopping on his two legs like a monkey for a moment before laughing and finding his way to the steering wheel of the boat.

"You mean monkeys?" Mickey laughed slightly. She took a seat on the boat near enough to where Hari was that she could keep talking.
Izumi decided to wait for the boat to set off before he did.

"They're called mongies here... I think someone called a apples a kiwi once though... strange people," the man spoke, still smiling as he awaited everyone to get on. Once everyone who wanted on boarded though, the man was quick to move from the wheel so that he could pull everything in. He wanted to leave but he didn't want to drag the dock with him.

Midori stared at Hari, hugging Ammy close to her. How would they stay together on this? She didn't mind people, but these people were too weird for her liking. These people weren't like the humans back in her world. They all looked different, of course. Midori set foot onto the boat and then took her stand around the stanchion. She just wanted to get off the island and find her way back to her world.

Bara smiled and went on the boat with her cousin's Nariko had taken her place clung on to the boars arm once more. While Bara merely draged Kaida with her.
Kaiya had been thinking about leting Dark fly her over agian, but thought she'd give the poor dragon a rest instead. So the dragon knight of darkness strolled on to the boat and found a seat also close to where Hari was so she could listen to the two talk.

Once everything was set, the man pushed the boat away from the dock with his foot, nearly falling in. It was hard to imagine that such a strange man was going to safely tote the group safely to wherever the hell they were going. What was more, he didn't even seem to mind that Izumi was still on the dock. Of course, the answer was simpler in his mind than the others. He merely thought the shinigami had already given up and wanted to live on the island. No one on Genesis wanted to live on the island since it meant backwater living, but maybe that guy was outdoors-y. "And we're off!" the man announced though he was merely standing behind the steering wheel as the boat quietly drifted away from dock. If one looked properly, the boat had a rudder but it was missing any kind of engine and there was no sail to be seen.

Once the boat had started off, Izumi took flight, staying a little behind it as he followed.
"So how long is the boat trip?" Mickey asked, not wanting to distract their captain but wanting to know nonetheless.

"I dunno... How fast is the boat floating?" the man asked, looking as though he was really concentrating on something. Depending on how fast the boat was floating away and in what kind of direction would set their pace. Of course, it wasn't as though the group would know anything about the craziness of the lake ocean they were in.

Nariko flatened herself aginst Izumi and pressed herself aginst his neck siting nicely in the nape of it. She tried hard to not dig her claws into him or look down at the water.

"How am I supposed to know?" The man was starting to annoy Mickey slightly, but he intruigued her more than he irritated her. Evenrything about this world made Mickey curious.

"You mean you didn't wa-" the man started before the boat suddenly lurched, "Hang onto your pants!" The man was grinning as he shouted out his words of caution. The group only had about half a second to react though. The boat had hit a strong current, much to the surprise of the group and the delight of Hari. The wooden floating vehicle lurched once more before speeding down the current, the man at the steering wheel trying hard to keep the boat in the current and to keep it from smashing into the cliff sides whenever the boat neared them.
