Bastet opened her eyes and noticed Nailah stir and work some more. She looked over to her. "So, you know nothing of this Manu except that you heard the name once correct?" She started tapping her claws imaptiently again as she waited for the woman's response.

"Yes, that's pretty much it." Nailah paused for a second and finally decided to trust Bastet with the full truth. "Bastet, I have a confession to make, and it's not a pretty one. But please hear me out and at the end if you don't want anything more to do with me than I will totally understand." Nailah had become accustomed to people turning away from her as soon as they found out about her 'condition.'

Bastet stopped taping and turned her full attention to Nailah. She raised an eyebrow, "Alright, I am curious, I will hear you out. But let me tell you there is not much you can tell me now to disturb me, I have yet to turn away from the people here." Her ears twitched then perked up, letting the curiosity become apparent.

Nailah silently laughed. Just like a cat. She took a deep breath adn started. "When I first had the antidote, everything was really weird. I...did some things that I would never do. It seemed like every time I got around people their emotions would imbed themselves into my brain and then whatever they intended to do, I would be forced to do. One night I came upon a couple arguing....and the girl was quite upset with the boy. I.." Nailah paused and then muttered something unintelligible.

Bastet furrowed her brow, "And the boy did not last very long." She wrinkled her nose and thought for a moment, "Now, is this just a dream? Or is it a dream reminding you of something that scared you but you forgot because you blacked it out? Or is that what you are not sure of?" She leaned over and touched Nailah's hand with her paw, trying to be bring some comfort but promt her along as well, "Kitty ears pick up a lot, so if you mumble I will hear it. You can tell me, even if it happened it was unintentional, remember I killed and meant to."

"The topic of self control..." Saradin had been listening to some of the conversation as he walked by, originally intent on getting some sleep but now diverted. "That's a topic I know quite a lot about. I've studdied under a good number of masters as well." He walked into full view of the other library guests, nodding in the usual practice and being serious to a fault. "Not only do I keep others out of my thoughts, but have gained quite a bit of insight into controling my own. It may help in your case."

Nailah's eyes filled with tears. "I didn't mean to, honest I didn't. Something came over me. The short story is I ripped him to shreds. And the girl just stood there in horror. Finally she ran. I mean I murdered an innocent boy and I had no control over it. And now the images haunt me in my dreams. A fitting punishment I'm sure." Seh looked up in surprise to see Saradin standing there.

Bastet patted Nailah's hand, "It was all new to you then, you were not aware that that would happen, and you obviously feel bad about it especially with the recurring dream to torture you." She sighed and looked over to Saradin momentarily, then turned back, "You did not mean to then, but maybe it would be best if you did train yourself to prevent it from happening again."

"You may have not had control then, but instead of simply fearing it, work to improve the situation. I can provide training that may give you control when you need it." Saradin's steel gaze was stuck on her. "I can forgive mistakes, but I won't allow them to continue. Given the amount of emotion that flys around this place during any traumatic moment, you can't afford to go without training."

Nailah stared in shock at Bastet. She had been waiting for her to cringe or even move away. Instead she had moved closer and actually touched her. THat kind of response was the one Nailah wished for but never actually got. Instead she was usually chased out wiht people screaming for her to never come back and calling her all kinds of evil names. She watched Bastet unable to speak. She looked to Saradin. "How am I supposed to train when I don't have any warning of when it's going to happen and I don't know why it does?"

Saradin tried to ease the intenisty of voice and personality that came with him when he was in combat or working out. He relaxed himself and focused more on the recent experiences that had bettered his mood here. "I'm sorry for my demeanor. But this does still seem to be something that requires help from us, and I wont be one to cast you away."

Nailah nodded. "Thank you. Both of you. You have no idea how much this means to me. I'm so used to being shunned because of it. And now..." she stopped unable to continue. Looking around at the others in the library she felt her chest tighten. She was extremely happy she had come to this mansion. Saradin was right. She needed to stop it before it happened again. She had been lucky the past few centuries adn had no real powerful feelings of rage. But what would happen when these feelings came again. Seh couldnt' afford to lose control a second time. She had to stop it. But how?

Bastet smiled at the shocked look on her face. "You have walked into the manor of people who regret things they did and scare the average person away. Take Saradin up on his offer he seems to know what he is talking about, or at least train yourself. True regret means you will honor those that were wronged and better yourself so that it does not happen again."

Nailah nodded. "Can you help me train?" she asked Saradin. "See I don't know how to stop it, but if you could help me I would really appreciate it." She waited for his answer, unsure of what she would do if he said no.

"Being an empath, I have an idea. You need to be exposed to powerful natural emotions for you to establish control over them. I wouldn't suggest my own... but they certainly seem to be the best source for controlled access." Not a thing in his mind could claim this to be sane. Saradin was always wary of the darkness lieing inside his thoughts, and now he had to keep perfect control if he was to pull it off. On the surface though, was a perfect facade concealing his worries both mentally and physically as he offered his aide.
