"She felt that we would only be hurt if we tried to help I guess. Hey she has heaven on hre side, we cont' worry too much. She'll be fine. Ryo's taking it surprisingly well."

"He is? Despite how he acted when he returned?" Quickly his mind ground into working as he scratched his chin and inwardly discussed with himself why. "I suppose its for the same reason then... He is happy that she can't see him as he is. Ryo is feeling weak, incapable of doing anything."

"Quite the contrary. He's happy for her, knows she's facing her destiny. He believes that she's being stronger than him about everything as it helps him. His whole demeanor had seemed to change really."

"Still, I don't believe that either of them are quite as happy as they act while they are seperated. I've seen it in others before. Best not to press him about it though." He carefully folded up the note and handed it back to Aurah. "Maybe I'm just worrying to much..."

"You're probably right. But love is a strong bond, I believe they'll be fine." She took the note back. "Seems I'm everyone's messenger. Just don't' shoot me if you don't' like the news I bring." She sighed. "I don't think you're worrying to much...people do extreme things when they're pressed."

"It's up to them now anyways." Pulling off from the wall, Saradin handed Eclipse over to his rightful owner/soul companion, and turned to head down the halls. "I've been slacking off with my training, this talk has reminded me that I still need to get to that."

Aura took hold of the wolf and laughed. "Cook and train Saradin. Just take nap man." She rolled her eyes as Eclipse struggled slightly then turned her attention to him. "Oh quit it."

"Sleep. 'I can four days without it, this is day two.' Or something like that? I find some rest between activities, it's more than enough." He nodded farewell and walked away, out of the hall and to the courtyard.

Aura laughed, "Well I can...." She shrugged and cradled Eclipse in her arms, much to the wolf's displeasure. "Oh come on you wanted my attention before? Oh you love Saradin more is that it?"

"Saradin doesn't like to torture me."

"But it's a good torture!"

Nailah walked around her room, trying to figure out why the dream was coming back to haunt her after all these centuries. It didn't make any sense. Normally she loved a good puzzle, but this was just too much. Nailah shook her head and walked out her bedroom door to the kitchen in search of something to eat. Trying to figure out dreams and reasons on an empty stomach was an impossible task. She decided to remedy it and then research things in the rather extensively stocked library.

She walked into the kitchen and sat down at the table. It felt weird being in the large room alone. As if she didn't belonged there. She knew she was being silly, but she couldn't help feeling like she was an intruder. Nailah shook her head and walked to the refrigerator. Pulling open the door she began to search through the well-stocked fridge for the perfect thing to satisfy her appetite and dull the pain from the recurring dream.

Bastet walked out of the forest and leaned on a tree staring at the mansion. She examined herself for wounds, but as her tail brushed up against something smooth and cold, she was reminded of the nights events. she untucked the amulet from its hiding place and studied it carefully. It was very smudged and some of the engraving on it was rubbed out, but she could make out a name. There was also a symbol, as from a priest very close to the Egyptian Pharaoh's family. She scratched behind her ears and leaned her head against the tree in thought. Manu... It sounded familiar, but with the time that has passed, she has forgotten many things, for good reasons.

She stood straight and shrugged, replacing the amulet in its hiding place. She walked into the mansion her head down watching her paws walk, as she thought. She went to her room, washed up, and changed. Then she walked into the kitchen to see Nailah eating. Quickly she made sure the amulet was still hidden and forced a smile at her. "Hello, I did not think anyone was awake." She poured herself a simple vodka, instead of her usual special.

Nailah was startled to hear someone come in. When she heard Bastet speak to her, she popped her head up and said, "Why hello Bastet. I am the only around right now." She pulled out a bowl of the leftover pasta Saradin had made. "Of course you are more than welcome to join me. I was just goign to eat and then go see if I could research something in the library."

"What a coincidence... I have been deep in research as well." She moved closer to Nailah, "It looks good, I think I will have some too," She leaned against the counter, "If you do not mind. What are you going to research? Fortunately Aura's library seems to have everything."

Nailah smiled. "Yes, she has quite the collection." she busied herself reheating the pasta nd getting down two plates. Pouring herself a glass of wine she walked over to the table. She looked at Bastet and tried to figure out how much to tell her. What would she think if she knew? Carefully Nailah said, "I wanted to see if I could find out anything on dreams." After waiting a second she saw that the pasta was done and quickly spooned some onto each plate. Bringing the two to the table, she set one in front of Bastet and the other directly across from her. "What about you? What do you want to research?" She stood up and grabbed her wine, then came back to the table.
