Edward Grey "I know you would." he held her to him, comforting himself along with her. "You are more then just a friend to me, you are the best thing to ever happen, and in someways you are my leader. You have led me away from the dark path I had begun down, and I love you for it." She smiled slightly, hearing this pleased her. "I do what I can." Mim replied. "Though, you've helped me out alot too. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have all this. I wouldn't...I wouldn't have much personality either."

He smiled too. "I do what I can." He lightly kissed her cheek, then pulled back a little to look her in the eyes, wanting to say something but not sure what. His arms still loosely around her hips.

"Copy cat." She mumbled, rolling her eyes. "Must I add on to your nickname, Mr. Steel Cup Butterfeet? Cause I will." She warned though she was obviously joking around.

His eyes narrowed, and he thought about calling her the Human piece of Swiss Cheese, but thought better of it. "Your too much sometimes." He laid down pulling her with him, just feeling the comfort have having her there, and being safe.

She let herself be dragged down and looked thoughtful. "Let's see...how about Mr. Doppelganger Steel Cup Butterfeet?" She laughed. "Or...overly-emotion-vampire-with-a-heart-of-gold, steel-cup-and-slippery-boots?"

"You know for someone with butterfeet, I don't get is as many accidents as you." he said in a matter of fact tone. "Now just be quiet you need your rest after what you went through." He had an arm wrapped around her waist, as he was talking in the smell of her hair. "Or do I have to have you confined to the hospital wing?"

She glared. "I'm fine...and you wouldn't dare..." Mim searched his eyes for a bluff, but frowned, jutting out her bottom lip for effect. "You'd better remember that that steel of yours can't always protect your magnolias." Just the thought of being stuck in the hospital gave her a sick feeling in her gut.

"Touch feely are we, copy cat? What about...Alice, I believe her name is?" Mim questioned, narrowing her eyes slightly. "And, stress or no stress, I'm always stressed so, resting is pointless."

"What about Alice? She is a very sweet person who I am very close with. But she can never replace you as my best friend, and not to mention that you will always have a vital piece of my heart." He spoke the last part more quietly then the rest.

Mim scooted away somewhat. "Really? You guys are just close? Edward, we're close, but not like that." She sat up and shook her head. "I shouldn't have come to your room, I think. I was hoping my avoiding you would change things..."

He looked as though he was slapped with a fish. "Lydia, she and I are not as close as you and I. And your foolish to think that avoiding me would change anything on my feelings for you. Those will never change, I told you that before, and I say it now. But believe me I am trying to move on, I know you are loyal to Rin, and it hurts to think that when you are not here, that you might be with him. I am trying, but I always end up finding away to be there when you are in danger, always there protecting you, I can't help myself when it comes to you. I Love You" Edward was now on the point of a mental collapse.

Mim curled up, wrapping her disfigured arms around her legs. "I know you love me, Edward. It doesn't change anything, this closeness...we need to stop this. I hate hurting you...and I keep doing it." She sighed, burying her head in her knees. "You're the only person I can't handle. It's completely unpredictable."

"You can't handle it because you want me too, and you won't let yourself. And your not hurting me when you say any of this, it only hurts when you are not near me, or when I think your with Rin. Thats when it hurts. But if you want to stop being close then I won't stop you from leaving, though I will sit here and long for your return." He moved so he was laying on his back now, staring at the ceiling.

Lord Gemini Sergei sensed an old friend of his was creating a bit of trouble and he appeared in the hospital and stood with his arms crossed and he spoke, his voice magically filling the whole hospital. "Kat, haven't you had enough fun for a life time?" kat looked at sergei with evil lusterous eyes. "now sergei, you don't want to spoile my fun down you?" she gave a puty face. "come here darling it's will be fine" she cackled and smiled vicously
