The next day Alexis woke up and found her mom cooking breakfast. "Mom, shouldn't you get some rest?" asked Alexis. "No, honey, I'm just fine, I made your favorite, belgian waffles with strawberries. I guess it's to say sorry." Alexis walked over to her mom and hugged her. "You don't need to convince me, I already know your sorry, and i forgive you, I'm really glad that this is all over with. Hey...do you wanna come somewhere with me?"
Her mother smiled and said "Where do you wanna go?"
"Just for a little walk, think I could call Taylor and bring him along?"
"Of course."
"Alright, I'll be right back."
Alexis walked over to the phone and dialed Taylor's number.

"Hey, Taylor! It's Alexis, I was wondering if you were busy today?"

"we're doing awesome, we were just enjoying some breakfast. Sorry if I woke you up. I was sorta wondering if you might wanna come with me to the cave today with my mom."

Alexis rushed to the door to meet him and gave him a good morning kiss. "Hey there, Taylor." she said. "Hey mom! you feel like going for a little walk with us?" she directed that back to the kitchen where her mom was tidying after their breakfast. "Sure sweetie, just let me finish up here first. I won't be too long." replied her mother.

"Ummm...well she won't be too long, but do you want to come in and check the place out?" asked Alexis.

Alexis took his hand and led him into the kitchen. "Well, obviously this is our kitchen, can get kinda dirty sometimes but mom and i usually do a good job tidying up." She then led him into the family room, which looked pretty much deserted except for a few empty beer and whiskey bottles. Alexis shook her head. "I'm so glad that's over with." She picked up the bottles and shoved them in the recycling. "Good riddance...anyways, here comes the fun part. Promise you won't laugh at how messy my room is..."

Alexis winced and was prepared to get laughed at for her "messy" room. as she opened the door, Taylor saw a tidy bed, a couple shirts on the floor and one drawer open on her dresser. Her closet door was open and everything inside had been neat and organized, save maybe a couple pairs of pants that fell from their hangers. There were pictures that she and her dad drew together when she was younger, and closer to her bed there were more recent sketches, one of herself, one of her mother, one of her father and one...of Taylor. Alexis blushed..."Well, this is it."

Alexis hadn't expected Taylor's nudge, so she lost her balance a bit and nearly fell over. She laughed a little. "Yeah, definitely. No need to push me though" She joked. Her eyes shined as she bared a full smile
