Kaia shuddered and kicked herself for being hopeless and reckless. "Well it's just that. Well I was sort of paid to...kill you?" She held up her hands palm outwards laughing. "Not that I really was going to do it of course."

She held up her hands palm outwards laughing. "Not that I really was going to do it of course." Jack's eyes narrowed and the knife turned into a sycthe."how can i trust you now?"He pulled the sycthe out from behind him."I'LL KILL YOU!"he yelled and charged at Kaia and swung his sycthe at her neck.

She dodged the attack as best she could and was grazed as she ducked to the left. Already having fought Jack numerous times in the short span she'd known him she knew that there was no way in hell she'd be able to defeat him. Half the reason she didn't want to take the bounty. So whatever she did it would be a no-win situation. So what was she going to do fight back or run...?

The scythe nicked her neck and blood slid down her throat from the wound. But she didn't fight back, instead she took to her heels and ran for dear life. Unlike the first time, she left no traces behind...

Kia felt the airways to her throat close up but she didn't start choking. After all what type of vampire choked to death. Not her that's for sure. But then again he could eventually crush her spine which would be pretty bad. So she stopped fighting and opened her mouth to speak. Nothing came out as her voice-bow was being blocked.

Kia's eyes opened wide with surprise. Why were people so hard to read sometimes? It was not something she'd expected him to say or do. But she didn't respond. Or well she would have but she couldn't...
