Kala felt out of the loop as she watched Cain go comfort Zel in the bedroom. Excusing herself from Jessy and the newcomer momentarily, she stepped into the door of the bedroom. Watching them, she felt helpless and quite sad that Zel would be suffering so, and it seemed only Cain could comfort her. Turning away to leave them alone, she returned to the table, her appetite gone, though she did her best to try and hide how she felt. Her smile was a bit forced as she looked at the two girls. I think they'll be okay, but in the meantime, what question was it that you had?

Reselda allowed herself to be held as she cried. She continued to cry as emotions and images bombarded her memory until she finally forced herself and them to stop 10 minutes later. She slowly sat up and wiped away any trace of the tears before giving a small smile, "I'm sorry for crying like that. I didn't mean to." she commented once again falling into her just above a whisper voice. twisted

Cain liked the smile on her face much better than a sad look, and was glad he could help. Anytime, Zel-chan, if you need a shoulder to cry on. He squeezed her and kissed her temple lingeringly. He wasn't so eager to let her go. What do you say we return to dinner?

Cain nodded but didn't let her go. He still desired her presence, and kissed her temple again. I'll just stay with you then, you can sleep if you like. Snuggling closer to the girl he already thought of as his daughter, he held her and whispered loving words to her as he stroked her side and sent even more loving thoughts to her. After awhile, the poor girl fell asleep once again. With a last lingering kiss, he got up and tucked her in, returning to the table. His eye fell on Kala, who he could tell was upset, and he wrapped his arms around her as well. It's ok love, sometimes all we can do is be there. He kissed his wife tenderly.

Kala leaned against Cain, snuggling her head on his shoulder. In all honesty...I think having another assisstant wouldn't be such a bad idea. Specially when you and I have to leave, hun, on our trips. Having someone to watch the shop even while Jessy's in classes would be nice, specially tomorrow while we take Res shopping. What do you think, sweetie?

Jessy finishes eatting her dinner then gets up collecting empty plates and setting them by the sink to wash. Looking towards the table she smiles at the others,"Well there you have it Fauve. Looks like we will be seeing a lot more of each other." Turning the knob on the faucet, she starts filling half the sink with hot soapy water. Dishes clanking as places them in the sink. Suddenly as she is washing she remembers that she needs to talk to Cain about Jason Arc's request.

"Oh I almost forgot! Mr. Marko while you were upstairs earlier one of my classmates, Kenny the assistant for Mr. Arc, stopped by. Much by accident of course. Seems he was having problems with his motorcyle or something. Anyway to make a long story short, Mr. Arc made an appearance in the store and requested that I ask you to give him a call." Drying her hands on the dishtowel she pulls out the business card from her skirt pocket and walks it over to the living room. Handing it over to Mr Marko she continues, "He said he has a business offer for you. Of course he didn't really say what it was about."

Jessy nods smiling still a bit excited as she recalls the moment. "He even purchased that samurai sword you had on the wall. He's probably needing your expertise on something. I wonder what it is..." She then heads back to the kitchen to finish the dishes. She had to concentrate on the task at hand so as to not break anything. Of course that didn't last long, as she goes to set one of the glasses down on the counter she accidently knocks another one onto the floor."Ooh not again...sorry bout that." Jessy dries her hands then gets the broom to sweep up the mess. Laughing nervously, "I think I'll be buying you guys a new set of drinking glasses for Christmas this year."

Etain walks in later that evening grumbling about the idiocy of the police and nearly slams her laptop bag and camera bag on the table before smelling the food, she replied, the smell of the food calming her nerves as she moves to put the two bags on the coffee table.
