Jade peers out the front window. "It's really dark out. You guys should take a torch or flashlight with you."
"I wonder what ever happened to Merrick? He disappeared too. And what about Snu and DarkAngel? Seems all of the men have just vanished. Looks like just us women to hold down the fort."

Ichigo placed the last of the firewood down and sat in front of the fire trying to warm up. "Geez, the temperature really dropped out there."

Jade looks out the window and sees frost forming. "Hmm that's unusual, there is a little frost on the window it must be really cold. It seems kind of funny that it should be so cold in August."
