xd
could I have the entrance to the guild for the purposes of quick connection? it's not that it's difficult to head through the lady to here, but I'd rather click on Provoka and get right to the point.

Great vid. xd And I can definitely see his point. Though I still look forward to September 19th as it has become "excuse to talk about pirates day" for me. Suddendly my usually disinterested friends actually want to hear about pirate lore, which is always fun. On a completely different and totally unprovoked or precedented topic I've been trying to alter my wardrobe to include items that are similar to those fashions popular during the golden age, but being subtle enough so that I don't look like I just walked out of a renaissance fair. Anyone else ever tried this? I have to say it's very difficult to find a "modern" looking tricorne.

They simpley don't exist, I'm sorry. If you want a tricorne, your going to have to deal with wearing the real thing. XD
Now, as for Miss Kales request... I'll see to it now.

Okay... Welcome to Isle de Provoka, folks. I'm your Local Viceroy Jack Kurisutofa, Captain of the 28 Gun Brig 'Lady Washington' & Second Chairman of the High Council of Provoka. If the name is too long for you, you can call me 'Lucky Jack' for short.
As I've already said... welcome. Now before anything gets going, I'd like to set down a few ground rules; mainly three:
1.) - No Flaming or God-Moding. 2.) - Keep to the PG-13 Rating as much as possible. We'll stray from it, but don't follow our example... we're bad influences. 3.) - Please Don't Stereotype Pirate Life. We get our feelings hurt easily by rude 'Argggh'ing and by being accused of being drunken, lecherous ill-bred sailors. We're pirates... not Frenchmen... please treat us with respect.
Editorial Note: All except our Governor Miss 'Zammap' Gunn. She being indeed French... confused
Also, as a Guideline... please feel free to ask any of us for advice about the Guild. We'd be happy to help you. Thanks for coming and we hope you enjoy what the island has to offer.

An arm waves frantically in the air.
"ooh! ooh! I have a question sir! There doesn't seem to be an absence thread. Am I allowed to make one or have I simply not seen it?"

*Looks out over theoretical crowd of fan-girls and picks the one with her hand up waving frantically*
An Absence Thread? Is that really necessary? Well, I suppose you just have to go to the Pub Thread and announce in RP style that your leaving the island for a while and will be back as soon as tide and time permit.
Then just remember to RP yourself back onto the island by whatever means necessary... please keep it historically accurate.
Good Luck!

((But... But... I do actually have fangirls... SakuraCon= heart 's & molestation. ))
Yet, alas... I am not Mr. Vanstring. As flattered as I am to know that I tutored Myere well enough that he is mistaken for myself, I must once again deny my involvement in his Gaian character - aside from my having helped create the account & the occasional donation to his account.
Myere is in real-life Christoph Adelbrecht from Rugen, Germany. We met here in high school when he was overseas on an exchange program. We sat next to each other in four of our seven classes, hence why we got to know each other fairly well. When he went back to Germany, we kept in contact via Gaia. Handy, aint it?
Ever since then, he and I have worked on his roleplaying skills via unofficial vampyre guilds and the like. He loves Buffy... and frankly, Kurisutofa used to be a bad-arse vampyre at one time.

You were once a vampire? I'd have never guessed. I guess that explains the hair ...
